Val's POV
      "That was a beautiful owl," I tell Maddy and Amelia before we lift up Annie and walk towards the infirmary. 

“Yeah, who knew Annie would be the daughter of Athena? That’s pretty cool!” Maddy smiles. 
“She’s always been really smart,” Amelia adds.

“True, true,”  Maddy agrees.
“She does faint an awful lot though,” I add, frowning down at our unconscious friend as we stumble towards the infirmary. 
Annie starts grumbling and her eyes open a little. She groans. "Where… What happened?"
"Your mom is Athena, and you fainted again when you found out." We set her down on the ground, helping her to sit. She puts her hands on her head and closes her eyes. 

"My mom is who? Athena? But that's impossible!" She looks at us. "I can't be Annabeth's sister!"
"Well, Athena proved you wrong. We should get back to the others."
We walk back to the ampitheatre, but we see all the other campers walking away towards their cabins, shouting “goodnight!” to one another as they tread across the green. We smile at one another and say our goodnights before heading to our own cabins.
