Take Me to the Sky
I forgot everything. Everything. I flapped my wings frantically as I tried in vain not to fall to my demise.
"Calm down!" Yoongi shouted at me. The wind brought his voice away from me but I could still manage to hear him. I noticed that I was rising at a fast rate. I did what I was told, wings outspread, catching some air currents. My hair was whipping around my face. Note to self, cut it.
Flying was an unforgettable experience. It was not too different from sticking your head out of a car going 100 kilometers an hour, only you were looking down. I craned my neck to see ahead of me. Namjoon was ahead of me, towards the right. We were flying in a V formation. Yoongi was behind me and to my left, the rope flapping in the wind.
We were going so fast. The Seoul city blocks were so small, they were like tiny blocks. Namjoon used the signal for turning left and we did. I was flapping my right wing way more than my left. I had to stop myself from turning too much. Beside from my struggling self, everyone else was handling turning as a group with such in-syncness (that's not a word I know sorry).
We landed on the roof of the mountain resort. Rather, they landed, I fell and rolled and got dirt in my hair.
"Are you okay?" Jin was fussing over me already. I told him I was fine but he was still fingering everything, trying to tell if I had any broken bones.
"Jin, I'm fine!" I protested. Jin stopped momentarily.
"Jin, she's fine," Yoongi said from behind me. Why is he always behind me? He was like a ghost.
"Of course you would say that, you're the one that's gonna be blamed if she gets hurt," Jin told him before starting again, checking my collarbone for any minute fractures.
