Web Of Lies (Silk)

"Was is it like to date a superhero?"

That was a question you often got asked by those who knew exactly who you were dating. Not a lot knew, but Cindy had told a few of your friends. They were her friends as well. She had a hard time meeting new people with being a spider person and whatnot.

Her other friends knew who she was, since they were also heroes.

You weren't.

Honestly, you couldn't even begin to explain how the two of you even met. But here you were. Living together in an apartment.

Cindy: Y/N?

You blinked. You had spaced out when you were staring at the TV again. It had become alarmingly more constant. You had considered going to a therapist and see what was happening, but you hardly had time for that stuff.

You looked over to see Cindy coming in through the window. She wore her costume, which you were a huge fan of, but her scarf was down to show her face.

She didn't see you spacing out. Good. She always got worried when she did.

She fully entered the apartment you shared and touched down on the ground. Once she closed the window, you had gotten to your feet.

You smiled at her as she began to set her things down on the table.

Y/N: Hey. How was patrol?

Cindy: Same thing, different day. I caught a purse snatcher, stopped a bodega robbery, and got a car jacker arrested.

Y/N: Slow day?

Cindy just dryly chuckled at your joke. She actually found it nice that she had someone normal to talk to. It helped make her life feel a bit more....normal.

You went and started to prepare the tea kettle. She always loved to unwind when she got home. You were the same.

Cindy: No new leads on that thief, though.

You stopped what you were doing. Cindy didn't notice this, she was too busy taking her suit off. You slowly looked over your shoulder to see that only the top part of her suit was down. She wore a grey sports bra underneath, but you could still see the few scars she had.

Y/N: Lupin?

Cindy nodded.

She had been looking for this thief for some time now. He had recently struck a very high end art exhibit near Queens recently. He had been active for years now. Started his career in England. Stole the Crown Jewels.

He didn't sell them. He simply left them on the steps of Parliament. He wanted to show the world that he simply could take them if he wanted to.

His next grand show was the Mona Lisa.

He took it, kept it for a week, then returned it without so much as a trace of evidence that he was ever there.

Well, he left a note in place of the painting.

So why did this bother you? Why did you not want Cindy to find this man?

Because, this man, was you.

You were Lupin the Thief. The infamous international criminal himself.

Cindy: What kind of tea do we have?

You snapped out of your thoughts and looked down at the tea you were making. Your hands often acted on their own when you were doing something.

Y/N: Uh....Earl's Grey? I'll pick up some more later.

Cindy: It's fine. You've been busy with work, right?

You quickly nodded.

Work. You hated lying to her. You always told her the truth as long as it wasn't about your job.

Not much of a job, really.

Y/N: Yeah. Sorry.

Cindy just smiled. You suddenly found a pair of slim yet firm arms around your wasit. She laid her head against your back and closed her eyes.

Cindy: You don't have to apologize. I've been busy too.

Being a hero. Saving lives. Doing good.

"What's it like to date a superhero?"

It was great, in a lot of ways.

But it was bad in others.

You always told her the truth except for what it was you really did. You couldn't tell her. You would lose her.

You couldn't lose her.

She was the only think in this whole world that made you sane. She was your light. You never had someone like her in your life before.

She was your everything.

Cindy: Hey, the tea can wait. We're both here right now. Why don't we....

Before she could finish, the kettle went off. You quickly pulled it off the oven and set it down with the tea now done.

Y/N: Tea's done.

Cindy watched as you began to pour two cups. One for you, one for her. Once you finished, you handed her one cup.

Y/N: Here you go. For the hero of the day.

Cindy smiled sweetly and took the cup. Once she had turned around, you let out a shaky sigh. You grabbed your own cup and followed her to the couch.

She still had on the bottom half of her suit, but you didn't ever mind. It was skin tight so you knew it was hard to get out of.

Plus, you would be lying if you said you didn't enjoy the view.

Once you sat down, you set your tea on the small table in front of the couch. Cindy drank hers in silence for a moment before she realized you were quiet.

She slowly set her cup down and looked at you.

Cindy: Y/N? What's up?

You just shook your head and turned to her.

Y/N: Nothing. I'm just glad that you're home. That you're safe.

Cindy smiled a bit, but it vanished as quickly as it appeared. She placed a hand ontop of yours.

Cindy: You know you can talk to me. What's bothering you?

You found your eyes slowly meeting hers. It killed you. Everything about this killed you.

But you couldn't tell her.

Y/N: It's nothing. Really. It's just been a while since we both got home like this.

Cindy: It has, hasn't it? Sorry. You know how it is out there.

You smiled.

Y/N: You don't have to apologize. I've been busy too.

The two of you stared at each other in silence for a moment. Then, you leaned in and kissed her.

She fell into the kiss immediately. Her hand reached up and landed on your cheek.

You leaned even more forward which caused Cindy to react. Her arms wrapped around your neck as her back hit the couch cushion. The kiss grew heated once her tounge found it's way past your lips.

The battle for dominance began as your hands reached down to her waist. Your right thumb slipped under her suit. Slowly, ever so slowly, you began to pull the skin tight fabric down.

Your lips began to travel from hers to her cheek. You then moved down to jawline. Then you reached her neck.

Cindy's eyes fluttered closed at your touch. You always did know what she liked. What got her going. You listed it as one of your many, many skills.

It was one of the few you valued.

It didn't take long before the clothes were discard on the floor.

One of the upsides to living in an apartment with your love instead of with college roommates, so long Brad, was that you could do whatever you want wherever you wanted.

Cindy: Oh my god~

You held onto Cindy's hips as she rode you on the floor. The couch was nice and all, but neither of you cared to get back on it after you had rolled off.

She simply got on top of you and picked up where you had left off.

Feeling her tightness around your cock was really pushing you over the edge. Not that it even mattered. Even if you did say something, she wouldn't stop.

You didn't want her to, either.

Due to all the crime fighting, she was incredibly fit. Her breasts weren't the biggest, but you didn't care. You treated them with love regardless.

That was evident by all the dark marks scattered across her chest.

Her smaller hands rested on your chest as she bounced on your member. She felt like heaven.

She cried out in a wonderful bliss when you finally finished. Her body fell on top of yours and she slowly began to catch her breath.

Her stamina was much better than yours, but she was still human.

You were, like, 98% sure she was still human.

97% some days.

You both laid there on the floor of your apartment. Cindy's body laid ontop of yours, but you were in no real hurry to get freed.

Cindy: I've....missed....this....

Y/N: Yeah....me...too...

You chuckled before you pulled her head close enough for you to kiss her.

She was your everything.

Which was why it killed you to lie to her.

"What Is It Like To Date A Superhero?"

You were Lupin the Thief. Named after the book your mother would read you. You had been stealing for as long as you could remember. It was for your survival at first. Then it became an addiction.

But if there was one thing you were glad you had stolen, it was the heart of Cindy Moon.

But today, right now, the lies ended.

Y/N: Cindy.

Cindy: Hm?

Y/N: I'm Lupin the Thief.
