Strange Attracts Strange (Wednesday Addams)
It's me. Ivan. Hello. Hi. I'm taking over for a while.
Enjoy my own Halloween story.
------------------
You leaned against a wall with your hat casting a perfect shadow over your eyes. You kept your hands in the pockets of your leatherman jacket, fumbling with your keys.
You felt like you didn't belong here. Despite being regarded as one of the most well liked students here, you knew that you really didn't fit in here. You looked like them, you acted like that, you thought and felt like them, but you knew the truth.
Your name was Y/N Munster. Your father was Herman Munster and your mother was Lily Munster. Your older brother was Eddie and your aunt was Marilyn.
You took a breath before you looked over to the courtyard of the school. You smiled and talked to anyone who greeted you as they were leaving. You were the star quarterback, after all. The one that everyone wanted to be friends with. The guy every girl swooned over.
You hated it. You felt like you were just playing a part in a play that was being directed by fate.
You looked up into the sky. Night would be coming soon. It was when the monsters came out. Those who stalked the night and feasted in the innocent. The ones who will hunt the world and remind the helpless just how helpless they were.
Your thoughts raced until you finally spotted the one you were looking for. The one person in this world that made you feel grounded. There was an irony in this, especially once you realized who this person was.
Wednesday Addams. The daughter of the Addams Family. Many slapped labels on her for this fact. She was a freak. An outcast. The daughter of the devil himself.
But you knew better. She was brilliant. She was creative and she had drive unlike any you had seen before. Her family wasn't a hostile one. They were kind and caring. They always were.
Wednesday met your eyes from across the courtyard, not wanting to approach you and gain unwanted attention. Instead, she motioned for you to meet her at the usual spot. You nodded and said goodbye to your teammates.
Nevermore Academy was an elite school. You were able to go on a scholarship, but that didn't mean you belonged there. You were across the country from your family. Luckily, your father had a friend from his college days that lived here. It made things easier and you always had a place to go if the dorms weren't enough.
They hardly were.
You found yourself waiting at the usual spot, looking at the leaves on the trees that were slowly dying as winter grew closer. You looked over when you heard footstep crunching the weak leaves.
Wednesday walked towards you as the wind began to pick up, the bottom of her dress drifted in the breeze. Her braided hair looked like rope and her skin was as pale as a corpse.
She stopped a few feet away from you, her face as expressionless as ever. You both stared at each other but neither spoke. You slowly began to nod, but she did not move.
Wednesday: Tonight is Halloween. The ghouls will be running around the cemetery.
She was right. Halloween was upon you. It was why you were so sweaty and nervous. It was a night that you dreaded more than anything in the world.
Wednesday: Are you ready?
You rolled your eyes.
Y/N: You know the answer to that.
Wednesday raised a brow, waiting for you to answer. Yet, you still didn't say anything. She simply accepted it and walked towards you. She then grabbed your jacket and pulled you closer to her, turning her head to present her cheek.
When nothing happened, she looked at you.
Y/N: What do you say?
Wednesday: Now.
She turned her head around and you finally relented. You leaned down and kissed her cold skin. You pulled back and she let go, turning and walking away. You followed.
The house of the Addams was on the outskirts of the town. It was a rather large home that looked old and decrepit. The inside of the house was also old and decrepit. There was a Gothic feel to it. The Addams were very wealthy, so much so that they had a chamber of gold under the house.
But that wasn't why you were here. Gomez Addams was a friend of your father's. They had met when they attended Transylvania University together. Roommates. So when you got a scholarship for Nevermore Academy, your father called his old friend who was more than happy to keep an eye on you.
You waited for Wednesday to open the front door before stepping inside. The smell of dust and cobwebs filled your nose, making you want to sneeze. You rubbed your nose before you looked over to the stairs. There, you found the woman of the house. A slender, beautiful woman who wore a black gown that seemed to spread on the floor like liquid.
Her eyes seemed to be the only place light shined. Her lips and her nails were red like blood.
Morticia: Welcome, esteemed guest. I hope you brought an appetite. We're having entrails.
Morticia descended the stairs, almost levitating, before she placed a gentle land against your chin. She the began to dust some dirt from your shoulder. Wednesday definitely got her beauty from her mother, though her brilliance was from her father.
Gomez: My boy. There you are.
Gomez Addams entered the room from the lounge, immediately hurrying to shake your hand, as he always did when you were over. He was quite the charismatic man.
Gomez: Happy Halloween.
You nodded as you shook his hand.
Y/N: Happy Halloween, sir. Thank you for letting me bother you all tonight.
Gomez: Oh, nonsense, my boy. You are always welcomed to take my attic. Did Wednesday tell you about the ghouls?
You nodded. You knew about the ghouls.
Gomez: We'll eat soon. You are welcomed to join us, of course.
You thanked them, deciding to try and eat with them, before Wednesday lead you upstairs. You both reached the attic space where you looked around. It was completely bare save for a chain connected to a wall and a chew toy that looked like a business man.
You looked to Wednesday unamused. She seemed pleased with her joke. She walked over to you, stopped mere inches away from you. She leaned up, grabbing your chin making you look at her.
She the leaned up and kissed you. She wasn't a big fan of PDA. Her parents didn't care where they were or who they were around. They would get it on like rabbits. Wednesday, however, wanted her privacy. She wanted to enjoy her time with her lover.
She wrapped her arms around your neck, keeping you in. Like tentacles taking a ship under water. Only, you didn't want to get away. You wanted more. You wanted so much more.
You gripped her dress and pushed her back against the wall. You didn't ever need to worry about being too rough. If anything, she would get upset if you weren't rough enough. She was like her parents after all.
You felt it when she dug her nails into your skin, just below your ear. You hissed in pain, but Wednesday simply leaned up and licked it. She then pressed her lips to it, making you shiver.
You still had some time before dinner.
---------------
You sat with your back to the wall, your ankle chained to keep you in place. You were turning the chew toy in your hand, looking at the dark sky just outside the window.
Wednesday sat across the room, writing in her journal. She always documented your visits. At least, the special ones. She was fascinated by you in every way. She knew your body inside and out. Maybe more than you did.
You dropped the chew toy before letting out a sigh.
Wednesday: You're nervous.
Y/N: Do you blame me?
Wednesday: Who else can I blame?
Her humour was indeed lost on you at times. You rubbed your neck before you looked out the window. The time would soon be upon you. You could feel it coming. You reached back and scratched your ear before turning back to your beloved.
Y/N: Can I get some water? I would get it myself but...
You lifted the chain, making her smile ever so slightly. She wouldn't let it show, of course. She got off of her chair and closed her journal, looking at you from the darkness.
Wednesday: Don't change until I get back.
She then turned and left the attic. Just in time, too. Your head was starting to hurt. You grabbed it before your muscles began to stiffen. You scratched your neck before your body jerked.
----------------
You felt the chill before you even woke up. Your body was stripped naked with only strains of clothing left. Your shoes were destroyed as well, leaving you barefoot. Your hands were partly buried under the cold ground.
You groaned before you decided to try and get up. You pushed yourself off the ground, grunting as the dirt stuck to your skin. The fog filled the cemetery you were in, but this wasn't a public one. No, this was a familiar one.
You turned your head, looking right at a tombstone with the name Addams engraved on it. You then heard what sounded like slurp, making you look forward. There, you found Wednesday sitting on her grandmother's grave. She was drinking some kind of green brew.
You eventually sat, your arm dropped over your leg.
Wednesday: The iron chains didn't hold. We'll have to try titanium next time.
Y/N: Or a silver bullet.
Wednesday: That can be my present to you for our two year anniversary.
Y/N: How bad was it?
Wednesday: You never made it out of the grounds. You kust be hungry.
She then reached into her pocket and pulled out something. She then held it out towards you. You sighed and took it, biting into it. You then spat it out before looking at the brown bone shaped treat.
You looked back up to her unamused.
Y/N: Is this a dog treat?
Wednesday: Do you not enjoy it?
Y/N: Not in the way you would think.
You tossed the treat away before Wednesday got off the grave. She stalked over to you, kneeling down and lifting your chin with her hand.
Wednesday: You look like you had a rough night.
You reached up, pulling her closer.
Y/N: It wasn't so bad.
You then kissed her. She didn't pull away, rather, she leaned closer. You soon fell back where you held her. Eventually, she pulled away and looked at you in the eye.
Wednesday: Come with me and we'll get some actual food.
You then smirked.
Y/N: Why do that when we could stay here?
Wednesday: Because you will starve. And if you die, it will be by my hand. Now get up.
Wednesday escaped your grasp and walked back to the grave. She grabbed a robe and tossed it to you, giving you something to cover yourself with.
You looked at it for a second before you pulled it on. Wednesday then held out her hand, which you took. Together you walked back to the Addams home to get food.
Wednesday may be weird, but so were you. So was everyone. The world would be rather dull other wise.
