You took a deep breath, taking in the smell of the salt water. The Dawn Treader sailed forward with no resistance, as if the water itself was moving to allow the ship forward. You opened your eyes and stared out at the vast sea before you.

Ruby spun around and glided across the floor of the grand ballroom as the music reached it's climax, nearing it's end. Her dress shined in the lights as she reached her hand up towards the sky.

Oswalt sat upon his throne and watched as his soldiers celebrated their victory. The shadowy creatures had pulled their weight, but the humans were the one who had sieged the castle. He was proud, of course, but he knew this was simply the first of many hard battles ahead of them.

You held Cerise closely as you both fell down the large dark canyon and into the dark abyss below. Hunter and Darling watched in horror, unsure of what to do to help. All they could do is watch as you plunged to the depths below.

Ruby and Brair ran through the halls as fast as they could as the creatures chased after them. Their claws stabbed into the walls and lunged forward, quickly closing the gap by the second. Their growls and snarls grew louder and louder the closer they got.

Oswalt's hand glided against the frame of the family portrait before him. He stared at his siblings and his father. His eyes landed on Glynda. Her slight smile enraged him to no end. His breathing grew heavier before he grabbed the frame and threw it across the room, making it shatter upon impact.

Darling snapped the reigns to get the horse to run faster as the sand storm gained on her. The city was just within view but still so far away. She knew that you were all giving it your all, so she knew she had to as well. She snapped the reigns again.

Ruby stared at the Royal Council in uneasiness. These people were the ones who had caused the Fall of Oz. The ones who had slaughtered her friends and family and took away any resemblance of a normal childhood. She was here to make them answer for their crimes.

Oswalt lifted his blade which made his soldiers enter their fighting stances. They lifted their weapons and pointed their spears and aimed their bows. This battle would determine the outcome of his conquest. The future of his people.

You and your friends watched as the blue lights floated around the ship. Darling giggled as one landed on her hand, revealing that it was actually a sea fairy. The small creature smiled back before flying away to join her friends.

Ruby dropped to her knees, unable to take it anymore. Tears fell from her eyes as she cried, clenching the earring in her hands. Ozma quickly went to the girl to comfort her. She held her closely and allowed her to cry into her dress.
