Merlin POV

I stared down gloomily at the pile of armour that Arthur dumped on me this morning. I really wasn't in the mood to be polishing armour all morning. A while after the fight a few weeks back i felt something strange in the air, like a presence had returned. I had shrugged it of but i felt like something important had happened that i'd missed.

I still feel a hole in my heart, i miss Freya, both of them. I stared down at the armour. Unfortunately this wasn't going to clean itself. I think i will visit freya after i have cleaned Arthurs' armour.

Finally! Finished! Lifting the armour up, staggering slightly, i made my way to the armoury to put it all away. I headed towards the stables and mounted on my steed: Kertail. I cantered out the gates and made my way to the Lake of Avalon.

Arthur POV

Ever since Morgana had fled and we won back Camelot, Merlin's been acting strangely. He won't tell me what's wrong though. Even the knights agree with me. I just saw him riding out of Camelot, if i'm quick enough i can follow. I never thought i'd be following my servant! I speedily mounted on my horse Rolando, and followed Merlin's tracks. We went through the forest and ended up by a lake. This is the lake were Freya died. And where the other Freya is buried. Dismounting silently i shuffled towards a tree and hid behind it. I saw hand raise and his eyes glow gold. A figure rose out of the lake. It was Freya, Merlin's old, dead, lover. I could catch snippets of the converastion like "It felt strange." "Really?" "I'm not sure." and "Miss you." Freya hugged Merlin soothingly. I have to say they suit eachother perfectly and i ended that. Merlin began to swim into the water with her. Despite the warm weather he must be freezing right now! They talked for a while then he waved and swam to shore. He was shivering as he walked up to the other Freya's grave. He produced a rose and placed it on her grave. Quietly i snook back from the tree and galloped to Camelot knowing Merlin would be following soon.

Merlin POV

I sneezed again - ok swimming in the lake wasn't a great idea. Gaius stared at me curiously then reluctantly began to sip his soup. "Are you going to tell me where you went?" asked Gaius. I gulped, there is no point of my lieing.

"I i-umm visited Freya."i stuttered

"Merlin! I told you NOT to do that. Do you know how dangerous that is? You need to get over her!" shouted Gaius. I could tell he regretted what he said but it didn't matter.

"I can't just get over her! I loved her, such a strange emotion to you isn't it!" i cried.

"Merlin i-"

"Just forget it!" i screamed. Tears bubbling in my eyes. I stood up knocking down the bench and stormed out. I ran down the corridors

"Merlin!" shouted Gwaine and Arthur.

"GO AWAY!" I burst into tears, still running i entered the courtyard and left out the gate.

Morgause POV

I could sense Merlin drawing near. Only time will turn. There he is! Revenge at last. His hair was messy and tears were running down his face. He stopped in the middle of the clearing. Lost and upset. He is so vunrable. I stepped out of the shadows. "Hello Merlin." i smiled at him maliciously and sent him flying into a tree, he was now out cold...

DU DU DUH!! Oh another update. What will happen? Hopefully i will update this book every sunday! YAY. So who watched Atlantis last night? I did! IT'S AMAZING!! So amazing that i'm going to write a new fanfic about it! I'll keep you posted on the progress of that!
