"N-Nothing happened"

"You know you can't lie to me"

"Ryan, I am telling t-truth"

Aryan sighed and stopped Ari's left hand which is busy pulling rubber band on the wrist of her right hand, leaving red marks. A habit she usually do, when she is lying as well as when she is anxious.

Ohh, you are thinking what is going on ? Right ?

Well let me enlighten you,

Aryan noticed Ari's sudden odd behaviour and decided to ask about this when they will remain alone.

As expected, Arjun and Arnav left to bring some food, Aarav and Damon go to talk with Doctor, while Mary and Lina went home to prepare for Lunch as Ari is going to discharge today.

Aryan and Ari are alone in room so he decided to ask her about her sudden mood change.

Aryan can easily tell that she is lying because of her habits but he decided to not to push her.

He sighed and took out her rubber band from her wrist and go at her back and said "Ok, I will not force you. Tell me when you are ready. Remember one thing, I always had your back".

He said while brushing her hair with his fingers and tying it in a ponytail. As he know that if she had rubber band, she will continuasouly pulled it making her wrist bruised.

Meanwhile Ariel's mind is somewhere else. She is confused. She didn't know is it a good idea to tell this to Aryan or not.

"..... Remember one thing, I always had your back" her brother's voice brings her in reality.

She knows she can trust him.

He was going to leave the room, when Ari called him.

"B-Bubby"

Aryan stopped in his place and turned around.

"Hmm ?"

"I-I want to t-tell you one thing"

Aryan came towards her and sit beside her.

"What happened ?"

"I h-heard him"

Aryan frowned in confusion and asked "Whom ?"

Ari bit her lips still conflicting in her mind. She looked at Aryan's eyes and the only thing she found is love and trust. She mentally smiled seeing this much love and sighed.

"Boss"

Time Skip ( In Ari's room )

Ariel's P.O.V.

This is so boring.

I don't want to sit here.

Well yes, I am discharged from hospital but still I am not allowed to get up from the bed. I know my thighs are still injured but that doesn't mean, I will sit whole day.

Ok enough now, I am not going to sit here whole day looking at a wall.

I slid to the edge of my bed and was going to stand up from the bed, but,

"And what do you think you are doing, little miss ?" A voice said.

I flinched and looked at the door to see Aarav leaning on door with folded hands.

"M-Me ? I ju-just- Wait What I am not a little" I glared at him.

"You are, so now shut up and tell me what are you going to do ?" He rolled his eyes and said.

"I was just-"

"What is happening here ?" Another voice interrupted me.

"Oh Hii Arjun how are you ?" I immediately said before Aarav could say anything.

Arjun raised his eyebrow at me.

But sighed and came inside the room.

"Ok now come and eat"

I looked at his hand to see a plate

"Arjun Noooo" I whinned.

"Ari you have to" He came near me.

I saw his plate only to see some yellow food.

It looks delicious tho.

"What is this ?" I asked him confused.

He answered "This is Poha"

"What is Poha ?"

"This is an Indian dish. It tastes good. You should try it" Arjun replied sitting on my bed.

"Indian ? Mary Aunty knows how to cook Indian food ?" I asked him amazed.

"Well no, do you forget Mom is Indian ?"

I mouthed 'o' shape.

Oh well, you are confused right ? Wait, I will tell, Dad is Italian while Mom is Indian. That's why Arjun, Aarav and Aryan are Indian names and Ariel is Italian name as Granny gave me that name.

(A/n : Idk if Ariel is Italian name or not, forgive me if it's not 🤧)

"Ok now eat" He said keeping spoon infront of my mouth.

"But didn't we ate some minutes before ?" I muttered to him, siding his hand.

I know I am hungry but smell of food made me threw up.

"That was a breakfast and it wasn't few minutes ago, it was in morning" Aarav said coming inside the room.

"But still I am full bubba." I whinned.

"No, you can't skip lunch" Aarav said sternly.

"B-But I can't bubs" Aarav eyes softened a bit.

"Do you want to eat anything else ? I will bring it" Arjun asked sighing.

My eyes lit up but before I could start with ice cream, Aarav cuts me off.

"No, she will eat this only. Poha is a light snacks and good for health too. We didn't gave you whole meal because we know you will don't like it. But I will not let you skip Poha too." He strictly sitting other side of me.

"But Bubs, I will throw up if I will e-eat" I whispered to him.

"It's ok. Arjun will clean it" He told me winking.

I giggled.

"Heyyy- *sighs* ok I will clean it. But you have to eat now" He told me keeping his spoon infront of me.

A idea popped in my mind.

"I will only eat this if you both will fulfill my wish" I told them smirking.

They both raised their eyebrows at me.

"I am bored here" I told them thinking they will take hint but aish I forget I had dumbo brothers.

"So ?"

"Anyone of you will take me to park" I squealed.

I know they will never agree on it. So I don't have to eat anything.

"Ok, eat first then we both will go to park"

Ok, nevermind. I had another plan.

"Ok then my second wish is to eat ICE CREAM"

"NO" They both said simultaneously.

"Whyyyy" I whinned.

"First of all its a winter and second you will catch cold, so a big NO" Arjun said strictly.

I pout.

"What is a relation between winter and ice cream ?" I asked him.

"Who the fuck eat Ice cream in winter ?" Aarav said wide eyed.

I looked at him in disbelief

"The fun of eating ice cream in the cold is totally different." I said gulping water formed in my mouth remembering Ice cream.

They both looked at me like I said something very non sense.

"No No No Not Ice cream, I will give you Muffins, is it ok ?" Arjun made a deal.

Muffins are ok, of course not as good as Ice Cream but it's better than nothing, right ?

"Ok" I pouted.

They both grinned like a chesire cat.

"Ok now Eat"

I sighed knowing now no excuses.

I opened my mouth and he keep spoon in my mouth and started feeding me.

Time Skip ( Going to park )

"Ok, now wear this and then you can go" Arjun said.

I looked at his hands only to see Jacket, cap, gloves and socks ?

Is he serious ?

I looked at him in disbelief. But before I could protest, he made me wear Jacket.

"Heyyy, it's not that cold. I will look cartoon. Leave mee" I whinned.

"Shut up" He sternly said made me pout. He took cap and slid on my head covering my ears, setting my hair. He sat on the ground and made me wear socks. He even glared at me when I struggle to escape from him. Then he gave me gloves and before I could say anything, he again glare at me.

"Wear this otherwise, no going out" He sternly said. Sighing, I wear gloves.

"Aww , You are so cute" Arjun cooed at me looking me up and down.

Suddenly, Aarav came in.

"Woahh, you are looking cute like a potato" He 'complimented' me grinning.

I glared at him made both of them awed at me.

"SHALL WE GO NOW ?" I asked him frustrated.

"Sure m'lady" He told in British accent and picked me in bridal style to go to park.

I am on wheel chair and Aarav is pushing that wheel chair.

I told them, I could walk but they are stubborn queens. Aarav asked me that it's either wheel chair or he will going to carry me. And of course I will choose wheel chair.

We are roaming in the park.

There are not many people in park. Some children are playing, some couples are just talking while some friends are enjoying here.

"So, Are you enjoying ?" Aarav asked me.

I don't know. I am enjoying this atmosphere but still I am not enjoying it. I mean I don't know what is happening with me. I re-

"Ahhhhh- what are you doing ?" I screamed suddenly when I feel I am in air.

"Oh well, I thought why to trouble wheel chair when you have muscular and handsome brother to carry you, hmm ?" He asked me winking.

I can feel people's gazes on me.

"Aarav this is embarrassing, put me down" I whisper yelled at him.

"Uuff I am offended" He said pouting and walking to the bench.

I looked around to see girls drooling on him and others are staring at us. I looked up to see him winking at the other girls made them squeal in happiness like their crush just propose them infront of whole school.

I just hide my face on his chest out of embarrassment. I could hear him chuckle above me. I hit his chest with my fist which only made him laugh more.

We go towards a bench and he sat on a bench, holding me tight on his lap much to my dismay.

"Aarav I know you are doing this so that I will not come to park again till I will heal , aren't you ?" I asked him glaring.

"What I am doing ?" He asked me innocently.

"You carry me, made me sit on y-" I cuts off by some voices.

"Heyyy you are so cute"

"Who is this girl, she is also cute"

"She is looking like his sister"

"Aww, you are so caring to your sister"

I looked around to see 4 to 5 girls standing infront of us squealing and awwing.

"Oh well, what can I do ? I just love my sister so much. Yes, she is the cutest thing I ever saw" He said pinching my cheeks and secretly smirked at me "I am also her favourite brother. Actually, I respect all girls and yes I am single" He said winking at other girls.

They all giggled and again started ranting at how sweet Aarav is, how protective he is over me, how cute is he and all. I just sat there leaning on his chest comfortably and looking at those girls blankly.

But a voice stopped all rantings.

"Is she perhaps adopted ?" We all looked at a girl. She is smirking at me.

"Because look at her, she didn't even look like you. You are so handsome and hot and looked at her clothes, so downmarket" She said laughing.

I bit my lips. Unknowingly, my hold on Aarav's t-shirt tightened.

"Well atleast she is that rich to have full clothes, not like you" Aarav said tightening his hold on me.

I looked at him only to see smirking at her, who is looking embarrassed as hell. While others started laughing at her.

"T-This is a f-fashion" She stuttered indicating a short skirt which hardly comes to her knees and a sleeveless crop top.

Isn't she feel cold ?

As much as I was frustrated with a jacket, cap and all but I am never going to admit that I feel so comfortable and loved with their this little gesture.

"Oooo, little sister why don't you inform her the brand of clothes you are wearing" He asked me curiously.

Let's just pretend that I didn't heard "little" this time.

"Louis Vuitton" I whispered but I guess everyone heard it.

Her eyes widened.

"And about adoption, why don't you ask your parents about your adoption from zoo, hmm ?" Aarav said sweetly to him.

Her mouth slightly opened in shock or embarrassment, I don't know. But she immediately ran from there, hearing everyone's laughing.

I sighed.

"Thank you" I whispered to him.

He hugged me tight.

"Awwww so cute" I heard squeal.

I sighed and looked at him.

He shrugged his shoulders and winked at me.

Our whole evening went like this. To be honest, those girls are not that bad. We all talked and laughed. I could also see Aarav was smiling at me contently, looking at me laughing, from the corner of my eyes.

I enjoyed it.

Really enjoyed it.

Now we are heading to our home, me on Aarav's back as he is giving me piggy back ride. I enjoyed piggy back ride too. But I am never going to tell him that.

On the way of home, he teased one street dog and that dog started chasing us, resulting Aarav to run towards home fast, with me still on his back.

We reached at the mansion laughing loud at our antics unknown to the fact what is waiting in the Mansion for us or should I say for me.
