Aryan's P.O.V.

I am sitting on hospital bed beside Ari who is hugging me like her life dependent on me.

Yes, she woke up half an hour ago and from then she is in my arms.

I also don't have any plan to leave her so I am also hugging her protectively.

While there are three whinning bodies are roaming around room requesting me to leave her for a second, so that they can hug her.

"Enough Aryan, I also want to hug her"

"She is my sister too"

"Aryan fucking Moretti leave her now" ... Yupp that was Aarav.

But not now.

Ari slowly looked up and a small smile broke on her lips, with tears glistened eyes.

She looked at Arjun, Aarav and Arnav with her big doe eyes and spread her arms to hug them.

"No" I immediately said and hugged her back.

As soon as I said, three pairs of death glares thrown in my way. But did I care ? Hell nahh !

When I looked down, I saw her hugging me back with a smile on her face, again hiding her face in my chest. I chuckled and kissed her head.

They all again whinned, making me smirked.

Our moments interrupted by Mary as she came in with food.

"Sweetie, Eat this food" She called her softly.

Ari looked up at the food and then shake her head as a no and again hide her face in my chest.

"You have to eat it, sweetie. You need to take medicines too" She told her softly.

Ari again shaked her head. Mary sighed.

"Princess ?" I called her softly caressing her hair.

She hummed.

"You know you have to eat" I told her softly.

"I am not hungry" she looked up to me and pouted.

I sighed sadly.

"Still you have to eat" I told her.

"No Ryan, I am not at all hungry" she whinned.

"Ok, will you eat if I will buy you plushies" Arjun offered coming to sit on the other side of the bed.

Her eyes lit up listening plushies.

"But I don't want to eat. I feel like throw up" She muttered.

Side effect.

"Ari ?" I called her softly.

She looked at me with her doe eyes.

"Will you eat, if I will feed you ?" I asked her softly.

She looked at me for a second and then looked at the plate and then hesitantly nodded.

I smiled and took plate from Mary and adjust myself, so that I can feed her.

As soon as I leave her, Arjun hugged her tightly in a blink of an eye. She hugged him back. I could see Arjun relaxed his body in Ari's embrace. A small smile form on my lip.

While Aarav and Arnav both huffed and settle themselves on couches. I rolled my eyes at them.

They forget that they are mafias not a freaking children.

"Ok now eat" Arjun said caressing her hair. She nodded and turned towards me. I smiled at her and started feeding her.

She looked hesistant in some of the bites but eat it nonetheless.

"A-Aunty ?" She called Mary softly.

Mary looked at her, smiling.

"Yes ?"

"Who are y-you ?" She asked her.

Mary's smile faded and I could hear pin drop silence in the room. Aarav stopped tapping his phone screen, while Arjun stopped eating and Arnav, who is talking in phone stopped and said something in phone and hanged it. All attention is on her.

She sighed.

"I am assassin"

It's not a surprise for anyone after seeing Mary with gun. Seeing us like that, Mary continued.

"Correction, I was assassin. I leave that work when you all born" She said slowly.

"Then suddenly a-again wi-" Ari cuts off by Mary.

"I will tell you'll everything" Mary sighed and started.

"I was a single mother. I also had a daughter. My innocent princess. I loved her more than anything else in the world. I am not a poor. Being a assassin has its own perks. I gave her everything she wants. She also loved me the most. I never care that she was a product of rape"

"R-Rape ?" Ari stuttered with tears in her eyes. Arjun keep his hand on her shoulder, and rubbed her hand, silently trying to calm her.

Mary smiled sadly and nodded.

"I was 14, when I was coming to home from my friend's house. It was late so I took alley way so that I could reach home fast. And that was my mistake. After 1 or 2 week, I came to know that I was pregnant. I was devastated. Mother at the age of 12 was breaking me. My Dad and Mom told me to abort it. I also became ready to abort it. But my heart didn't allow me to do it. What is that unborn's fault in all these, how should I kill him or her. These thoughts made me realise that I can't abort this child. I told my family about this. Naive me was thinking that they will support me."

Mary sadly chuckled and continued "How wrong I was ! They tried their best to made me abort my child. But I can't. So, they just abandoned me. I was homeless, roaming on streets, asking for help, begging to feed my unborn child, but I never gave up.

One day, one nice lady adopted me. She gave me all the love and happiness. I came to know that she is assassin and she also trained me to become assassin. 9 months over and I gave birth to a girl. She also loved my daughter Eva as her granddaughter. I was happy. Because now, I had a full family. A loving mom and cute little daughter. I was 19, when I heard that lady died in her one mission. Again I was devastated. But I keep myself strong for my love, my daughter, Eva.

My Eva was also very responsible at the early age. She always want to study. Her dream was to become a Doctor. She was intensely beautiful. I gave her love. I never let her realise that she didn't had a dad. But I know she still missed a father figure in her life. She loved me the most. Always telling me that I am her super mom. I couldn't help but feel proud at myself. She was my only life, my only light. She was my hope to live. The day I-I l-lost her, I lost m-myself too. I lost everything. My hope was gone, my light was gone, my d-daughter was gone. My E-Eva g-gone"

Mary burst in tears. Arnav immediately hugged her. I could see tears in everyone's eyes. Ari is also crying. Arjun hugged Ari, with tears in his eyes. I can feel what Mary was going through.

I know I am not a father but I love my sister just like how Mary loves her daughter. I can't even think my life without her. If anything happens to her, I can't live too. How Mary keeps herself strong in all these things and also not broke, is definitely needs respect. She is real strong woman. I blinked my tears away.

"H-How did s-she umm dead ?" Aarav hesitated, also blinking his tears.

Mary pulled out from hug of Arnav.

“Rape and murdered" She spatted with a venom.

My eyes widened.

“Who ?" I gritted my teeth.

“Mandy, Collin and Zeoni" She said gritting her teeth.

WHAT ?

I could tell all are shocked. I clenched my fist in anger.

They are not going to get an easy death.

Mary sighed.

“I came to Moretti Mansion just to kill Damon. Because, I thought Damon raped and murdered Eva. I was angry and want to end his life. But I always failed. One day having enough of this, I go to his room with my gun, but there I heard Damon and Lina talking that Lina is pregnant.

My legs stopped. I want to kill Damon, but I don't want unborn child to live without father figure. I was assassin, I shouldn't be thinking like that, but I was a Mother too. I can't see other children without father figure in their life because I already saw my Eva missing a father figure in her life. That's why I decided to forgive Damon just for unborn's sake.

I was going out from their life but Lina requested me to stay with her in her pregnancy. So, I stayed with her because it's not her fault in all these things. After 9 months, you all born. I was very happy. I saw my Eva in Ari. She was just like Eva. It's like my Eva reincarnates. That's why I stayed with you all and leave my work because I don't want to leave you all.

One day, I overheard conversation of Mandy on his phone and come to know that he and his friends Collin and Zeoni raped and m-murdered Eva, not Damon. Damon never touches any girl except Lina. My whole world shaked. I was going to kill an innocent. But anger built in me and I immediately go towards Mandy and slapped him. He was shocked but soon realised everything.

I leave my job that's why I didn't had gun so I was going to tell this to Damon but Mandy stopped me saying if I ever open my mouth then he will kill you all, I can't risk your lives because I already love you all. so, I forget my E-Eva."

A dead silence.

This time Aarav hugged her. I can't help but join their hug. She hugged us back.

“Leave me" a voice said.

We all looked at Ari only to see she looked annoyed and confused while Arjun hold her from her waist.

“No, you can't walk" He denied.

I realised what she wants.

“I also want to hug them" She whinned struggling from his grip. But he didn't budge.

Mary chuckled and immediately go to Ari and hugged her. She smiled widely hugging her back. Arjun also hugged them from behind Ari. Me and Aarav looked at each other and joined hug. I also pulled Arnav in hug who was smiling with tearful eyes in the corner.

We all settled down.

“By the way Mary, who told you that we are in Cebu. I mean you and Arnav came on time. If you both not then, I guess Zeoni and Kathie would have ran away" Arjun said.

Yes, I forgot to ask this.

“Did Arnav bought you there ?" Aarav thought.

“No, I didn't. Mary came to me saying you all are in Cebu and we have to go" Arnav replied.

We all again looked at Mary.

“Sara, Vera and Ember told me. They came to know that Zeoni kept Ari there. And they knew that You all don't want to see their faces that's why they told me about this as they knew that I was assassin"

We all give her a little nod.

A voice breaks a silence.

“A-Ariel"
