Ariel's P.O.V.

One week passed. And here I am sitting in exam hall for chemistry exam. And I am nervous as hell.

I know that this is just a practice test, nothing serious but still it's a Chemistry. CHEMISTRY. Subject full of reactions.

Time Skip (Exam over)

"How was your paper ?" Ryan asked me.

"It's not that bad. I mean it's good. Do you know what, I forget product of Sodium sulphite and hydrochloric acid, but in the end, I remembered that. I am so happy for that. What about you, Bubby ? How was your paper ?" I asked him.

"As usual. It's not like I care" He said and winked. I giggled at him.

We came to our next class which is English class. We sat on our bench and started talking about random things. Soon, teacher came.

"Students, we have a project. Project will be done in group." Mrs. Pink said.

"OK ARYAN, PLEASE BE IN MY GROUP"

"ARJUN, LET'S MEET IN MY HOUSE"

"I WANT OLIVER"

"ARIEL, WE WILL-"

Before he could complete his sentence, a hand slammed on the table. We all looked at Ryan, who slammed his hand and glaring at that boy then turn to look at teacher.

"NO, I will make group" She said.

"so the group will be like this. Girl 3- Girl 8, Girl 4 - Boy 12, Girl 18- Girl 7, Boy 19 - Boy 1, Boy 15- Girl 6 ............ Aryan - Oliver and Arjun - Ariel. Start your work now, and show me after 3 hours" Mrs. Pink said and left the class.

Everyone go towards their partner and started talking, probably discussing about their project.

I looked at Bubby, only to see him looking at me pleadingly. I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Please don't leave me, with that crackhead" He requested me.

I giggled. Before he could say anything, a voice cuts his sentence.

"Is someone missing me, here ?" Livi said from behind me and come towards us.

Rii sighed.

"Ok, you both enjoy. I am leaving" I said and hugged both of them and left from there to my partner's bench, who is Sleeping on the last bench.

I sighed.

Boys will be Boys.

"Arjun get up. We have to complete our project" I said to him.

He ignored me. I pouted.

"Wakeee uppp" I whinned, lightly shaking him.

He looked up tiredly and then give me some space on his bench so I can sit there.

"You will do it and write my name on it. Understand ?" He told me.

I shaked my head.

He raised his eyebrow at me.

"Ok chill, I will do it" I said to him.

He nodded and again slept.

I smiled slightly and started doing my work.

"How was your chemistry paper" He suddenly asked me, making me slightly flinch.

"It's not that bad" I said to him.

He stiffened a bit but then nodded.

"What about yours ?" I asked him still focusing on my work.

"Hmm, good" he said boringly and then again slept.

# After 3 hours,

We submit our projects and I go towards Ryan.

He is looking frustrated.

"What's with your face ?" I asked him.

"This man is more dangerous than Arnav" He said refering to Livi, who is standing proudly infront of his fangirls.

I giggled.

He sighed and chuckled.

Time Skip (Sorry for so many time skips)

I am here sitting in chemistry class praying silently about my marks. Aarav is the only one, I know here. Mr. Jones is distributing test papers with marks on it.

"And Aarav get 98 out of 100 in chemistry" Mr. Jones said.

Everyone including me clapped.

Aarav goes and take his paper and sit in his seat boringly.

"Ariel get 89 out of 100 in chemistry" He said.

I was shocked.

Author's P.O.V.

Ari is beyond happy seeing her marks. She is happy with her improvement. She can't wait to show her this marks to her bubby. Her excitement is clearly shown on her face. She eagerly want to see her brother's reaction. But what she didn't know is someone staring at her with so much tensed and afraid.

That someone is none other than her one Brother, Aarav.

"What ? 89 ?"

"What if Dad-"

"No, No Don't think like that "

"Dad is not here, so nothing will happen"

"And She has Aryan with her. He will not let anyone touch her. Not even Dad"

These are the thoughts going on in his mind.

He is scared but still maintain his cold facade. He is scared for his sister.

Class over.

Ariel's P.O.V.

I came out of class in search of Ryan.

I saw him standing near his locker scrolling his phone.

I ran to him and hugged him right. He stiffened for a second, but when he realised, that's me, he relaxed and hugged me back.

“What happened ? Are you ok ?" He asked me worried.

“I get 89 out of 100 in chemistry" I said to him excitedly.

“Didn't I tell you, you can do it" He told me happily.

We pulled out from hug and I looked up at him. He has a proud face.

“What about you ?" I asked him.

“97" He said.

“Woww, Congratulations. I am so proud of you, Rii" I beamed and again hugged him.

He hugged me back and chuckled.

Suddenly, His phone rings. He saw name and groaned but didn't receive that call. He looked annoyed.

“What happened ?" I asked him.

“Nothing" He replied.

I nodded but again his phone rings.

He again declined call.

I raised my eyebrow at him. He sighed.

“I have a business deal in New York for 2 days" He said.

“Okay ? Then why are you looking so tensed ?" I asked him.

“Nothing" He sighed.

“Then when are you going ?" I asked him curiously.

“I am not going" He said to me.

“What ? Why ?" I asked him.

“Cuz I am not interested in that deal. Simple" He shrugged.

“I want to hear truth" I said to him.

“It's a truth, little sis" He told me.

“You don't have to postponed or cancelled your meetings and deals, because of me, Ryan. I am fine. No one will hurt me. You can complete your work" I said to him softly.

He stared at me for a second. And then shake his head.

“I can't leave you alone here, Ari. You are more important to me than these so called Deals." He told me and started walking ahead.

I stared at his back with tears in my eyes. I ran to catch him.

“Ryan, listen to me. Don't worry, Arjun and Aarav are here. Nothing will happen. Please attend this meeting. I will feel bad, if you will cancel this because of me" I said to him.

“But-"

“It's only 2 days"

He sighed and said “Fine"

I smiled at him. And hold his arm. He chuckled and ruffled my hair.
