Ariel's P.O.V.

We head to Bubby's office, hand in hand. Everyone greets us with respect, bowing slightly. Bubby nods to acknowledge them, while I give them a bright smile. These people are good—they always listen to Bubby, just like I do. Since I always obey him, I must be good too! 😁 I'm so proud of my twin because everyone respects him and follows his lead.

I know he's a Mafia King and that his mafia is the number-one organization in the city. But I also know that he never harms innocents. He even helps lots and lots of people. I think that's why everyone loves him, and I do too.

We both enter Bubby's office. His office is so big and modern, with a sleek design and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a stunning view of the city. Everything is neatly organized, with his desk at the center, framed by luxurious furniture and subtle decor. It's impressive, but it feels like home to me because Bubby is here.

"Do you like it, Princess?" he asks, watching me as I take in the view.

"Yes! It's amazing," I reply with a big grin.

He chuckles at my excitement, and I know he's happy to see me happy. This is why I love coming here. Not just because of the office, but because it means I get to spend time with Bubby. And when we're together, I feel safe and loved.

[Aryan's Office]

"Ari , Baby, Do whatever you want, but stay in office room only. I am here doing some work only, Ok ?" Ryan said softly.

"Ok" I mock salute him and giggled.

He chuckled slightly and move to his big chair and I move to the couch to see cartoon films in Bubby's phone.

Heyy Don't judge me, I still love cartoons 😁

Rii doesn't mind me taking and using his mobile. I really love him a lot.

I occasionally look to him to check up on him. What can I say, His first priority is me, then comes his work and then his 3rd priority is his health. I can't change his mind. So I started taking care of him and I know, he knows that but he also know that he can't change my mind. He is MY Brother, My Twin, My Best Friend, My inspiration, My First love (not romantically), My SUPERHERO.

I come in reality with the knock on the door.

Rii glanced at me and then back to door and said "Come in" coldly. That voice bring shivers to everyone, well accept me (Giggled silently).

A man all in brown came and sat after bubby's permission and they talked. He is looking like he is in his 30s. He is tall and muscular. Ryan and that man has same height. What can I say, My Bubby is giant that's why he sometimes call me 'Shorty'. I pouted after thinking of one incident.

💭 FLASHBACK 💭

         I wake up at 3:30am , as I am feeling hungry cuz Last night, I slept through dinner. Rii tries to wake me up for dinner but I am too tired to even speak, too sleepy to even open my eyes. But now I am hungry.

I take my phone and see it dead. Good, Very Good. I come out of my room and tiptoe to kitchen. I want to eat my favourite chocolate cookies and I know very well where Rii hides it. Jar is on the Top shelf. I huffed. I am hungry and I know he even hides stool. So, I do the most obvious thing that someone could do. I started Jumping, without any noise trying to reach the Jar.

Keyword :- Trying

I jumped once, twice then thrice. But this is too high. My Stomach growls suddenly,

"Aish , Why are you growling ? What if Bubby wakes up ? Ssshhh ! Have a Patience, I will give something to eat now, but just don't gro-"

I cut off by chuckle behind me.

I turn around and see Ryan sitting on one chair of kitchen dining table looking at me while chuckling.

A small scream come through my mouth for a second thinking that he is a ghost.

'But, How did he come here ? Chair is on opposite side of kitchen door. When he come here ? If he is sitting there before I came, then why didn't I noticed him before ? Is he a Alien or Ghost ? No, no, no he is just too childish for a ghost. So that means he is ali-'

Shut up ! I am tired of your ranting. Focus on Ryan, you dumbo.

'For your kind information, you are dumbo, not me. but you are right, I have to focus on Rii now'

"So, What are you doing here, Shorty ?"  Ryan asked with his eyes and voice full of amusement.

'I can't tell him that I am here for eating cookies because he will laugh at me cuz he told me last night that I will be hungry at midnight. But, I denied that time and you know th-  Wait WHAT ?'

'Did he just called me SHORTY ?'

Yupp , Shorty , hahahhaahahaa 😂😂

'Shut up !' 

"Heyy, I am not Shorty, You are Giant."

"Whatever helps you to sleep at night, Shorty." He said laughing.

Before I can reply anything, He asked me with one eyebrow raised.

"Are you hungry, Shorty ?"

Now, I am Angry.

Yaa , Sure (Sarcastic).

I ignored my inner self's sarcasm and focus on him.

"I. AM. NOT. HUNGRY. AND. I AM. NOT. SHORTY. "

I tell him with my glare that can run chills down to everyone.

At least, that's what I thought.

He chuckled.

I glared him more.

He just chuckled more.

'What ?'

I gave him my dangerous death glare.

He chuckled more and more.

I am now trying to glare more but suddenly my stomach growls 'again'.

'Oh ! No'

My face which is full of glares a second ago, is now red due to embarrassment. And Rii's face which is full of chuckles a second ago, is now red due to laughing hard.

"Yaa Sure ! You are not hungry." He said laughing hard.

"Okay, then I will eat these cookies alone" He again said.

Then I noticed, there is plate full of chocolate cookies on table.

My eyes widened.

From the corner of an eye, I can see Ryan smiling and looking at me with full of love.

Then realisation hits me.

'Bubby is here before me with the cookies because he know that I will surely come to eat them. I am shocked. But if he comes before me than why didn't I noticed him, when I come in the kitchen ?'

That's because you are too hungry to notice anyone... ?

'Hmmmm ! I think you are correct'

I am always correct, siss (smirk)

I mentally roll my eyes.

I Look at Ryan.

And clear my throat before speaking.

"Well, you know I am not hungry but as cookies are already served. They will feel bad and sad if I will not eat them"

"Don't worry siss, I am here. I will not let your cookies to feel bad and sad. I will eat them. You are not feeling hungry then you should not force yourself to eat them"

He told me and started eating chocolate cookies sitting on chair infront of me.

My eyes turn into puppy dog eyes and lips into pout.

"Pleaseeeee Bubbbyyyyy" I requested him.

He looked at me amused.

"On one condition" He said.

"Condition accepted, Now give me cookies"

"I didn't even tell you"

"Then tell fast. I am hungry"

"Say first :- Ryan is the best and my favourite Brother in the Whole World and I love him the most"

"You are my only Brother, you dummy" I said and laugh.

I see Ryan stiffened up for a second but I ignored it thinking I am just seeing things because of hunger.

"Just tell" Rii said.

"Ok ! Ryan is the best and my favourite Brother in the whole world and I love him a lottttttttt"

I said widening my arms as much as I can to show him how much I love him.

He grinned like a child who gets his candy after long time.

Aww ! I really love him a lot. He is the best Brother of the World.

"Now Eat" Rii said giving me plate. Now it's my turn to give him grin. I picked one cookie but before I eat, something struck in my mind.

"Did you eat , Ryan ?" I said suddenly becoming serious.

He is taken aback by my sudden serious question.

"No, No, No Ari. I didn't eat single cookie. I swear"

Oh ! So now he is playing.

"Did you ate your dinner , Aryan ?" I asked more sternly this time.

He avoided eye contact and I get my answer.

Tears of guilt form in my eyes. Because of me, he didn't eat anything. I made him sleep empty stomach

Bubby look up and immediately pull me in a hug when he see tears in my eyes. My head is on his chest and his chin is above my head. He wraps his strong arms around me protectively.

"Heyy, I know what you are thinking. Stop thinking that. It's not your fault. I just didn't feel like hungry that time"

He said sternly and calmly rubbing his one hand on my back and other hand on my head.

"Ok ! Let's eat together, alright ?" He asked.

"On one condition" Now it's my turn.

"Condition accepted" He said copying me from last time.

"Listen First" I Whinned.

"Ok Fast , I am hungry." He said.

Deja vu.

"Say first :- I will always take care of my health and I will always love my sister"

"Why I need to take care of my health, when you are there for me..." He said and winked, making me irritated.

"Just tell" I said him annoyingly.

"Ok Ok chill ! I will always take care of my health. And I love you the most twin sister , a lottttttttt"

He said widening his hands just like me from last time. I giggled at his childish nature.

"Now, shall we eat , Boss ?" He asked.

"Yess, Secratary" I said and giggled.

He laughed too.

We both feed each other cookies and talked random stuffs. After our cookies special midnight Dinner, we both go to his room and cuddle. My head is on his chest and his hands wrapped around me.

I am between my both Best friends. One side my Bubby and other side my Tanner.

"Now, when you will hungry at midnight, you will wake me up first" He said.

I nodded as yes. It's not like I am going to wake him up. He works a lot. He needs rest at night. So, I can't wake him up just for cookies but I don't want to argue right now so I just nodded.

"Otherwise, you have to jump again, Shorty "

He said and laughed as I feel his chest viberated.

I pouted.

I came back to present. I look around, realizing the meeting is over and the office is quiet except for Bubby and me. He's grinning, taking pictures with his phone.

"Oh, no," I mutter. He shows me the photos—one with me smiling, one with me pouting, and one where I'm glaring at nothing. He's clearly having a blast capturing my different expressions.

Aish! This kid. 

Even though he's my twin, sometimes he acts like a mischievous little brother. But no matter how much he teases me, I know I wouldn't trade him for anything.
