It had been a long day for the sides and Thomas, Deceit had been an extra pain and Logan wasn't working like he usually was. It was all about how Thomas had lied to his current love interest to seek another man. Patton and Virgil were against the fact they lied, while Roman and Deceit were for the idea, saying that 'Our current partner isn't sparking any joy! I need excitement!' or something. It wasn't until Deceit had left to seek other enjoyment, that the sides had realized Logan was gone. Roman then left to go find him after losing a bet to both Patton and Virgil to go look for him (it was rock paper scissors).

Roman came back saying that he couldn't find Logan and that they should split up to find him, Patton shotgunned the normal area and the unconscious while Roman took the imagination. Which left Virgil with the dark sides area, the others apologized for making him go there but he knew how to get around and everything blah blah blah.

So here was Virgil, roaming the halls of the dark sides. It was surprisingly quiet, normally Remus would be screaming and Deceit would be practicing his evil laugh. But it was silent, other than the light sound of a ukelele?... Virgil roamed deeper into the realm, to everyone's rooms. He passed a door that was covered and blood and random scratches that looked bear-like... Remus's room, Virgil pushed open the door expecting the dirty rat of a man to be in his sewer of a room, but his room was empty and clean, his bed was clean and tidy. His room was completely fixed up. He grumbled in confusion before moving onto the final room.

This door was black with a yellow handle. Deceits. This is where the sound was coming from.

He could also hear voices.

"So sorry you had to deal with Remus so long. I know he's a handful." A sly voice started. Deceit?

There was a quick ' HEY!' from Remus before another voice started. This one was calm and calculated but so full of happiness and emotion.

"It's quite alright Deceit, I ended up teaching Remus some ukelele and he's quite pleasant when you get used to him." It was Logan. Virgil could practically hear Logan's smile.

" You two love acting like I'm not here don't ya?" Remus joked. logan laughed... Logan never laughed and if he did, it was from something Logical or to save Patton's emotions.

" We know you didn't just sit with me and Snake for an hour to chat, what happened?" Remus mumbled, chewing on something.

Logan sighed. "It was a situation about emotions and such, you know how I am with them... Can we just get to.. you know?" Logan continued, he sounds so anxious.

"Ok... Remus?" deceit asked.

Soon a small melody was playing on the ukelele.

"Come on Lo." Deceit mumbled, there was a creak of a floorboard as Deceits and Logans laughter started to fill the rooms.

"Deceit, You suck at dancing!" Logan laughed. Virgil wiped the tears from his eyes, he'd never heard Logan laugh so much, his voice was so lively and so full of emotions.

Singing was then heard.

"Someday

Somehow

You just need to find someone." Deceit sang, his voice was smooth and caring. Of course, it was Steven universe Deceit was a huge Steven Universe nerd. Remus was echoing Deceit lightly.

Then someone else started singing with Deceit. A smooth singing, it was so nice and made Virgil's cold heart melt to piece.

It was logan. Even if Deceit was more powerful vocally, you could still hear Logan's soft voice.

"Someday

Something happened on that line, Remus's door started shifting to one side, and in its place... Logan's door appeared... It's normal white door handle was becoming yellow, then a bright goldish, Virgils heart immediately jumped, he scrambled up to open the door. He started to fiddle with the handle but Deceits door wouldn't move.

"Virgil, sweetie. You've ruined him enough, let us take over." Remus whispered, his back must be against Deceit's door, stopping Virgil from getting in.

"I know I know Remus, I know. We need him, We love him Please stop this." Virgil cried he could feel so many tears falling down his face.

Logan's voice got louder, he was definitely smiling.
"Someone,

Some day ,
Somewhere ,
Somehow,
I'm gonna feel found."

Virgil started slamming on the door, Logic calmed him, made him sane. Without him, everything would go haywire.

Logan's door solidified, all noise stopped (except Virgil's light sobs).
All that was left to fill the void was Logan's voice.
"Today,
Right here.
Right now.
I already feel found." It was soft and full of sadness but joy.

The door clicked open, Virgil jumped back in surprise. Logan stood in the door way, smiling at Virgil. "Come on Virgil, we better be getting back to the others." He smiled. His voice wasn't monotone anymore, it was more like Patton, full of all emotion.

Virgil nodded, and took Logan's outstretched hand. They both walked out of the main darkside corridor.
"Logan, what happened?" Virgil asked, gripping Logan's hand. Logan sighed but still kept his smile.
"A simple room change, nothing bad will happen to Thomas or the others, it can be our little secret." Logan put a playful finger to his lips.
Virgil nodded, his mind still hurt. But a secret isn't so bad. Logan May never sing or smile like that in the presents of the others... but it's fine...

He's fine.
