3rd P.O.V

As the trio returned to the cave as the sun began to set even deeper. A cool warm breeze washed over them.

“Do you think we should wake her”, Bixlow asked once the cave was in sight. 

“Depends”, Laxus answered. 

“Depends on what”

“If there’s any food left”

Bixlow laughed, “Fair point. I’m not very hungry anyway. I think I’m gonna go straight to bed. The demon really worked me today”

“She can’t be that bad”, Laxus joked. Bixlow glared at his blonde friend. 

“SHE...IS...A...DEMON”

Laxus laughed and shook his head, stopping at the mouth of the cave. “Take Lu to bed with you”

“You mean...”, Bixlow trailed off. 

“Take her to your bed, her bed, tuck her in and leave her be or lay with her. I don’t care”, Laxus shrugged, “Just don’t do anything”

“Dude”, Bixlow exclaimed, “Who do you think I am”

“A pervert”, Laxus answered casually. 

“Fuck you Laxus”

“Nah, you’re not my type”

Bixlow growled and stormed off. 

“He better not be your type”, Freed said walking out of the shadows. 

“Don’t worry he isn’t”, Laxus smiled walking over to his mate, “My type has green hair, teal eyes, and uses rune magic”

“It’s been a long day”, Freed stated, looking up at the blonde. Laxus hummed and wrapped his arms around the green-haired man. 

“Bed”, Freed asked. 

“Yeah but first I just...”, Laxus trailed off. 

“Just what”

Laxus smiled and shook his head. 

“Laxus”, Freed warned, playing with Laxus’ hair. 

Laxus leaned down and kissed Freed. Laxus slowly pushed Freed backwards until his back hit the cave’s wall. Slowly the two pulled away from each other. 

“Now bed”, Freed asked. 

“Yeah, bed sounds good. I swear Thunder was going to kill me”

“I still don’t like him”, Freed grumbled. 

“Aww”, Laxus cooed, “Is Mr. Justine jealous”

“Yes I am”

Laxus rolled his eyes and kissed Freed’s temple. 

“I love you Freed, and only you”

“I love you too”

{Morning}

The first thing Lucy felt when she woke up was the warm embrace of being cuddled by Bixlow. She smiled fondly and slowly she wiggled her way out of his grip. 

“Morning Lucy”

“Wha- oh good morning Ever”, Lucy smiled, “You to Em, Jay”

“Mhm, you haven’t called me that in a long time”, S.J smiled, sitting backwards in the kitchen chair. 

“That’s because I haven’t seen you in a long time”, Lucy said, walking towards her cousin. 

 “But you know why”, Em asked, “Right Rose” 

“Yeah, course I do Mil”

“Jay, Rose, Mil”, Evergreen asked, “Where did you guys get the nicknames from”

“Our middle names”, Em answered, setting another plate down on the table.

“You’re middle names”, Ever questioned, moving around the eggs around. 

“Yeah, Jayne, Rose, and Amelia”, Em respond sitting next to her sister. 

“Hey Ever, what is your middle name”, Lucy asked the brunette.

“I don’t know”, Evergreen shrugged sadly. 

“What do you mean you don’t kow”, Em asked, her green eyes wide with curiosity. 

“Exacly that”, Ever said, “I don’t know. I lost my memory years ago”

“How”, This time it was S.J, asking. 

“I dont remember. I think I tripped and fell, hitting my head maybe. I just remember running, but I can’t remember from what”

“You were running from the monster the three of us were after”, Laxus’ voice chimed in.

The four girls turned there heads to see Freed, Laxus, and Bixlow now awake. 

“Oh yeah, I remember that job”, Bix said, walked over and sitting next to Lucy, “It was the first job that Freed ever did”

“I remember that to”, Freed said, taking a seat next to Bix, “I had just joined the guild. I wanted to go on a job but Master said I wasn’t ready for a solo job yet”

“That’s when he suggested we go along, Bixlow and I were sorta already a team”, Laxus nodded, continuing on with the story. 

“Yeah, the job was tracking down this monster. It had a big reward for it”, Bix continued, “We were following it’s foot steps when we heard screaming”

“Turns out it was Ever, she tripped on a tree branch and hit her head”

“I remember that part. I remeber that you were the one who helped me while Bix and Laxus fought the ugly beast”, Ever said, smiling at Freed. 

“Yes, I remember the last thing you said to me before you passed out”

“What did she say”, Em asked, slighly bouncing in her seat. 

“She said, ‘The names Evergreen by the way’”, Freed replied, “A few seconds later she passed out cold”

“Oh god, I remeber he freaked out because he though she had died on him”, Bixlow laughed. Freed glared at his friend while Laxus tried not to along with him. 

“Anyway”, Freed said, getting back on the topic, “We took her to the closest doctor. Unfortunately he said that the wouds she had were to severe for him to treat”

“That’s why I made the decison to bring her back to the guild. Then Porlyusica could treat her”, Laxus continued on. 

“Yeah, she woke up only remembering her age and first name”

“And that I knew some magic”, Ever added. 

“Yeah that to”

“So you don’t remeber anything about your past”, S.J asked. Ever shook her head and smiled. 

“No, I remeber something. Most of them I’m not fond of. I guess I must have been running away from the small amount of memories I do have”

“I’m sorry Ever”, Em sniffled. 

“Don’t worry about it”, Ever smiled, “We need to eat so we can watch Lucy open Igneel’s gate”

“Alright, let’s wake up the other then”, S.J said, jumping outta her chair.
