Lucy’s P.O.V

“Lushe”

“Yes Happy”

“Why do you have that creepy grin on your face”, he asked innocently. 

“Shut up you stupid cat”, I scream, reaching out to hit the dumb blue furball. 

“Now, now Lucy, be nice”, my brother scolded me playfully. 

“You should shut up to”, I spat.

“Hey Lucy”, Bix called, “What’s this”

“What’s what”, I asked, turning around to see something dangling from his hand. 

“This”, he said, hold it up higher. 

I leaned closer, squinting my eyes. I gasped as I realized what Bixlow was holding. I ran over to him and snatching the necklace out of his hand.

  “Isn't that Gray's necklace”, Evergreen asked.

“Yeah it is”,  I replied, smiling fondly at the piece of jewelry in my hand.

“Why do you have it”,  Laxus asked. 

“Because he gave it to me”

 “I figured that much but why did he give it to you”, Laxus growled. 

“He gave it to me a month after Lisanna return. He said that even if everyone turned their backs on me I will always have him. And as a reminder that he'll always be here for me he gave me his necklace”, I explained, “He’s like a big brother to me”

“Aw that’s so sweet”, Ever and Em cooed.

“Yeah, I guess”, I shrugged, pulling the necklace over my head. 

“Now that all this nonsense is over you should start your training. Slacking off will get you nowhere”, Ravena’s sharp voice scolded. 

“Yes ma’am”

{Lucy and Cosmos}

“So Lu, you and Bixlow huh”, the dragon asked. 

“Yes. I listened to your advice and took a chance. Now, can we focus on training please”

“Sure, but answer me one question”

“Sure, ask away”

“Why are you so focused on getting stronger”, Cosmos asked. 

“Well, honestly at first I wanted to be strong enough to beat the living shit out of Natsu. But now, I want to do it for myself. To prove I’m no longer the weak damsel in distress. To be able to fight alongside those I care about”, I explained. Cosmos smiled at me and nodded. 

“Alright then. Now sit down and close your eyes”

I sat down where I was standing. I felt the grass move around me, I could hear the trees sway in the light breeze, I could smell Cosmos as she walked around me. I felt th sun as it moved acrossed the sky.

“Can you feel the magic being pulled towards you”, Cosmos asked after a couple of hours.  

“Yes”

“Good, now concentrate on that feeling. Let it pull you. You should see a light”

“I can see the light”

“Wonderful. What color is it”, Cosmos asked excitedly

“The center of it is blue, then it fades into purple then into pink”, I explained.

“Th- that’s unheard of”, Cosmos stuttered. 

“What do you mean”, I asked, opening my eyes, noticing how it was begining to get dark. 

“I mean that no one has ever had a multi colored spirit”, she explained, her eyes wide. 

“Multi colored spirit”, I asked. 

“Everyone’s spirit is a color -  Bixlow should be about to see that - and no one in recorded history has every had a spirit with multiple colors”

“No one in recorded history”, I asked. 

“Yeah, though there where rumors saying a man had a multi colored spirit about 50 years go”, Cosmos nodded, looking up at the sky. 

“Did anyone ever caught his name”, I asked, turly curious. 

“I know his name”, said a voice behind me. 

“BIXLOW”, Cosmos bellowed, “You gave me a heart attack”

“Oops, sorry”, he chuckled, “I just wanted to see the cheerleader”

“Don’t you have training with the demon”, I scoffed. 

“No, we finished a while ago”, he said, sitting down next to me. 

“Right. Anyway you said you know the guys name”

“What guy”, he asked, completly confused. 

“The guy who has a muliti colored spirit”, I said, smacking him as hard as I can in the chest. 

“Ohhhh, that guy”

“Yes! Now what’s his name”

“You already know his name”, Bixlow said, laying flat on the ground. 

“What”, I asked, “What do you mean”

“Your grandfather”, he chuckled. 

“Gramps?”

“Yep, his spirit colors go from gold to bright red”

“Lucy must have inherited the unique trait from Makarov”, Cosmos said. 

“Most likely”, I said, looking at Cosmos, “I am his granddaughter”

“It still kinda hard to believe”, Bixlow said, sitting back up. 

“What do you mean”, I asked, looking at Bix. 

“That your Master’s granddaughter”, he said, “I mean Makarov Dreyar, 3rd guild master of Fairy Tail, and a wizard saint”

“Oh my God”, I groaned, “can you not”

“What’s wrong Lu”

“What do you mean ‘what’s wrong’”, I asked, rolling my eyes, “Bixlow just had to go and remind me of all my grandfather’s titles. There are tme I feel like I’m failing him as a wizard. Maybe Natsu was r-”

“LUCY IF YOU FINISH THAT SENTENCE I WILL THROW YOU IN THE LAKE-POND”, Bixlow yelled. 

“Okay, okay”, Cosmos said, rubbing her ears, “No need to scream”

“WHAT”S GOING ON”, Laxus yelled as he ran through the trees into the clearing. 

'Where did he come from', I thought.

“What did I just say”, Cosmos muttered. I giggled as she covered her face with her hands. 

“What’s going on is your sister is doubting herself”, Bixlow said, getting up and walking over to my brother. 

“Blondie”, he said slowly, “Is this true”

“Maybe”, I replied. 

“Lucy”, he said more harshly. 

“A little bit”, I finally admited. 

“But why”, it was Bixlow who spoke. 

“Honestly I don’t know”, I sniffled. 

“Awe, come here Lulu”, Laxus cooed, opening his arms. 

I got up and walked over to my older brother and wrapped my arms around his torso. 

“It’s okay Lu”, he said softly, “Let’s get you back to the cave. It’s already dinner time”

I nodded against his chest. 

“Are you okay to walk”, Bixlow asked. I slowly lifted my head from Laxus’ chest and shook my head. 

“Want me to carry you”, he asked. I nodded and unwrapped my arms from Laxus. 

Bixlow walked over and bend down, placing his hand behind my knees and leting my fall back onto his other awaiting hand. 

“Don’t drop her”, was he last thing I heard before I fell asleep.
