3rd P.O.V

The group of 7 walked upstairs and to the master’s office. Loke raised his hand, ready to knock when Wendy let out a sharp gasp. 

“What is it Wendy”, Mira asked. 

“Lily and Carla”, Wendy responded, “We can’t forget about them”

“Don’t worry child”, said a voice from behind Wendy. 

Six heads turned to see Lily sitting on Gajeel’s head and Carla on his shoulder. 

“I wasn’t worried”, Wendy argued, “I just wanted to make sure you were here”

Carla smiled at the little girl. 

“Can I knock now”, Loke asked. 

“You can come in”, said Gramps as he opened his office door. 

“Hey Master”, Loke greeted.

“Loke, my boy”, Gramps said happily, “What brings you here”

“Lucy”

“Oh dear is she alright”, Gramps asked worried.

“Yeah she’s fine”, Loke assured the old man, “She just wanted me to tell everyone how she’s doing”

“Alright them, come in”

Gramps sat on the desk with Loke next to him leaning on the dark wood. Wendy sat between Gajeel and Gray on the couch. Levy sat on the arm rest next to Gajeel with Lily in her lap and Juvia took a seat in the chair next to Gray. Mira simple stood on the other side of Gramps. 

“So how is the bunny”, Gajeel asked, breaking the silence. Levy rolled her eyes. ‘Honestly I give up’, she thought. 

“Lucy is doing just fine. She found the dragon keeps and has been training with the dragons”

“DRAGONS”, Gray, Juvia, Levy and Mira yelled. 

“Yeah. She also found her younger cousins and Ripley, the water dragon, restored Laxus’ memories. She’s-”

“Loke before you say anymore”, Wendy interupted, “Levy could you put up a sound barier around this room”

“Sure, but why”, Levy asked. 

“Natsu is listening in from on the other side”, Wendy whispered, just loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. Levy nodded and with in a matter of seconds the master’s office lit up purple. 

“Where’s ya learn to do that”, Gajeel asked as Levy took her seat next to him. 

“Freed’s been teaching me some things”, she answered, “anyway tell us more about Lu”

“Oh, right. Well let’s see. She opened the gates of the water, lightning, blood and celestial dragon do far. Either today of tomorrow she is going to open a gate for Igneel”

“What”, Gajeel asked. 

“Yeah, she also has Metalicana and Grandeeney”,

“Hey Wendy, you knew about the dragon keys didn’t you”, Gray said. All eyes turned to the little dragon slayer. 

“Yeah I did”, Wendy comfermed, “But I promised not to say anything because she wanted to surprise us - Gajeel, Natsu and I - on the day they left”

“How long did she have the keys”, Gramps asked. 

“I don’t know”, Wendy shrugged sadly. 

“It’s okay Wendy”, Gray said, rubbing the little girls head. 

“The more important question is why is she opening Igneel’s gate”, Gajeel said. Everyone nodded in agreement, looking at the lion spirit for an answer. 

“Remember when I said she’s working on a somewhat funny plan”, Loke asked, everyone nodded,”Well she’s going to ask Igneel to teach Happy fire dragon slayer magic”

For a full four minutes the master’s office was dead silent. Not even the sound of breathing could be heared. 

“SAY WHAT”, everyone yelled. 

“Siriusly guys”, Loke said, “imagine it. Happy is going to come back - he’s also learning transfermation magic - and he smells like Igneel. Natsu is going to want to fight him. Then after the fight - regaurdless if Happy wins - he’ll turn back into an exceed. Imagine Natsu face when he find out he just fought his best friend”

“That is bloody brilliant”, Gajeel whispered. 

”Exactly”

“Hey Loke, you mentioned she found her cousins”, Gray pointed out. 

“That I did”, Loke nodded, “S.J,third gen blood dragon slayer. Em, the water dragon slayer”

“Blood dragon”, Wendy asked. 

“Yeah, Ravena - the blood dragon - is also teaching Bixlow”, Loke said, rolling his eyes. 

“What’s with the adittude”, Gray asked. 

“Nothing it’s just - I just hope Ravena tells Bixlow about the mate thing”, Loke sighed.

“Mate thing”, Levy asked. 

“Yeah, all dragon slayers have mates”, Gajeel answered. 

“How do you know if a person is your mate”, Juvia asked. 

“There sent”, Wendy answered. 

“Do the two of you know who your mates are”, Gramps asked. 

“Yes”, Gajeel answered. 

“I think so. I’m not 100% sure”, said Wendy. 

“How are you not sure”, Gajeel asked, turing to the little blue dragon. 

“I mean, well I don’t know what I mean”, Wendy cried, hidding her face in her hands, “Maybe I don’t have a mate”

“Come on kid”, Gajeel said, wrapping one of his arms around the small girls shoulders, “All dragon slayers have mates. Maybe you’re not sure because you’re still pretty young”

“Do you think so”, Wendy asked, her voice small and fraile. 

“Yes I do”

“Who’s your mate then Gaj”, Wendy asked. Gajeel’s face turned cherry red. 

“Well- that, I mean- it’s not. No one”, Gajeel stuttered. Mira snickered, she had an idea on who it was. 

“Well Gajeel, as rules of the guild you do have to tell me, as do you Wendy”, Gramps said. 

“Ya, I know”, Gajeel grumbled. 

“Well then, why don’t you children go back down stairs while I talk to these two”, Gramps suggested. Everyone nodded and one by one went out the door. 

“I’ll be back”, Loke said as he walked out the door, closing it behnd him. 

“Now”, Gramps said smiling, “mates”

“Really old man”, Gajeel asked. 

“Yes”

“Fine, its the shrimp”

“Shrimp”, Gramps asked. 

“He means Levy”, Wendy answered, “and Gray owes me 100 Jewel”

“Levy hmh”, Gramps asked.

“Yes now shut up”, Gajeel grumbled. 

“Alright, how about you Wendy”

“Well it’s um”, Wendy stuttered, “Romeo”

“Romeo”, Gramps asked, “As in Macao’s son”

Wendy just shyly nodded. 

{Back at the cave}

“Are you done fighting”, S.J bellowed. She was getting tired of the bickering going on. 

“No”

“Yes”

“For now”

“Yu three”, Freed said, shaking his head, “shut up, sit dow, AND EAT YOU BREAKFAST”

“No need to yell Freed”, Laxus said as he wrapped his arms around the green haired man. 

“Laxus”

“Yes”

“Sit down, shut up, and eat”

“Hmph, fine”

“Now, let’s enjoy my and Em’s hard worked breakfast”

“Yes sir”

Lucy smiled at th sight in front of her. As much as she hated Natsu for hurting her, she was also thankful he caused the situation she was in now. ‘I wouldn’t change a thing’, she thought.
