Freed's P.O.V

"What's wrong Freed", Laxus asked, his voice dripping with command. How was I supposed to say that he was what's wrong? How was I supposed to say you just crushed my heart?

"Do you really want to know", I asked.

"I asked didn't I", Laxus replied. I decided to tell him exactly like it is.

"You're what's wrong", I said plainly. Laxus' eyes widened.

"What, how?", he asked.

"Because I'm in love you Laxus, I always have been"

Laxus P.O.V

He, loves me? I gotta be dreaming.

"Laxus", Freed asked. His voice shaking. I looked at him.

"Your kidding right", I asked. Freed looked shocked, hurt was clear in his eyes.

"I knew it wasn't going to happen", he muttered. He started to walk away. I still stood there, still in shock at his confession. I heard sniffling. I snapped out of my trance. Shit.

"Freed", I called, but he continued talking out of the cave. Well, he probably thinks I don't like him. Fucking shit I just screwed up.

I ran after him, catching his wrist and pulling him into a hug.

"Let me go Laxus", he said coldly. Oh god, I just crushed him.

"Never"

"Laxus let me go", Freed said, trying to get out of my grip. I looked down at him.

"Freed look at me", I said. Free shook his head. Getting slightly annoyed I pushed him against the wall of the cave.

I wrapped my left arm around his waist, keeping him pinned between me and the wall. Using my right hand I cupped his cheek.

"Freed look at me", I said, in a softer tone this time. Freed looked up. I could tell he was slightly confused.

"What Laxus", he asked, "What more do you want-"

"Freed, I love you too", I interrupted.

"Wh-what", Freed stuttered. I smiled down at him.

"I love you too Freed"

"Laxus please, don't do this", Freed pleaded, "don't mess with me"

"I'm not. I love you Freed. I love your eyes, your smile, you absolute devotion", I said, "Need I continue?"

Freed shook his head. Even though I could feel him smile. I dropped my hand from his cheek and wrapped it around his waist.

"Freed"

He looked up at me. Not wanting to waste any more time, I leaned down and kissed him.

His lips felt soft against my own. I leaned in farther, deepening the kiss. Freed wrapped his arms around my neck, pulling our bodies closer together. I tighten my grip on Freed's waist, pushing him against the wall of the cave. Freed hummed happily. Slowing, lingering I pulled away.

"Stupid oxygen", Freed muttered. I let out a laugh.

"Got that right"

Freed hummed again, resting his head against my shoulder. His arms still wrapped around my neck. One of his hands played with my hair.

"That feels good", I hummed. Freed listed his head from by shoulder tilting his head. Oh god, he looks cute like that. "You playing with my hair, it feels good"

Freed smile, pushing on my head he pulled me into another kiss.

After pulling away Freed went back to his earlier position.

"Freed", I asked, he hummed not looking up. "Be mine?"

His hands stopped moving. He pulled away slowing.

"What", he asked. His visable eye widened

"Be mine", I asked again. He smiled and kissed me again.

"Yes"

I pulled him against me, holding him close. Weather I wanted to admit it or not, I always worried I'd lose him to someone else.

"I love you Freed"

"I love you to Laxus"

Smiling at him, I kissed him for the last time today.
