"Aaah!"I heard someone scream from my room while trying to finish my trig homework.I rushed downstairs thinking someone was in trouble."Whats wrong Kaylan?"I asked as i entered the living room.

"Jason won best actor. again."she squealed.Meet Kaylan Steward,my elder sister.I am Amanda Steward an average highschooler.Living with my mom and my sister.My dad died 5 years ago.It was the worst experience ever.

"Seriously,Kaylan? You had to disturb everyone in the house just because some stupid actor won some stupid award." I said definitely angry for the unnecessary disturbance.

"Point of correction lil sis.Jason Sawyer is not stupid was voted hottest guy this year.

"Who care?" I groaned and made my way back to my room.I really dont see whats so nice about Jason guy that all the teenage girls are always daydreaming about.Its like i am the only teenager that hasnt been affected by the Jason virus.Kaylan has been obsessed with him since she was 12. So is my best friend Katrina.

"Hey Kat" i said through the phone as i anwered the ring

"hey Mandy.What are you doing?"

"The trig homework Mr Owen gave us.". "come on Amanda that assignment is not even due till nextweek.". "The earlier the better" I just love maths.

"Guess what? Jason won best actor again this year.itsnt it amazing" she said.

"Yipee good for him" i said sarcastically. "You know i dont get why you him so much.i mean he isnt just hot. hes talented."

"hes also rude and so full of himself.i cant stand guys like that"

"Hes a star what do you expect?"

Mandy!! dinner is ready"Kaylan shouted from downstairs.

"coming!" i shouted.

"You know Mandy the next time you wanna shout and you're on the phone try pulling it from your ears.cos you can cause deafness."

"I ll keep that in mind. see you tomorrow. bye"

Kat picked me up the next day like shes been doing since forever.Since my sister is always late for school.We entered the school to see girls talking. and shouting about something i dont even know.I pass by a bunch of cheerleaders and i heard them talkin about how cute Jason look at the movie awards.i just rolled my eyes and walked pass them.Why cant they all get a life.I could also see they were happy about something.

"Whats everyone buzzing about?"i asked Kat when we reached our lockers.it was close to eachother.

"Ok so i wasnt going to say anything but since you asked i ll tell you.After the movie awards"she began.i knew where this was going but i didnt stop her."the paparazi caught Jason and his girlfriend quarelling.They broke up which means hes single now and available" she said patting her eyelash as she said the last word.

"Oh you girls should just grow up.He doesnt even know you people exist."

"Not for long"

"Meaning"

"because hes coming here today cos hes shooting his new movie here"

"Here as in this town?!"

"Yep" i could see she was really excited.ive been friends with her since first grade but i still dont get her sometimes.i got some books and headed for my first lesson.

"Wanna hang out after school?"Kat asked me doing lunch.

"I have to go to the library to finish my project work"

"ok.Have you heard that Laurell broke up with Brad?"

"No and i dont care about some cheerleader and her jock boyfriend.Besides all Laurell's done is make my life a living hell.I dont even know what i did to her"

"Are you kidding me? shes always second to you for like two years now.She used to be the best student before you finally got serious"

"I dont even get her she s pretty and everything. im even surprised to see a smart cheerleader."

The rest of the day was good except for the fact that Laurel triped and i fell on my butt me while i was sharing the test sheets. i headed for the public library after school.

"Hello Margret!" i said to the librarian.

"hey Amanda. its been long.how have you been?"

"Great. just came here to do some school work.i ll just get to it"i said and excused my self.i just love the library theres always some new to learn.When was done with my biology project about sickle cell anemia.i decided to borrow a novel.I saw a guy in a hood sitting at the novel section.There was something spooky about him.I went closer picked a book and left without a second glance at him.As i was nearing the librarian i realized i left my bag and went back for it.I saw it and was heading for the door.I wasnt looking before i knew it i bumped into someone and i found my worksheet flying about.

"Watch where you re going" i snaped and bent down to pick up my papers.The hooded guy took off his hood.Guess who it was.......JASON SAWYER
