~Next day
I'm sunning on a sunbed at the pool.
My guys are in the pool, acting like little kids. Who knew they'd turn into teenagers once they're in a pool?
Aaron is drowning Owen and Jordan and Ethan are having some water fight. Elijah is swimming laps and pulling swimming trunks down the second he can. Nope. I'm staying safe right here. I can't move too much though, because if I do, my ass will tell me to lie the fuck still.
I put my sunglasses back on my nose and close my eyes, smiling as I feel the sun on my skin. I could easily do this all summer. Picnics and sunning with my guys, it's just the perfect way to spend time.
We're going on a picnic at seven, because the sun is starting to set then. I can't wait! I already have a pretty dress ready.
Suddenly, a large amount of water drops fall down on me. I gasp and sit up, my jaw dropped in a startle. I look up over my sunglasses, seeing all of them laughing. Aaron winks at me and I glare at him. "I was sunning!"
He shrugs and leans on the border of the pool, still throwing smaller amounts of water on me. I hide myself for them, but it's hopeless.
"Why would you do such a thing? Now I'm wet," I pout. Ethan chuckles in himself and shakes his head. I roll my eyes.
"C'mon, sunbeam. We don't have a pool to lie down next to it," he grins and extends an arm. I sigh and put my sunglasses on the table next to me. I get up and walk to the edge of the pool. "Yes?"
He takes my hands in mine and lifts me in the pool. My eyes widen. Maybe he's not the least strongest... I don't know who is, then.
The water isn't cold like I expected, but is warmed by the sun. I smile and float a bit until I pass by Elijah. He grins and cocks an eyebrow. My eyes widen and I try to quickly swim away, but he's already got my waist. I groan. His smirks or grins are never a good sign. I realized that yesterday, a bit too late.
He picks me up and lifts me, far above his head. I squeal. "Elijah! Put me down!" I wiggle a bit, but if I move too much I'll fall. He grins and throws me away. "As you'd like, sweetheart."
I scream while flying through the air. I land in the water with a big splash, right next to Jordan. He quickly pulls me back above water. I scowl at Elijah, who's on the other side of the pool. "I hate you." He pouts, "Do you, though?"
Jordan picks me up too. I widen my eyes and clamp myself to him. "Not you too! Gosh, it's always in your family," I groan. He cock an eyebrow. "Excuse you?"
He throws me away too. I shut my eyes and curl up, determined to make a big splash. If I'm getting thrown around, they get wet hair. I float back above the water and quickly swim away from Ethan's smirk.
I look over my shoulder to see he's not following me, but crush into someone else. I look up with wide eyes. Aaron.
"Hey, sunbeam. Are you having fun?" He smirks. I shake my head, but he throws me over his shoulder. I punch his back and it works. He lets go of me.
I slide down his back in the water, my mouth open with a squeal that never gets out. I shake my head as I swim away under water. Assholes.
I feel the wall of the pool and lift myself out of it, sitting down on the edge. I wance at my purple ass, something I'm still not quite happy with. I see Owen swimming towards me and pull my legs back out of the pool. But he just smiles at me and lifts himself out it too.
I smile when he sits down next to me and doesn't do anything. He just looks around and I snuggle into his side. "Hey, darling. Excited for the picnic?" he asks and lazily wraps an arm around my waist.
I nod. "I'm wearing a pink dress and all of you have to match with me, so wear a pink shirt," I tell him. He looks at me with big eyes. "Pink? I don't even have pink in my closet!"
I shrug. "Go buy something." He rolls his eyes and lies back on the ground, his feet still in the pool. I mirror his movements and look up at the blue sky. There are no clouds.
"I can bring your panties?" he grins. I blush and shake my head. "White will fit too..." He chuckles and rolls over to kiss my cheek. "I think I'm gonna go with pink anyway."
And he stands up and dives back into the pool.
I attempt to stand up too, to make something for Ethan because I know he doesn't have anything white or pink, but I can't.
My ass hurts too much. I frown in frustration and roll onto my stomach, then crawl on my knees and eventually get up. When I look behind me, I see Elijah smiling at me.
I shoot him a glare and walk inside. I still don't know anytjing about Ethan's outfits, but it's only fair I give him something nice too.
Inside, I jump on my bed with my kit in my hands and start braiding a pink and white bracelet. I smile at it. It's cute, but it doesn't really bring questions. Maybe he could wear it all the time? I surely will wear his outfits!
The door opens behind me, but I don't pay attention. It's one of the guys anyway, so it doesn't matter.
When I hear chuckling behind me after a few seconds of silence, I do look behind me. I widen my eyes.
"Damn, they did you rough last night," Dante grins. I quickly hide my in-bikini-covored body and glare at him.
"Ever heard about knocking?" I snap. He chuckles. "Oh, they knocked you."
I roll my eyes. "What do you want, Frenchini?" He opens his mouth to talk, but sighs at his name.
"I wanted to ask you something. So, imagine a certain girl asked you out. You've been crushing on that girl since a long time and you're scared to fuck it up. What do you do?"
I squeal. "Did you meet someone?" He points his finger at me and narrows his eyes. "I said imagine."
I chuckle. Suddenly, my eyes widen in realization. This sounds exactly like Dylan and Dallas!
"What I'd do... I'd tell my only friend every single detail because she can't know how you can fuck up when she doesn't know who it is."
He sighs and hides his face in his hands. "Marylyn."
My jaw drops. "Ice cream shop Marylyn? Oh my God!"
He groans. "Instant regret." I give him a smiling shrug. "But, since I go there so often, I've talked a lot with her. So at least you're getting advice."
"I figured. Now tell me what I do, because I have no idea."
I hum and think about it. "Marylyn isn't the romantic type of girl. She likes adventurous things," I tell him. He nods. "I know. That's what attracted me in the first place."
I hum again. "Why don't you go paintballing with her? She'll love that," I smile. His eyes widen. "Are you crazy? That shit hurts! I did it with Owen once, never again!"
I roll my eyes. "Well, you know Owen. He probably cheated." I roll my eyes. Dante chuckles. "and by the way, you have to give up something for her. And if she wants that, then you'll give up that sweet, soft baby skin," I tease.
He glares at me. "I can't help it!" I purse my lips and nod. "Sure."
He groans, rolls his eyes and walks out of my room. I grin and shrug, turning around again to work further on the bracelet. It's becoming very pretty!
I hum a song, happy. I'm excited for the picnic. I always loved picnics, but now with them, it'll be the best.
The door opens again and I quickly hide, but smile when it's Owen. "Hey, cutie! Whatcha doing?" He shrugs and sheepishly smiles, coming up behind me. He lies down next to me and cuddles into my side.
I'd love it if it wasn't so all of sudden, like something's wrong. "What's wrong, sweetie? You're acting out," I whisper. He shrugs and kisses my cheek. "What are you making?"
He's ignoring the question. I doubt for a second. Maybe there's something big going on and his mind's dark again, but I trust him enough to tell me. So, I smile. "It's a bracelet for Ethan! He doesn't have anything matching with me, so the colors. And he gives me outfits, so I must give him a present too!" I cheer.
He starts laughing. "I don't know if you'll be happy with those outfits, darling. But the bracelet is nice," he winks. I frown confused. Huh?
"I came to tell you something. Remember yesterday?" I roll my eyes. Duh. He chuckles. "Well, it refreshed your strikes. So you're on zero again, but just know something likes that happens when you hit three."
I gulp and nod, eyes wide. I'm glad the strikes are refreshed, because they count almost everything as a strike and I can't handle that again.
"No go dress up for the picnic, darling." He smiles at me before leaving the room. The door softly closes and I yelp in excitement. I hop to my drawer, where I've laid my pretty dress. Ethan's bracelet is kinda done, it'll do. I can always make it better later.
I let my hair loose and dress up. I head for the foor, but remember Ethan's bracelet and quickly yank it from my bed.
I hop to the hallway, where they all are standing ready and nicely dressed. I giggle at Elijah's pink shorts, but he cocks an eyebrow. I hide my smile and look at the others. Owen is wearing a white shirt. Aaron has pink sunglasses, which he stole.
"You'll give those back, right?" I sweetly ask. He grins and points at the sunglasses. "These? Nah uh! Don't you think I look good with heart-sunglasses?"
I giggle and nod. I see Ethan leaning against the wall. "Sorry, princess. I don't have anything white or pink," he tells me. I glance at his shorts and shirt, which are all light green. Hm, the pink won't go with that.
Too bad for him!
"I made you something that matches," I smile and tie the bracelet to his wrist. He blinks at it, then slowly looks up at me. A grin breaks through. "Such a cutie," he smiles and gives me a peck. I blush.
I turn to Jordan and my jaw drops. He's not wearing pink, nor is he wearing white! I gasp and point at his shirt. "I laid a white one on your bed! You better change, right now!"
He rolls his eyes. "Baby, is it really that important?" "Yes."
He sighs, but obeys me and runs to his room. A few minutes later, he's back and dressed in the white shirt I gave him. Elijah stiffles a laugh. "It looks nice," I exclaim and take Jordan's hand in mine.
"I look like clown," he tells me. I shake my head and giggle. "Maybe you do, but you love me so you have to endure it."
He grins. "You're so lucky I love you." I nod and get in the car. Small clouds are in the sky, but they're petite and cute. Maybe we can see if there are any figures in them?
That'd be nice. Ethan drives us to a field with pretty flowers. I smile and yelp, happy this is happening. Aaron shoots me a glance. "You okay?"
I giggle and nod. Nothing can ruin my good mood!
We get out and I see Elijah's car behind us, with him and Jordan in it. I smile and wave at them. "ahw, look at them. The two brothers," I sigh happily. Owen looks at me with wide eyes.
"Picnics make you act weird." I walk over to him and flick his head. He laughs and shields his head. "Okay, sorry! Sorry!"
I nod and spread the blanket. I lie down on it and look up at the sky. Owen joins me, our heads tucked together. I hear Aaron chuckle, but a few moments later, he joins too.
Ethan's head appears above ours. "What are you doing?" he frowns. I wave my hand in his face, making him go away. He sighs and lies down next to us, propping his head between ours.
"We're searching figures in the clouds," I explain. "Oh, is that what we're doing?" Aaron grins. I nudge his side and hear a small humpf from his direction, but he doesn't say anything.
Jordan and Elijah join us, and it must be a very weird sight. Five grown men with one small girl between them, looking up at the pretty colored sky and pointing at funny clouds.
It must be weird for those who don't understand our love.
But Jordan's hand finds mine, making me smile broadly. And suddenly, I don't care about people who don't understand us.
Because I do, and it's perfect.
