"Agent Scarlet Wall, has defended not only this country, but the entire world...throughout her entire life. From the Battle of New York, to last years' events in Sokovia, she has proven her worth. I am sorry to announce to the world that she has died at such a young age. She worked her way up through the ranks at S.H.I.E.L.D, and has been one of earths mightiest heroes for years.

We will honor her death with a statue in Central Park, it will be revealed tomorrow at noon, the Avengers will be there to say one last goodbye. Thank you now a speech from Captain Rogers," The President of the United States addressed, I had finally stopped crying, I still can't believe she's gone.

Steve patted my back before standing up and walking over to the microphone. Natasha took Steve's place next to me and was rubbing circles on my back. Steve looked at her casket before looking around at the rest of the team, and the people here.

"Scarlet was one of my closest friends, since the day we met, she is-was, she was, she was dedicated and we just connected, we understood each other and she helped me find my best friend. Scarlet never asked any questions, she trusted in people and she trusted in this team. And the one job we had was to protect her, and we couldn't even do that. We let her down and I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Steve mumbled and Tony walked up and hugged Steve

I looked down at my hands and started playing with them. I wanted her back, she's been gone for five days. I haven't slept, I can't eat, today was the first time I had showered.

The ceremony was a blur, I was crying constantly, I couldn't help it. There were too many things I needed to tell her that I didn't when she was dying, there were too many things I should've done and said.

Once the ceremony was over we all were squeezed into a limo, no one was talking, we were all completely silent and I was only thinking about her.

I couldn't speak at her funeral I knew I would cry and everyone already knew how I felt about her so there was no point. She knew I loved her and everyone else here knew it to.

The limo came to a stop and everyone got out, we were back at the Tower. "Bucky, we're going to go out to dinner together, you should come with us..." Natasha said and I shook my head. "I'm going to sleep." I mumbled and she nodded. "Alright, call us if you need anything." She smiled and patted my back.

I walked to the elevator and the ride was completely silent. Once the door opened, I walked down the hallway, my head hanging low and my hair was swaying with every step I took.

Third Person Point of View:

Bucky's head was hanging low, he didn't care about anything. All Hydra had put him through was nothing compared to the pain he was feeling now, the loss of his loved one.

He stopped in front of her bedroom door, debating on whether or not he should open it. He decided to go in anyways, he opened the door and inhaled her smell, it put a small smile on his face. He hadn't smiled in days now.

He closed the door, then looked around, a change of his own clothes were on the end of her bed from the last night he had slept in here. He never noticed how many pictures she had on the wall. There were a lot of her with Natasha and Steve and Sam, they were all very close before Bucky showed up.

He noticed right by her bedside, there was a picture of Bucky and her laughing and they didn't even see the camera. Bucky grabbed the picture and noticed a tear fell from his eyes and onto the glass frame.

He looked a another picture of the whole team, Bucky was the only one not looking at the camera, he was smiling at Scarlet. That's when he knew he loved her.
