I decided to walk home alone. Jordan takes the bus to my house, but he never walks. I slouch all the way home, but I meet someone who I least expected. Landon Walker. He came to me," Er- hi, Kalyn! I was wondering if- if you'd like to- uh- go on a date with me?" I stood there petrified. He blushed and rubbed the back of his neck," I mean- if you don't want to- I understand-" I cut him off," No! I mean- sure, I'll go on a date with you." He smiled," Uh- How about Saturday night at Brianna's Cafe'?" I nod and hurry off. I look back quickly and see him dumbstruck. I chuckle to myself," What the heck happened?"
     I reach home later than I expected. I ring the doorbell and as soon as the door opens, arms fly around me," Where the heck have you been?!" I pry myself from Jordan's arms," I met Landin on the way!" Jordan goes rigid," What did you talk about?" I shrug the question off and walk to the refrigerator. I need food. Suddenly, a strong hand pulls me back by the shoulder," Ow! What Jordan?!" He glares at me," WHAT DID HE DO!" I twist my face with anger," WHY DO YOU CARE? HES MY BOYFRIEND! HAPPY?" Jordan stares at me with an expressionless face. He turns around and grabs his bag." Jordan..." I reach for him, but my arm is shrugged off. He reaches the door," See you tomorrow." He turns the doorknob and walks out. I lean back on the wall. Crap. I hear my little sister, Tigris, come downstairs," Kalyn? Where's JoJo?" I wince at the nickname he's had since third grade," He- He's not here. He went home." Tigris frowns," Oh. When will he back?" I look at her with teary eyes," I don't know."
Jordan's POV
  Of course! This has to happen to me! Ugh, why can't I be appealing to her? Why do I have to be so- so stupid? I feel the tears start to run down my cheeks. I reach the woods that I walk through to get to my house. I run to them and hide in a cave beside the river. I lift up a sparkly tiara.
* Flashback*
  Kalyn spun around in her purple, princess dress," I am Princess Kalyn and I summon my handsome prince Jordan up here." I smile and scramble up to the dirt lump. I place my hand in hers," Ready?" She looks down into the river below," Yes!" We scream and leap into the cold river. We go under and I keep my hand intertwined with hers. We swim up and break the surface gasping for breath. We drag ourselves up to the bank. Once there, we lay down and catch our breath. I look over into her hazel eyes," You okay?" She nods," I love you, Jordan."
  That's when it snapped. That's when I loved her. She loved me, but as a friend. I let my tears drop on the tiara. I drop it and curl up. I've lost her... forever.
