42- "You don't know shit about love."

Pallavi and Adhvik indeed enjoyed going out but it didn't diminish what they felt in their pants. Something they had been keeping it in for the past three months. It was time for some sensuous action.

Pallavi's trip from her home to his room was a stressful one. She lied saying she was meeting Tulsi like always but that wasn't the end of her worries. She made the car stop at Parijat farm, walked to the other side where the car couldn't spot her and hailed an autorickshaw straight near Adhvik's residence. Then walked the rest of the way like she would get bitten by a honeybee if she didn't hurry. That's how much she loathed his locality. How he could live here was beyond her understanding.

They were just settling down when something reminiscent happened. The electricity went off.

“Seriously, why does this happen when you come?” Adhvik complained, raising his head to the slowing fan.

“I'm so hot the electricity can't take it.” She flicked her damp hair.

“You wish!”

He proceeded to take off his shirt, telling her to wait for five minutes while he bathed. Upon returning, he witnessed Pallavi lying on his bed in her sports bikini, chomping biscuits like she owned the place. While her eyes accessed him from top to bottom, checking him out with nothing but a white towel hung loosely around his waist. Uncrossing her bare legs, she turned to his side resting her head to her palm with her elbows supported by the bed. “Like what you see, baby? I bought this bra especially for you.”

“Very,” His lips twitched to a side. “Let me just say my daily prayers real quick. Then we can start our adult film.”

Sometime later, Adhvik ordered Pallavi to sit on his lap (although not completely lest he would feel her weight). He took his sweet time, caressing her damp hair under his fingertips. He touched her neck, bringing a warm tingles to her skin as she momentarily closed her eyes. They shared one last dirty smile before closing their eyes to the sensation of their united lips. A fresh wave of soapy aroma hit their nostrils mixed with the fruity scent of the shampoo. Their lips moved fervently against each other, reliving what they shared, coupled with the aching need for more. Her palms ran alongside the length of his bare arm and back all the way to the back of his head to pull him closer. He sucked her lower lip, before dropping her to his bed.

Perhaps it was the fact that they were doing it after a long gap. Or the fresh bathed scents had something to do with it, making them feel like they were kissing inside a tub. Or perhaps they had mastered the craft somehow.

Their kiss was insanely good.

Pallavi could feel it as their wet pinkish lips danced to the rhythm they desired. She could feel it as they opened their mouths to let the tongues in, earning a moan. Once upon a time, she abhorred the idea of French kiss. Although now as she sucked his tongue into her mouth, evoking a low grunt from the back of his throat, she couldn't love it more. And more when he sucked her tongue while his hands explored, sending pleasurable currents down her body.

They paused, gasping for air.

“What... in the... world?” She panted between her words.

“I know right!” He huffed, resting his forehead heavily against hers. There was nothing but the sound of their breaths thrumming against the silence of the room.

“So good...”

“So good.”

They stared with their heavy eyelids for sometime, only to pull their faces in a passionate liplock. What rhythm were they following? She no longer knew. Just knew that they were onto each other's faces like wild animals. It was like downing a flavored mocktail you really loved and going at it until your thirst was fully quenched. And here she thought Adhvik wasn't fond of kissing. Even Emraan Hashmi would be proud of them.

Their kiss went around for ten minutes.

Her lips were throbbing when she probed them with her finger. Needless to say, it was the best one she had upto date. The rest followed smoothly. This time they left no stone unturned. Neither with making out at first and neither with going down on each other. It was followed by a long awaited copulation. Unlike last time, Adhvik made no signs of holding back as he thrusted her continuously, reaching her deeply. Her vagina still ached occasionally which is why she loved it more when she got on top of him. She was in full control in that. It was safe to say this was the first time they had proper sex. Though she couldn't orgasm at the time of penetration. She did that by other means, no problem.

Needless to say, they were completely exhausted by the time they finished. Before long Adhvik was sleeping like a log. Pallavi simply shook her head in dismay, brought his limp arm over to her side and closed her eyes with a smile.

When Pallavi woke up ten minutes later, he was still napping. Of course he was. Men took a longer time to rest after sex. With her elbow resting against the mattress of the bed, she leaned her head against her palm, observing his sleeping face. His bare chest heaved slightly as he slept with his parted lips. He didn't snore from what she observed of him. He sure looked like a child, sleeping with no care in the world. She admired his face as if it was the most precious thing in the world. Feelings plagued her compelling her to name them out.

I love you.’ She mouthed without a voice.

Adhvik opened his eyes.

“Eeahh!” She shrieked, covering her reddened face with her palms. Not fair when she just mustered the courage to ‘word’ it for the first time.

“I had a feeling you were watching me like a creep.” He let out a chuckle. She suddenly felt like Edward Cullen from Twilight.

For the next few minutes, they just talked while tucking themselves under a quilt. Pallavi was talking about a procedure in a clinic that aided in losing her weight though she wasn't sure if it was working on her. It was only when she stole a glance at him did she scoff.

“Eyes up here, Dhawan.” She directed as he continued to stare at her boobs as if it were gold.

Bhagwan ne bhi kitna sochke banaya hai ladkiyo ko. He made boobs and what size they should have like this one...” He cupped her as he described. “A curve here and one there. This ass, too... Don't worry, you keep talking while I stare at his wonderful creation.”

Pallavi simply facepalmed having simply no idea what to say to him. Nonetheless she smiled and continued talking. Later on, Adhvik talked about his office, his current mean boss though not as much as Tiwari. She wondered how Mansur looked like now that the new office was made. She missed it sometimes and wished she hadn't gone so soon.

“It was a bad experience, wasn't it? Getting that resignation letter,” Adhvik voiced out, this time looking to her eyes. She pouted, adding it was a nightmare. He extending his arms towards her, smiling softly. “Aw, come here.”

Indeed that moment was horrendous but now as Pallavi cocooned herself into his arms with her head on his dusky chest, she couldn't help but think how beautiful it's repercussions were. He responded by tangling his legs between hers, bringing their warm naked bodies closer under the blanket. To be this close to someone. She wouldn't be sharing this moment with him if they were still in Mansur. ‘I love you’ her heart said.

“I love you...” Another voice said that froze Pallavi to oblivion. But then she stole a glance at Adhvik's tilted face and came back to life with disappointment. “If I said that, how would you react?”

“I would be surprised I guess.” She admitted. I would be at the top of this world.

“Then again, you don't know shit about love.”

“Oh, please!” She shot back in an accusatory tone. “I know love way, way better than you! What would you know about me and love anyway?”

“Acha, then tell me... Heh, what happened? Cat caught your tongue, bitch.” He raised a questionable brow at her until he started tickling her. Their moment was long gone, replaced by their playfulness. Somewhere in the midst, an emotion dominated over her and she raised her head to press one gentle kiss to his lips. It was a kiss filled with love. Adhvik locked eyes with hers. Those black orbs that reflected curiosity, puzzlement and a myriad of emotions she couldn't name.

“What happened?” She asked, her brows creased. Did she do something wrong?

“Nothing,” He blinked as if something had caught him for a moment but then it swept away. Eventually he got up to freshen up in the bathroom. Pallavi followed after as she wanted to pee as well.

It seemed both surreal and hilarious how they could do their toilet business in front of each other now. They guffawed hard whenever one of them peed in the presence of other. Apparently they had reached to that level of comfort now. Later she washed her hands while he did the same in a sitting position.

“Um, what are you doing?” Pallavi cast her head down on him perplexed as he started rubbing her feet with soap.

“Can't you see? I'm washing your soft feet, your highness. Girls symbolise Devi after all.” He joked, smiling mischievously at her. Gradually, his soapy hands slide up to her leg and then to the other leg. It was almost like he was bathing her. She liked it.

Until he started to pull her leg down.

“Eeahhh, stop it Adhi! I'm going to fall!” She yelled, her hands immediately clutching the nearby tap for support. She staggered.

“Yes, fall for me, senorita.”

“Shut the fuck up!”

He was kind enough to stop when she was about to loose her balance. Their shenanigans continued as they sprinkled water on each other from the bucket. In the midst, Pallavi proceeded to apply soap on his chest and back with a playful smile on her lips. Adhvik applied on her hips in return. They were close enough to feel their slippery bodies.

“Adhvik?”

“Hmm?”

“What are we doing?”

“No fucking idea!” He shook his head, smiling crookedly. He pressed his lips inwardly, almost on the verge of laughter but then he unexpectedly splashed some cold water on her, making her jaw drop in shock. “Thande thande paani se nahana chahiye. Gaana aaye ya na aaye~... Bol?

Haraamkhor! You nearly wet my hair.” She cussed, ignoring his cringey singing and threw another mug of water at him.
His mouth dropped at the end impact but he quick composed himself, grinning.

Nonetheless, he continued to sing and splash water on her. Were they playing Holi? “Idiot, you're supposed to complete the song. Tip tip barsa paani. Paani me aag lagayi. Aag lagi dil me toh~

Dil ko teri yaad aayi— Ew!” She shuddered for singing the cringey song along with him. Their matargasti went on for sometime.

After their semi- bath, Adhvik decided to make something since her highness was hungry. And since she only had little time left, there was only one evergreen solution— Maggi noodles.

“Nope. Village or town girls won't do,” Pallavi said while slurping a bundle of hot noodles into her mouth.

“Why?”

Adhvik was discussing about a bride's family that visited them while he stayed at home a few weeks before. This and the whole arrange marriage scenario. Pallavi discussed how potential grooms would indirectly reject her upon seeing her full photo sometimes while Adhvik ranted about the immense pressure men had to earn good for marriage. The prejudice existed on both sides.

The fact that Adhvik's parents were actively looking for a bride bothered her but she didn't let it affect her. Or atleast she tried not to. She wished she could tell his parents to halt their bride search for a few years so she could have him all to herself. Talk about possessive.

“You said that girl belonged to a village, right? And she doesn't seem sophisticated from what you described.” Pallavi continued, looking him serious in the eye. “Choose a modern city girl at any cost. They are open minded, well- educated and know how the current youth works. Her type of job won't matter anyway. Not saying all village girls are like the one you met but it's better to choose a modern girl. Not someone who thinks drinking occassionally is a sin. Who only wears Indian attire, and bow down to old age traditions. Boring.”

“Hmm, modern city girl... Well educated... Open minded... Aren't you being a dunce?”

Pallavi frowned in question.

He looked at her deadpanned. “Those attributes you mentioned are something you also have. I could just marry you.”

The fork that Pallavi held fell off on the plate with a thud which accurately reflected the condition of her heart. She was dumbfounded.

Holy mother of— Did he just say he could marry me? Does that mean he loves me? Or was he just saying because I seem like a better option than strangers. What is happening to him?

“You know I can't marry you, right?” The words of opposition flew by before she could stop them. “With our family differences and all. Besides, they are searching for a groom who would atleast earn 80 thousand to one lakh per month.” You are not even close. Plus your family is backward. She wanted to add.

“Yeah, I'm aware of that. I was just saying. Everyone wants ‘rich dudes’,” He taunted. Pallavi peered at him to see hurt or disappointed in his eyes but she saw none. Just indifference. It wasn't because of the money she couldn't marry him either. She just couldn't live the small life he had.

The topic changed to office and career which she was grateful about. He talked about an epiphany he had. About how much he didn't know about production and development of gadgets, even though he worked on Mansur. He was currently getting to know the dynamics of how child parts (of mobile) were designed which was something he was never previously exposed to. Currently, he had the knowledge but not the technical skills. Perhaps that was why he wasn't getting good jobs. He had completely wasted his time on Mansur.

Meanwhile Pallavi had come up with a discovery of her own. It was something she realized after failing her interview. She was never made for this job. It was why she couldn't work well in Mansur. Best would be to change her line of work something she always wanted to do— graphic designing. For that, she had to do a professional course first. She already talked to her mother about it who supported her completely. Pallavi was currently searching for the same.

It was as if both Adhvik and Pallavi were moving towards a newer path of their respective careers which happened after leaving Mansur.

Adhvik and Pallavi's meet didn't take place easily. The fact they were meeting next time probably meant they had cancelled atleast 2-3 plans to meet before that. Either he was busy or her conditions weren't in favor to meet him in secret. They met a month later in October to watch the newly released movie War. Thank goodness they weren't watching in the dingy worn cinema from before. In addition, the mall had people unlike last time when it was empty.

Pallavi was especially excited because of Hrithik Roshan. She fangirled over his Greek God looks throughout the movie while Adhvik commented with his usual ‘look at how berserk you are going’. To him, those two actors were someone who made him self aware of his body because theirs were beyond perfect. He might have even dozed off on her shoulder in the middle of a movie.

Though that didn't stop him from flirting gibberish every now and then. ‘What if we make out in front of these people? How will they react?’ Or something like ‘Can you pull down your top a little please? I wanna see your cleavage’

“Then unbutton your shirt, too. I haven't seen your smooth chest in a while.” Pallavi bit her lip, tugging at the buttons of his shirt. In fact she even paid heed to his request by pulling down her top for a second, making his eyes go wide.

Aree, aree, pagal ho gyi hai kya?! What if someone sees you?” He covered her in a flash, flicking his head sideways. Pallavi assured him not to worry as it was dark. He smirked. “We still have time, baby. If you want we can ditch this movie to make our own.”

For a second, Pallavi actually considered that thought. Especially at times, when their bodies made contact. Even the slightest touches got to her. If she could find a spare room and let him take her there and then. However she took the money and time they spent on the tickets in consideration. Suddenly the image of a jam packed Hrithik, firing with heavy gums seemed more probable now. “Nope, I'll choose Hrithik over you... But no worries, we will fuck soon.”

“You didn't like the movie, did you?” Pallavi asked him as they stepped out of the theatre with the little popcorn that was left in the big cup.

“No, I loved it. Much better than the last movie we saw together... It's just my stomach been acting weird since morning,” He replied in a strained voice while rubbing his stomach.

“Again!” She exclaimed in disbelief. “Didn't you take the doctor prescribed medicine from a few weeks before? Anyway, let's head downstairs to the restaurant. We can sit there.”

“I got well after that but today, it started again. Man, I don't even consume outside food as much. Then why?” He wondered, his face constricted after they settled down in the restaurant.

Pallavi suggested him to consult an Ayurvedic doctor as usual. She got on to explain how western medicine only relieved your pain on the surface but failed to heal the illness from its source. It was why they took time to heal. They didn't dine for long since Adhvik wanted to go home. Even in pain, he jokingly asked if she would accompany to his room, hoping sex will heal him.

“You are unbelievable!” Pallavi facepalmed, smiling. He smiled as well, albeit a weak one. “Just go home and rest, you dork.”

And thus they left with a promise to meet soon.

Sorry for the late update. I barely made my mood to edit this one and write the latest. Oddly, sometimes I'm not in the mood to write this story but I will since I want to finish this precious baby too. ❤ Your thoughts about the chapter? Should I change the chapter title to ‘I could just marry you.’

On another note, it's the end of 2021. How did the year treat you? Good, bad or a mix of both. For me, it was a mix of both. What about you?

Happy new year to all. 💛❤❤💜
