The Next Morning (Early)

Y/n carried a platter of hot arepa con queso outside onto the breakfast buffet table humming an old song for own parents sang to her years ago before Agustin and Felix picked her up in a tight hug.

Y/n: "Ay, Agustin, Felix! Let me go you big goofs!" She shouted out laughing at her friends and brothers silliness as Agustin span her around to Felix whom caught her then set her back onto her feet while Julieta fixes her now messy (short/medium/long) loose h/c hair to look at her face.

Julieta: "Amor, you've got eye bags and tear marks on your cheeks." She said quitely as Pepa walked up to them while Julieta gently caressed Y/n's left cheek, Pepa did the same the right cheek. "How long?" She questioned as a storm cloud appeared above Pepa's head.

Y/n: She took a deep breathe before looking at her sisters as she eat her arepa making her eye bags vanish and tear marks on her s/c skin. "About til midnight, I'm sorry I just miss him so much." She said honestly before hugging Julieta and Pepa whom held her close while rubbing her back.

Pepa: "You don't need to be sorry, hermanita. We understand." She said honestly as Y/n shooed the cloud away making her laugh. "Okay, let's get some breakfast before Camilo comes and eats all of it." She said honestly as the other adults laugh slightly. "I swear he loves his Tias cooking too much." She said seriously while handing Julieta, Y/n, Felix and Agustin plates.

Y/n: "Peppy, he's a growing boy. Of course, he's going to eat a lot plus I'm happy he loves Julieta's and my own cooking. But, I wish he'd stop sneaking into the kitchen to steal leftovers everynight and not clean up." She said honestly as they gathered up their food while the children come outside getting their own plates. "Buenos dias mis preciosos milagros." She greeted before kissing her nieces, nephews and own children's foreheads in greeting as they all either hug, kissing her cheek and forehead back in greeting. "Luisa, can you bring out the dining room table por favor?" She asked politely as her niece nodded.

Luisa: "On it, Tia Y/n." She said walking back into Casita with her plate in one hand as Dolores came out stacking a plate high with delicious and hot breakfast foods making Y/n look knowingly before sighing to watch Pedro Jr get eggs, potatoes and fruit, Camila got mainly fruit and vegetables alongside some eggs, Bruno Jr got a small variety with three hot arepas and Elena got the same as Camila but with four arepas.

As everyone got their plates ready to eat a few of Antonio's animal friends took something from Agustin's pants pocket making the man chase after them while Mirabel came outside to be greeted by her favorite Tia's forehead kisses before walking up to Dolores whom was grabbing another arepa to place it onto a large stack of the delicious treats.

Mirabel: "Dolores, hey! You know, out of all older cousins, you're, like, my favorite cousin, so I feel like I can talk to you about anything, ergo you can talk to me about anything." She said honestly as Y/n noticed that Mirabel was acting a bit odd this morning while Dolores looked Y/n confused before the older woman walked away with her own plate of hot and delicious food and chilled fruits. Once alone Mirabel leaned forward to whisper. "Like the problem with the magic last night that no one seemed to worry about except for BJ's eyes of course, but maybe you heard about that maybe I should know about?" She questioned til Felix spoke up behind Mirabel with Y/n beside him.

Felix: "Camilo! Stop pretending you're Dolores so you can have seconds. You know your Tia Y/n makes you snack box before chores." He said seriously as the real Dolores stand behind Tia Y/n while Camilo shifted back into his true self.

Camilo: "Worth a shot." He said honestly before the casita whacked him with it's shutter panel twice. "Ah!" He shouted out before running away from the buffet table.

Y/n: "Ay, that boy so impatient for good food." She said honestly before sighing. "Let's go Felix and Dolores remember that Elena will need your help today with touching up the families murals." She said as Felix and herself walked away.

Dolores: Nods softly. "Okay, Tia Y/n." She whispered softly before looking over at Mirabel to lean aside a bit. "The only one worried about the magic is you, BJ and the rats talking in the walls. Oh, and Luisa, I heard her eye twitching all night. As well Pedro Jr was cracking his knuckles more then usual." She said before squeaking softly as she walked off and Mirabel looked over at Luisa whom placed the dining room table outside as the family began placing their plates onto the table.

Luisa: "There we go." She said while grabbing hold of four glasses of fresh mango juice for Pedro Jr, Camila, Bruno Jr and Elena to have.

Abuela: "Everyone, to the table! Let's go, let's go." She said with a cup of coffee as Casita brought out chairs for the whole family. Julieta and Agustin sat down at both sides near the end of the table where Y/n sat at. Luisa sat down beside her mother while Pedro Jr, Camila, Bruno Jr and Elena sat next to Antonio whom was next to Dolores whom was beside Isabela, Camilo sat on the other side of Isabela and Agustin. Felix sat down near Abuela as Pepa went to sit down next to her husband before Mirabel took the seat by Luisa quickly making a dark cloud hang over Pepa's head til Felix calmed her down. "Family. We are all thankful for Antonio's wonderful new..." She was saying while going to sit down only to see animals on her seats cushion. "Gift." She said while looking at her youngest grandson.

Antonio: "I told them to warm up your seat." He said towards Abuela smiling as the other animals rested by Pedro Jr, Camila, Bruno Jr and Elena.

Abuela: "Thank you, Tonio." She said with a forced smile before shooing away the lemurs to sit down. "I'm sure today we'll find a way to put your blessings to good use." She said honestly while the family was quitely eating but listening to Alma but Bruno Jr was watching Mirabel and Luisa as he ate breakfast.

Mirabel: Softly whispers towards Luisa. "Luisa, Dolores says you and Pedro are totally freaking out. Any chance you maybe know something about last night with the magic or BJ's eyes...." She asked to see Luisa's eye twitch nervously before gasping loudly and slam her hands loudly onto the table. "You do!" She shouted out making the children jump a bit while the rest of the family looked over at Mirabel.

Abuela: "Mirabel!" She said firmly as the young woman looked over at her. "If you can't pay attention, I will help you. Casita!" She commanded as Casita pulled Mirabel over towards Alma and scooted Felix and Pepa down wards while their plates were reversed. "As I was saying, we must never take our miracle for granted, so today we will work twice as hard." She said seriously before Mirabel pulled out her chair.

Mirabel: "Mm- hmm. I will help Luisa." She said while one of Y/n's h/c eyebrows arched at Mirabel's behavior it was unlike her sweet niece.

Abuela: "Stop." She said firmly to which casita pulled Mirabel back to the table as she stood up and walked towards Isabela and Dolores. "First, an announcement. I've spoken to the Guzmans about Mariano's proposal to Isabela." She said while looking over at Dolores. "Dolores, do we have a date?" She asked while Dolores looked unimpressed but perked her ear up to the sky to listen.

Dolores: "Tonight. He wants five babies." She said unfazed until Tia Y/n choked a bit on her juice at what she had just heard as Tia Julieta patted Y/n's back.

In Isabela's own shock made hot pink flowers sprout from her long black hair as well gulping in disbelief while a lone imperfect white flower popped up.

Abuela: "Wonderful! Such a fine young man with our perfect Isabela will bring a new generation of magical blessings and make both our families stronger." She said honestly removing the lone white flower from Isabel's hair to look over at her daughter in law Y/n. "Your Tia Y/n can help you with the future little ones." She said while Y/n smiled softly at Alma as Camilo shifted Mariano to make fun of Isabela whom flicked flowers into his face making her cousin go back to normal spitting out flowers from his mouth. "Okay. Our community is counting on us. La Familia Madrigal!"

All: "La Familia Madrigal!" They all shouted out in unison while Mirabel got out of her seat to talk to Luisa to see she was already gone with Pedro Jr. Mirabel went to run after her til Tia Y/n stopped her with Bruno Jr in front of the older woman.

Y/n: "Mirabel, could you take Bruno Jr with you. Luisa was suppose to watch him today while Agustin, Felix and I cleaned out casita. But I forgot Luisa was working with Pedro Jr today." She said honestly while Bruno Jr looked up at Mirabel. "Keep an eye on him if something happens okay." She said seriously as Mirabel nodded

Mirabel: "Ay, sure Tia Y/n. Come on, BJ." She said taking his hand into her own while the duo were now running after Luisa only to bump into Isabela. "Sorry." She said while running into town with BJ.

Isabela: "What is your problem?" She demanded of Mirabel before Y/n's hands were gently squeezed her shoulders. "Hola, Tia Y/n." She said while Camila grabbed onto her right hand. "I'll make sure Camilla is at Abuelo's and Abuela's L/n jewelry store later this afternoon." She said honestly before Y/n kissed her and Camila's foreheads.

Y/n: "Isabela, remember you don't have to be perfecta to me nor your favorite primo." She whispered softly before she took the flowers out of Isabela's hair. "Be safe in town, mi amores." She said waving her family and children goodbye then walked into Casita to clean up.

In The Town

The sound of church bells rang out loud as Luisa was moving the building to more stable ground as she set the building down, Pedro Jr reversed time to fix the ground stability slowly as people asked Luisa to re-route the river, and put donkeys into their pens before Pedro Jr followed after Luisa while people asked him for fixing simple things or their fading hairline.

Luisa lifted up the donkeys one by one as Pedro Jr quickly fixed up a breaking house's roof with a twirl of his fingers before cracking his knuckles a bit only for Mirabel and Bruno Jr to jump to them from behind.

Mirabel: "Luisa, Pedro Jr! Wait a second!" She shouted out as she ran up towards and Bruno Jr ran towards his brother. "You both gotta tell me about the magic. What's going on? What are you hiding?" She asked while Bruno Jr talked to his brother.

Bruno Jr: "Pedro, come on tell me what's happening. You only ever crack your knuckles when you're nervous about something or worse." He said honestly as Pedro Jr looked at him while Luisa looked at Mirabel.

Luisa: "Nothing. Just a lot of chores, so maybe you should just go home." She said towards Mirabel and Bruno Jr before kicking a house upright.

Pedro Jr: "Luisa is right, and I'm fine Bj just tired is all." He said honestly while reversing the ground stability underneath the man's newly fixed house before walking beside Luisa.

Mirabel: "Dolores said your eye was twitching, Luisa and that Pedro Jr was cracking his knuckles more then normal when you both never do that alot to begin with." She said seriously as she walked in front of Luisa and Pedro Jr alongside Bruno Jr.

Bruno Jr: "Something's making you two nervous and anxious." He said honestly as Luisa lightly kicked up a donkey to catch it onto her back. "Luisa, Pedro, talk to us por favor." He pleaded.

Luisa: "There's nothing to tell, primo." She said honestly as Pedro walked another Donkey over towards her to pick up.

Mirabel: "You're both obviously worried about something." She said seriously before putting her foot down. "Luisa, Pedro, if either of you two know what's hurting the magic and it gets worse cause neither of you won't tell us what's wrong..." She was saying only for Luisa to face Mirabel and Bruno Jr angrily with Pedro Jr as his eyes showed a deep green clock pattern.

Luisa & Pedro Jr: "NOTHING'S WRONG!!" They both shouted out scaring Mirabel and Bruno Jr a bit. "Whoa, sorry." Luisa said as she set the donkeys down while Pedro Jr fixed Bruno Jr's ruana a bit as his eyes went back to normal. "That... that snuck out there. But what we meant was, um.... Luisa help me out here." Pedro Jr asked as Luisa moved Mirabel and Bruno Jr aside gently. "Why would anything be wrong? I'm totally fine, Pedro Jr is fine. The magic's fine." Luisa said towards her little sister and cousin before her eye twitched alongside Pedro Jr cracking his knuckles. "We're totally not nervous." They said together

Mirabel & Bruno Jr: "Luisa your eye is doing the thing and Pedro your cracking..." The two were saying together til Luisa leaned forward to sing out before walking forward to toss a boulder up into the air then it broke against Luisa's body not giving a single injury or scratch

I'm the strong one, I'm not nervous

Mirabel: "Okay...." She said while the donkeys looked at Mirabel and Bruno Jr in worry.

I move mountains, I move churches

Mirabel: "Of course, I mean..." She said while noticing the donkeys back away a bit. "Hey, where are you going?" She asked before Pedro jumped in front her and Bruno Jr singing beside Luisa as he used his gift to put the boulder back together piece by piece.

I'm the Eldest of four children and it's my job to protect them
I control the flow of time itself, I stop the breaks from forming

Bruno Jr: "And you both do a great job but..." He started to say as Luisa and Pedro sang out separately to Mirabel and Bruno Jr.

The image shifted into a circus tent to show Luisa on a tightrope with Pedro Jr on her shoulders with Mirabel and Bruno Jr looking up at them worryingly before both being flung up into the air.

The Next part was of Luisa and Pedro Jr catching Mirabel and Bruno Jr separately to face the mythical demon dog of Greek legend: Cerberus. Luisa caught Hercules sword and shield while Pedro held a bronze tipped spear to fight off the beast still singing.

A flaw or a crack

As the stairs broke apart to show Luisa surrounded by donkeys and Pedro Jr surrounded by glowing jade sand hourglasses which were slowly forming breaks. Before changing to Luisa holding the world and Pedro holding up a fate tapestry on his shoulders.

The next part was of Luisa freeing the four from a smasher then a geyser field then hanging on a mountain edge. Luisa holding Mirabel while Pedro held Bruno Jr while sing out together.

The next part showed a rock avalanche coming towards Encanto only for Pedro to reverse time to fix the rock face completely on the mountain peaks. Before they were on a huge ship labeled Madrigal as Lusia destroyed the iceberg

Once the four were back on land; Luisa fixed Mirabel's glasses while Pedro gave Bruno Jr back his ruana before doors landed in front of them like dominoes as the top two were Pedro's and Luisa's bedroom doors only for the four to be shot up into the sunset filled sky by a tornado yet Luisa and Pedro looked calm even happy while Mirabel and Bruno Jr smiled at them.

Luisa looked up alongside Pedro as Luisa caught two huge boulders. Pedro was holding up a huge cracking hourglass as sand flowed into the bottom half as both sang out sadly towards Mirabel and Bruno Jr whom looked afraid for their siblings and cousins

Luisa's pressure alongside Pedro's added on more boulders and sand til they both struggled a bit them the casita fell onto the two making Mirabel and Bruno Jr gasp out in fear only to see Luisa lift up the family home while Pedro held up a huge family history tapestry of the Madrigal before the two were holding up the entire land of Encanto together.

After the song Luisa was hyperventilating alongside Pedro only for their siblings to hug them tightly and separately.

Mirabel: "I think you're both carrying way too much..." She said while Luisa lifted up all three younger kids into her arms.

Luisa: "Maybe we overdo it a bit. Um... there is something you should know. Last night, when you and Bj saw the crack, I felt weak and Pedro couldn't feel his hands." She said honestly before people called out for Luisa and Pedro.

Pedro: "I got the donkeys, Luisa. You talk to Mira and Bruno." He said honestly before he left to round up the beasts.

Mirabel: "Wait, what?" She asked confused while Bruno Jr and herself looked up at Luisa. "Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean? What do you thinks hurting the magic?" She questioned as Luisa picked up two donkeys onto her shoulders.

Luisa: "Don't know, but I heard the grown-ups once when Tia Y/n was asleep. Before Tio Bruno left, He had, like some terrible vision about it." She said

Bruno Jr: "Papa? What was in his vision, Luisa?" He asked wanting to see if she knew anything.

Luisa: "No one knows. They never found it. But if something's wrong with the magic, start with Tio Bruno's tower. Find that vision." She told her little primo and hermanita. "But be careful that place isn't like BJ's room and is off limits for a reason." She said before walking away towards Pedro Jr.

Back at the Madrigal Casita

Mirabel and Bruno Jr slowly walked upstairs towards Bruno Sr's tower to see the carving looked exactly like Bruno Jr but solely held hourglasses and no longer glowing bright as the other doors. Mirabel slowly opened up the door before Bruno Jr ran past her to look at the hourglass framed sandfall.

Bruno Jr: "Mirabel, Casita can't help us in papa's room but if I remember what Mama told me. We'll be looking for glowing jade green glass slabs, like my amethyst glass slabs a bit." He said before stopping Mirabel from just walking into the sandfall. "And watch your step." He said before he tucked his legs in then scooted onto the edge to slide down into a huge sand pit while seeing Mirabel stop beside face first. "Ew... sand in the mouth." He said in disgust before they both looked upwards. "Your future awaits. Ay, we're in for a long walk up to the top." He said sighing softly as he began up the steps with Mirabel walking behind him humming but after thirty minutes complained about so many steps.

Mirabel: "Tio Bruno, your room is the worse!" She shouted out as she finally got to the top to see Bruno Jr playing with a toucan giggling but across a huge ravine. "Bj?! How did you get over there?!" She shouted out as Bj shrugged.

Bruno Jr: "I paced myself up the stairs then got a running start. Be careful, Mirabel." He said seriously towards his cousin whom swang herself across with a rope only to stomp some weaker sandstone which fell onto the ground below with a harsh thud. The two children and bird walked into the hallway area looking at pottery bowls to Mirabel scaring two rats into weird craving of Bruno Sr. "Ew..." He mumbled to look ahead to a huge round door. "Papa's vision cave..." He said as he slowly walked inside to see it was just like his own but dark.

Mirabel: "Empty?" She questioned til the door shut behind leaving the two in darkness until bright green light filled the room buried done within the sand. Mirabel began digging up pieces alongside Bruno Jr. "What's hurting the magic?" She thought out loud while Bruno Jr kept digging up pieces of jade glass til he found a complete vision that held his mother against a thin or thick separation force then a man that looked like an older version of himself. Bruno Jr quickly placed the full vision into his bag. Bruno Jr looked up towards Mirabel as she was starting to put pieces of jade green glass together before she saw two images of herself and Bruno Jr within the glass. "BJ and me?" She whispered softly when she finally heard her cousin shouting at her.

Bruno Jr: "MIRABEL!! WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!! GATHER UP EVERY SINGLE PIECE AND LET'S GO!!" He shouted out panicking as he put pieces into his bag alongside Mirabel rapidly while the cave began breaking apart around the two while filling up with sand and broken stone before they both were tossed out of the room by a tsunami of sand.

The two quickly walked out of Bruno Sr's tower panting heavily before Mirabel bumped into Abuela making Bruno Jr bump into Mirabel. Abuela looked down at her two grandchildren confused.

Abuela: "Where are you two coming from in such a hurry? What is in your hair?" She asked while reaching towards Mirabel as Bruno Jr quickly intertwines.

Bruno Jr: "Mirabel was helping clean up the sand on my bedrooms floor but some may have gotten into our hair. Sorry, Abuela." He lied while apologizing as Abuela looked at her grandson before kissing his forehead lightly.

Abuela: "I see, well then go wash up both of you and..." She was saying until Luisa and Pedro shouted in a panic.

Luisa & Pedro: "Our gifts!" They shouted out as the two walked upstairs to see Abuela, Mirabel and Bruno Jr sobbing. "We're losing our gifts!"

Abuela: "What?" She questioned while Luisa started explaining.

Luisa: "Mirabel and I were having this little talk while BJ and Pedro Jr were having their own talk mainly about not carrying to much as well nor baring too much. So when we both tried not to hold or carry too much when we realized that we were falling behind..." She said crying as Pedro spoke up.

Pedro Jr: "We both started feeling really bad, so Luisa was grabbing all the donkeys while I was speeding up the hardening on some new house cement, but when Luisa went to throw the donkeys into the barn they felt heavy to her and my hands felt like lead stones. I couldn't even snap my fingers to stop time!" He sniffles before he ran pass Abuela, Mirabel and Bruno Jr to go into his bedroom while Luisa ran to her own slamming both doors shut.

Abuela: Looks over at Mirabel sternly. "What did you do? What did you say to them?" She questioned firmly before fixing Bruno Jr's ruana while sighing as Mirabel tried to explain alongside Bruno Jr trying to get their grandmother to listen to Mirabel. "Mirabel..." She said before sighing as the church bell rang out loud through the town. "I have to go get the Guzmans for Isabela's engagement. Stay away from Luisa and Pedro Jr until I can talk to them both. Tonight, we can't have anymore problems." She said while heading towards the staircase to look back at Mirabel and Bruno Jr. "And Mirabel, Whatever you're doing, stop doing it as well dragging Bruno Jr into it." She said seriously before leaving casita while Mirabel and Bruno Jr walked into the nursery together.
