Neil suddenly woke up from his sleep on the couch and looked up to find her nowhere in the bed. He got confused and sat straight on the couch and started walking to find her in porch.

She was sitting and was drinking wine. He walked and sat beside her on the couch. He took the wine glass from the table and gulped it in a go. Avni looked at him.

"Isn't this thing allowed in fling ?" She asked him. He remained silent. She cupped his face and turned him towards her.

"Are fights allowed in fling ?" She asked him again.

"What's with that dumbest question?" He asked her which made no sense to him.

"I thought you have seperate guidelines..." She told which made him look at her. He rolled his eyes seeing her acting sarcastically.

"So what's your guidelines for fighting ?... How long you are gonna stay angry ?..1 day?..2 days?" She asked him and folded her hand across her chest feeling cold. 

"A whole week .." he told her in a teasing way while she looked at him blinking her eyes in confusion.

"Tough guy!" She told him making him smile. She got relieved seeing him smile atlast

"Thank God!" She told him while he stood up and left inside and came back within a moment.

He made her wear her coat as he understood her untold words. Avni smiled widely.

"Definitely you're a Pass... Can't believe that you are into causal flings but not relationship..I mean I respect your preference but still..." Avni told him while he chuckled.

"I got dumped " he laughed and poured another glass of wine for him and started sipping.

"What ?!" She asked him. He started swirling the glass of wine and took another sip.

"I got dumped a year back...She broke up with me over a text message and started ghosting me from that time..." He told her looking straight while Avni just looked at him.

"So we are in the same level in this game tho.." he told her chuckling making the situation lighter.

"Right ?" She chuckled playing along with him.

"Are you still not over her ?" She asked him while he pressed his lips together. He kept the glass on the table and just let out a big sigh.

"I don't know...whether I still have feeling for her...or whether I just need a closure...or what I need ..."he told feeling conflicted whenever he thinks about his past.

"She told me I have emotionally drained her completely...So I decided I'll do the world a favor by not getting commited to a relationship"he tried to make a joke out of his situation which made Avni sadder seeing him.

"Good for you!...I mean if it makes you happy not being involved emotionally..." She told him not knowing what to say to console him.

She sighed.

"Leave that !!..What's with this new character I didn't know about...Whether I should be wary of him or is it okay to let him be close to you...." He told which made Avni confused.

"Who is this character now ?" She asked him.

"Ali..?" He told trying to remember his name correctly.

"Ali ...Ohh... don't worry...He is such a nice guy !" She told him while Neil made a 'Sus' face.

"Nice guys ?!..Huhmm.." he added being so curious.

"How should I tell you...He is...my friend?..my ex?..i don't know...I mean...okay let me just tell you directly....see..he was there for me when I was struggling alone due this shitty break up phase...later he told he liked me...so I just gave it a try even though I haven't moved on that time....I think I wanted a distraction....but later realized he is too good for me and what I was doing was so wrong...I mean to just use him as distraction...so I broke up with him within a month or something...." She chuckled telling him everything.

"Damn!...Poor Guy!" He sympathized with Ali.

"I realized something very crucial.." she took a serious tone while Neil patiently listen to her.

"I don't think I have the thing to trust people anymore..." She told and chuckled making Neil blankly looked at her.

"Actually this is better right ?!...We can just end whenever we want without any long term struggles..." She told him while he nodded and agreed with her.

"Yup!...It's like we are there for each other without actually being there for each other..." He added further while Avni nodded smiling.

"Are you still angry ?.." she asked him while he nodded his head in a No.

"I mean I was not angry I was just upset seeing you let go of him just like that....But in the end it's your life and I have to respect that..." He told her while she smiled hearing him.

"Thank you for understanding..." She told him while he just smiled.

He then leaned in and pecked her lips for a kiss making her smile widely. They left inside as Avni started feeling cold.

She lyed on the bed while Neil covered her with Duvet. He was about to go to couch but stopped when she hold his hand.

"I am feeling cold..." She told him while Neil understood the assignment and joined her under the duvet.

They cuddled eachother. Neil slowly started patting her shoulder.

"I am not going to the wedding tomorrow" she told him while he broke the hug and looked at her.

"Thank God!..." He told her while she let out a laugh.

"So ?" He asked her tracing her face with his index finger.

"So?" She asked him

"What's the plan for tomorrow?" He asked her and pinned her hair behind her ear.

"Whatever you say babyyy..." She hold him by his chin shaking it fondly making him chuckle.

"Whatever I say ?" He smirked at her and placed his forehead with hers.

"Yeah! Whatever you say " she added again while he nuzzled her cheeks making her feel ticklish

"Whatever I say ?" He teased her while Avni started laughing nodding her head.

The next day

They went on street shopping and were roaming around the streets of Manali. They tried the local foods. They clicked many pictures, laughed, teased and played with eachother so much. They enjoyed each other's company to the fullest.

Later in the evening

They went on snow surfing. They were playing with snow, throwing snow at each other. They build snow man and was enjoying alot. Avni's nose have become red. Neil pulled her beanie fully to cover her face. Avni pulled her beanie back and smacked his chest.

"Ouch " he told her

"Its so cold !" Avni told breathing out air. While Neil chuckled.

She snuggled onto him like a baby while Neil comforted her in his arms. He kissed her forehead.

"I think we should head back ...I'll die.." she told him while she nodded and they went back to their hotel.

She jumped inside the comforter while Neil turned on the heater. He sat beside her on the bed.

" I am not gonna come anywhere..." She told while Neil laughed looking at her.

"Don't laugh !" She told pouting while Neil controlled his laughter. She throwed a pillow on his face making him pout.

Avni was just resting while Neil was on his laptop booking tickets to go back

"I booked tickets ..." He told her while she nodded.

He kept the laptop beside and walked towards the bed near her. He sat beside her on the bed and Avni just snuggled onto him like a clingy baby. While Neil wrapped his hand around her shoulder playing with her hand. Avni just leaned her back onto him more. Neil was thinking alot before asking her. His face showed a lot hesitation but he wanted to clarify everything with Avni.

"So are we just ending it here or what ?" He asked her while she lifted her face to look at him.

"Technically I was supposed to be your boyfriend to give you company to your ex wedding and we didn't go...So..." He told her while Avni completely turned towards him.

"I thought we are in the casual flings .." she told him

"Yeahhh but ...I mean...it's started like fake boyfiee thingyy. I just want to clear things out !"

"Ohhh ..." She replied to him in a disappointed tone wondering whether Neil wants to end it.

"I mean...We can just continue for the time being...If we both want it !" He was trying to make things clear after understanding her untold expression.

"I don't have any problem if you want to end things here .."she told him in a serious tone.

"I want it...I mean...I like being with you..like this " He pulled her closer and caressed her nose with hers making her smile.

"And how long are we gonna be like this ?" He asked her moving away from her a little.

"I don't know...I mean..you tell me...How it works ...?" She made a confused face.

"Maybe it can keep going until one person's wants to end it...?" He asked her which made her confused even more.

"Then what's the difference between this and normal relationship?" She asked him with her big doe puppy eyes.

"Good question!...Here there is no reason needed. You don't have to care about other person feeling...If it's a No..it's just a no...No string attached !...These are based on my guidelines" He explained and chuckled while Avni nodded smiling .

"Perfect " Avni agreed to him. Neil smiled at her.

"So it's only about physical intimacy?" She shooted him with other question trying to scan his expression.

"No...I mean...its depend on us...We are just here to have fun...As I told you before. No strings attached !" He emphasized his view again while Avni nodded.

"So is it a Yes or No?" He asked her.

"Huhmm...Causal flings ?...Yes... Physical Intimacy ?..." She took a pause teasing him while Neil was waiting for her reply.

"Definitely yes.." she told him while he chuckled.

"I know you are pervert Avni...I caught you checking on me..." He told her pulling her leg while Avni scoffed hearing him.

"Don't project your feelings Mister..." She got competitive and argued with him making him chuckle.

He leaned in for a kiss while she covered his mouth.

"You don't deserve one for your bratty behaviour..." She told him while he pouted.

He started tickling her while she started laughing. She just fallen down on the bed still laughing while Neil was balancing his whole body on his elbow. They looked at each other and they just kissed eachother. His lips then moved to her cheeks and then her eyes and slowly moved to her neck. He started kissing her on the neck while Avni shut her eyes tightly. He just looked at her while Avni opened her eyes after missing his warmth. Her hands worked his way through his shirt buttons. He hold her hand stopping her.

"Avni...are you .." before he could say she spoke.

"Yes!" She told in an instant while her eyes shows no kind of hesitation.

She initiated the kiss again. Her hands continued working on his shirt button and slowly removed it.  While he pulled her top's sleeve down to her shoulder and started kissing her shoulder and travelled back to her lips pulling in for another deeper kiss. They spent their night loving each other more.
