Dick frowned. What kind of person did this with their spare time? He thought criminals DAILY and most of them weren't big enough assholes to resort to cyberbullying!
Sure, BeastBoy wasn't the easiest kid to be around, but that constitutes minor complaining, not vicious online hatred! I mean come on! He's thirteen! He was TWELVE only months ago!
There was no need to upset the Titans, as democratically elected team leader (Okay, that's a lie, he's only the team leader because he wears hair gel and knows how to skate), he would handle this alone for them. No need to get everyone riled up.
He inspected the twitter account "Hook_Charm_02", and found a name in the bio: Peter J Thomas.
He messaged the person: 'Wow imagine cyberbullying a literal 13 year old'. He blocked the account so they couldn't reply and reported the account.
Dick then skipped over to Instagram, typing the name into the search bar. Look what popped up: @hook.charm02. What kind of idiot used the same @ on everything and put their FULL NAME in the bio. This should be easy.
He sent the same message, blocking and reporting them. He went on an anonymous account and started scrubbing through the account; it was all photography, no pictures of the person themself. He messaged them not to cyberbully tweens, and went through their followers. He messaged one of the people and told them to tell Peter Thomas to back off.
He blocked and reported again, preparing a few bot accounts. He kept them on hand for things like this; flagging and reporting accounts en mass.
Some of the tweets made his blood boil. He was very protective of his friends. He hoped his bot accounts would get them banned! Ideally before the others found out they had a hater.

Dick had been gone for months, so could you blame him for being worried? Because he was worried about his poor baby brother. Dick was so little. So young!
Bruce had been worried too, dangerously so, the league had meetings in secret without him because it was hard to work with him, Luscious Fox worked overtime because Bruce missed so many things. He drowned himself in trying to locate his youngest son and only spoke when he snapped 'I already checked there' at you if you tried to help.
And then there was Alfred. That was too upsetting and scary to discuss. He was quiet a lot, and you could tell he was worried because his food quality went down from phenomenal to amazing. He was still reassuring and caring and took care of them, but you could tell he was anxious.
And that's anxious for a guy who cares for two generations and a total of seven crime fighters.
He'd been missing for months and the only evidence they'd found was a few photos found on the Instagram account @Beast_is_Boy. One of the first posts was a blurry photo of a odd-looking cluster of teens, including Dick, who was sitting on a car, and the caption: 'Ding-Dong Daddy could never'.
There were about eighteen posts, five of which had Robin in them, but the location was never tagged, except one in Tokyo, and there were no recognizable landmarks. Most of them were just videogame high scores, teenagers eating or posing with newly arrested criminals.
Tim didn't want to bully a thirteen year old, Garfield Logan seemed nice enough, but he needed his brother's attention.
"JAY!"
"WHAT?"
"I NEED YOU TO ROAST A CHILD!"
"WHAT?" Jason entered the room, sure he heard his brother wrong.
Tim turned to his little brother in his computer chair. "I need you to roast the hell out of this child."
"Obnoxious shit!" Jason exclaimed. "Jolly Green Giant lookin' ass!"
"No, that's too funny." Tim said. "It needs to be aggressive."
"Three-foot-zero! Goblin motherfucker! Furry!" The eighteen year old waited to be told to stop. "How about before he fights crime, he fights his acne first!"
"Good, good..." Tim, typed these out.
"Uh, what are you using these for?"
Tim smirked. "I'm finding our brother." He logged into another account to alert Robin to the fact someone was bullying his friend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Robin! We spend four sections of sixty minutes in the mall!"
"That's great, Star..." Dick replied absently. He was glad the others had a good afternoon while he handled that.
"What'd you do?" Gar asked eagerly. "Didja fix it?"
"Yeah. both controllers have new toggle pads, no more sticking or lagging."
"Yes!"
"I downloaded clean torrents of that patch you wanted." Dick observed. "but try not to share with other devices, incase there's something I missed.
"Whoo! Mario Kart Eight!" The animal-boy and computer-boy high-fived hard enough to hurt them both.
"Yeah, have fun with it. I think it's clean now, but the game might crash if you play as DK and use the special BMW tires, so maybe stick to Yoshi or something." Dick smiled, he felt a little bad keeping secrets from the titans, but it was for the best.
I mean, how could keeping this a secret hurt them? It's not like the Red X thing.
This was just going to keep them safe.

"DEMON!" Jason said.
"No."
Jason pulled off his helmet again. "Listen up, asshole, you're going to want to see this!"
"I'm busy!"
"We found Dick!"
There were immediate running footsteps and the oldest bat brother appeared. "You know where he is?"
"We have a rough idea. "Alright let's go."
"You aren't going to Tell Bruce?"
"Do you want Richard to run away again?" Damian spat. "Drake, share GPS to my cycle."
Damian wasn't going to let his baby brother get away again. it had been three months. He missed having him around. He missed the sixteen-year-old refusing to have a bad attitude and ticking off his big brothers with aggravating surprise-hugs.
Damian never thought he'd miss his little brother jumping off the balcony and landing on his shoulders. He NEVER thought he'd miss having to carry his injured brother home and bandage him up while Dick shakily asked if there was blood. He was sure that driving Dick to the Gordon's for sleepovers would bore him forever, until his brother ran away.
He hadn't had his little brother pester him for homework help in three months. His sixteen-year-old brother had been missing for a quarter of a year.
But not for much longer.
He was bringing Dick home.

"Any sign of Red X?" Dick asked his communicator.
"Nowhere."
"Clear."
Something caught the corner of his eye. "Wait, I see something. Head up here." Dick shoved his communicator back in his pocket. Robin ducked low to the rooftop, skittering behind a ventilation system.
A flash of red flitted through his peripheral vision. Dick whipped around. With all he new about Red X, he was about to be lead on wild chase.
There! Cape! It was a checkered flag to start the race. Dick took off after the black form, trusting that X would lead him on a reasonable rooftop chase.

X was barely taller than him so Dick could keep up.

they approached the rail gutter at the end of the roof.

X leapt off the roof and without thinking, Dick leapt too. But X had jumped right off the gutter, Dick had been a few feet from the edge.
He had drastically undercalculated the distance between buildings.
Dick undershot the jump by half a mile, legs kicking in the air like he could run forwards. His cape flapped up as he plummeted, his stomach raising into his ribcage. His mind worked just faster than gravity, he grabbed his grappling hook and shot it blindly upwards.
It caught on the tin gutter with a scrape, Dick's arm shot up jerked him to a stop with a sickening pop. He dangled there, about fourteen feet off the ground.
There was a grinding sound as the thin rain gutter was wrenched off the side of the building. He hung there about half a second more when there was a snap and Dick's grappling hook cut through the metal.
He fell so much faster in the last fifteen feet.

ow.
Ow.
OW.
He didn't know where the pain came from but it hurt. His whole face was numb and his head was dizzy and light. Even without feeling in his face, he knew that the concrete and stones were imprinting patterns on his cheek.
He knew he'd blacked out, but whether it was three seconds or thirty, he had no clue. He just hoped it wasn't more than a minute, that could cause brain damage.
He felt sick as he tried to raise his head.
"Robin!" The sound pounded through his skull. His eyes rolled up as his head was lifted off the ground and placed of what seemed to be Kori's lap.
"Whoa, dude! are you okay?" God, for all the time he spent protecting Gar from bullying, he sure got re-payed in headaches. Is this how his brothers felt? "Did Red X do this?"
"Red X." Dick winced. He'd seen where he was going! If only his head would stop spinning for a moment...
He was pulled off the relative comfort of Starfire's lap by the cold metallic hand. Geez, Victor needs a heating system. "No, we're going home."
"Yeah, Red X will show up again in a week or to." Rachel replied. "You have to live long enough to catch him next time."
He groaned a little. "Why do you have to be right?" Supported by cyborg he tried to stay on his feet, limping a little on his left knee and wincing as his friends brushed his right arm. His shoulder was totally dislocated, and his knee was definitely bending weird. He just had to hold in the waterworks until he was alone.
He let himself be laid in the back of the T car, Ordered that the others keep working without him (Which the refused to do, mutinous little fucks) and tried some breathing exercises to keep himself from crying when the car lurched.
He reluctantly his friends help him upright and lead him out of the car and towards the tower proper. Dick's eyes were crunched shut, and blood pumped through his ears, but he still heard the crunch of gravel and faint rumble of well-cared engines stopping.
For a second he thought Gar had taken the liberty of returning the R-cycle, which was some bullshit because Dick specifically told him NOT to touch his bike.
He pulled away from the titans and turned to tell off whoever had decided to approach them in the dark after the worst day he'd had in months.
"What do you-"
But he stopped, suddenly coming face-to-face-to-face-to-hood with three people he knew very well.
"DICK! OHMYGOD!" He was swept off the grimy concrete into a rib snapping hug. Dick cried in pain as his shoulder flared up.
"DICK! Oh my god where've you been? Oh my god!" The wind was knocked out of him as a second brother enveloped him.
"Di-Rich-Gr-Richard!" Dick was crushed between the three of them.
"Oh my god, Dickie." Tim's voice was low and shaky. "Are you okay? Oh my god, I missed you." He choked a little, burying his face in Dick's hair.
Damian let go a little, letting Dick breath a little. But only a little because Tim and especially Jason were still crushing him. "Where were you?"
Dick tried to speak, but his voice came out barely audible and unstable with tears. "Hi Dami."
"Why the hell didn't you come home?"
Dick flinched, unable to stifle his yelp as his dislocated shoulder was dug into his brother's chest. At least the stun feature wasn't on."Hi Jay."
"Where did you go? Why didn't you come home!" Jason shouted, refusing to let him go. "You didn't come home and we were texting and calling you and we've been looking for you for months!" He yelled, eyes grit closed to ensure he wouldn't cry.
"Bruce is so worried and we couldn't find you." Tim told him.
"Sorry." Dick uttered. "Sorry! Sorry-LET GO!" He shouted, hand flying to his shoulder. Jason dropped him from the bear hug, but kept a hand clamped around Dick's wrist. He wasn't letting his brother get away ever again!
"What's wrong?"
Dick crumpled to the ground, except for the hand Jason refused to let go of.
"He fell of a roof. And who the hell are you?" Cy ordered.
"Dickie? I'm so sorry, are you okay? Oh my god?" Tim sat on the concrete behind him and enveloped his brother in a hug.
OW.
Dick hadn't given a thought to falling, except that he had a fear of falling, but know that Tim was acting like this, some sort of delayed trauma was getting triggered.
"Come Home." Jason said, loosely tugging his brother's hand
"Again: WHO. ARE. YOU."
Jason seemed bothered. "We're his brothers, Desktop!"
"Are you injured?" Damian asked his youngest, bending down and cupping his brother's face protectively.
"My shoulder- popped out." He croaked from withholding sobs. "And-"
"And?"
"I dunno."
Damian began examining him, fingers moving delicately to avoid harming him further. "We need to get you back to Gotham. Okay?"
"Okay." Dick let himself be pulled up, knees sore and shaky.
"Robin?"
"Rob- Where are you going?"
"I'm going to go back to Gotham, just for a bit. Get this settled." He tried to make it sound like no-big-deal.
"Are... are you coming back?" Garfield asked.
"I'll make it work." He promised, limping as his brothers guided him back to their bikes.
