"DDAAADDDD! Tim took my lipgloss!" Barbara whined. "It's not even his colour."

"I'll talk to him later." Bruce said, holding the receiver against his chest.

"Dad, Damian won't help me do my hair!" Dick said, tugging his arm.

"Ask Alfred, Dickie, I'm on the phone with your auntie Kate." He sighed.

"Alfred's busy."

"Barbara can help you."

"I can't go all the way upstairs." She rolled her eyes. "The boys are using the main elevator and my back hurts. Either I crawl up the stairs or I wait until I can take my chair up!"

"One second." Bruce sighed. "Hi, Kate. Are you on your way over? ...Yeah, just working on getting the kids out the door."

"Dad?"

"One second, Dick." He hissed, patting Dick's hair to send him on his way. "...Yeah, yeah. It's not a big deal, besides, Stephanie and Tim are on the older side, and Bette doesn't really need a babysitter? What is she now, fourteen, fifteen? She'll be fine. and Alfred will be watching the younger ones too but he'll mostly just be helping Barbara get through the accessibility entrance"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"One, two, three, four, five," Terry counted off heads. "Six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleve-- hold on." He squinted at the crowd and tried again. "Damian, Cass, Steph, Tim, Duke, Carrie, Jason, Barbara, Dick, me. Yep, that's ten, and Bette will be eleven."

"Can we hurry?" Jason whined.

"Uh, yeah. I think Alfred's getting the car..." He replied. "Is everyone set?"

"Let me finish my lashes, I don't wanna stab my eye out in the car." Steph piped up.

"Steph, I hope you stab your eye out." Jason said. "It'd make this cooler..."

"Shut up you worm." She smacked her lipstick to even it out. "how long are we gonna be there?"

"Uhh, I'm not sure, let me check our booking." Terry took out his phone.

"He said an hour-fifteen." Duke said.

"I think it's forty five minutes." Damian said.

"It's an hour-fifteen."

"Well that's not great. it's not like we can get everyone sitting still for photos in only forty-five minutes."

"Duke says it's an hour fifteen!" Carrie piped up.

"Yep, She's right. hour-fifteen." Terry confirmed. "Okay, everyone get your jackets. I say we get into the car quickly, cause dress shoes aren't waterproof. B?"

"Hmm?" Bruce paused at the bottom of the stairs and ran his own headcount. "Yeah. Does everyone have their jackets? Barbara, do you have--"

"Yeah, I put on my snow treads, and Alfred said to put the blades on at the ramp so they don't scratch up the floor."

"Good, good. Dick, Jason, Casandra; Jackets please, and then Alfred's got the car outside."
With only a few more minutes of bustling and panic, all ten managed to be herded out through the thin layer of fresh snow, into the limousine.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Close your eyes for me, dearie." The elder cousin held her chin still, drawing a thin spike of eyeliner.

"I haven't seen them in so long..." Bette said, flinching at the pinch on her eyelids. "its kind of weird to be grouped in with my cousin's kids."

"It's weird to be your cousin's sidekick, but you see no problem with that." Kate teased, smudging off a slip up.

"I'm not you're sidekick! I'm going solo, remember?" she moaned. "Flamebird? remember?"

"I remember."

"Batgirl is a hand-me-down role," The teen continued. "it was Cass's and Steph's before it was mine, and I want me own thing. Maybe Carrie or Barbara can be batgirl."

"Barbara's in a wheelchair."

"and?"

"Fair enough." Kate brushed off a few fly-aways. "How did I do?"

Bette opened the powder compact and admired her reflection through the film of dust. "Thanks! It's good." She hesitated. "Can I borrow your eyeliner?"

Kate snorted softly, obliging her. "Did I not do a good enough job?"

"No, it's fine. It just needs to be unique." She said, drawing larger, longer wings on her eyes. They were messy, but Bette seemed satisfied. "There."

The woman watched her baby cousin proudly; it was about time Bette went into her eyeliner phase, and with Bruce and her as adult influences, Bette would probably never grow out of the eyeliner-angst.

"Bette!!" A voice yelled outside the studio waiting room.

Excitedly, the blonde shot up and ran to the door; yanking it open, smack into a face full of snow. She coughed, brushing the icy off her previously fresh face. "Who was that?"

"It was Jason!"

"I'm gonna gut you, snitch!" The tween yanked the collar of Dick's jacket, shoving a fistful of snow down his back. instantly, there was a crack on the back of his head and speckles of white everywhere. Jason flinched and gripped his little brother closer. "Who was it, snitch?"

"Cass!"

"CAASSSS!" Jason slipped on the ice, packing a snow ball. He didn't even have time time throw it when he got smacked by three more. "WHO WAS THAT?!"

Another one. Bette snickered; revenge.

"JAY!" Dick ducked under his big brother and shoved a handful of ice up his shirt.

"COME ON!" He screamed, shaking it out. "Not fair!"

"Hey, quit ganging up on him!" Terry teased, pulling Dick Back and dropping him backwards into the snow.

"Guys? Maybe we shouldn't--" Duke staggered back from the impact; caught in the crossfire.

"Duke! Let's team up against Damian and Cass!" Carrie grinned, packing snowballs. "BARBARA! Cover us!"

The redhead shot in front, turning sharply to spray the older Waynes with snow. She leant over to use her chair as a shield.

"HEY!" Bruce shouted, stepping out of the car. "GUYS! NOT NOW."

"Aww! Come on!"

Bruce dodged a snowball lobbied at him, but he didn't dodge the next one.

Alfred stepped out of the driver's side door, clearing his throat before speaking up. "Cease Fire."

The shouting stopped instantly. Children dragged themselves up from the ground and dusted off the wet snow from their best formal clothes.

"Hi Bruce!" Bette waved, barely avoiding calling him 'Uncle Bruce', she did that as a kid, but she considered herself too grown up for it now.

"Hi Bette." He replied. "Well, dos anyone want to do in and see Kate?"

Dick, Jason, Barbara, and Carrie gasped. "AUNTIE KATE!" Children flooded the door to the photography studio, pushing into the waiting room and flooding their aunt.

"Well, good to see you." She finished off her drink. "Dick? come up here. Look how big you are." She pulled him onto the chair next to her.

"Auntie Kate, this is Duke, do you remember?" Carrie asked, pulling the sheepish boy through the crowd. "He's part of the family now!"

"So I've heard." She remarked. "I didn't know what you like so I had to guess. Presents in my car."

Cheers rang through the room.

"Stop spoiling them, Terry's done enough of that this weekend." Bruce stopped to greet his cousin. "Kate."

"Bruce."

"You look dead" Bruce said.

"As do you." Kate said.

"I'm raising ten kids. you?"

"I'm actually working. being a competent boss, making sure I know what my team is doing..."

Bruce pulled her up into a hug. "Good to see you."

"You too." She grinned. "Alfred, Good to see you!" She pulled away and hurried to greet the beloved butler.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"The, uh, the name is under Wayne?" A photographer asked, stepping into the room and staring at the only group of people there.

"Wayne!? Bruce, it's supposed to be under KANE!"

"It's on me." Bruce replied. "We'll be right in!"

"You dirty..." Kate grumbled, striking him in the ribs.

"OKAY! Everybody; best behavior! Listen to the nice woman taking the pictures!" Bruce yelled. "Don't make me open the casualties fund!"
