"Ashley. Your dad needs you!" Mom called to me. I groaned in response. Why must dad interrupt my reading? He's probably going to nag me to come with him to one of his races. When I was younger I did go to his races and cheered him on. From what I remember, he won all of the races. I remember being very happy for him. Don't get me wrong I still am but I would rather stay here and hang out with Mater and everyone else and take care of the town. I strolled out of my cone and drove to where I knew my dad would be. And I was right. He was driving around the dirt track him and I use to race each other on. Of course he would always let me 'win'. My dad stopped when he saw me and drove up to me. "Hey sweet heart." My dad greeted me. "Hey dad. Let me guess you want me to come to your upcoming race?" I questioned him. Dad gave me a whimper look. I sighed in defeat. Is he seriously going to beg me to come to one of his races? "Fine, dad. But you know how I am about crowds and shouting." I reminded him. "Don't worry. You'll be with your mom in the pit crew area. It's much quieter there unless Mater starts yelling and screaming." Dad informed me. "Oh well I don't mind Mater's yelling." I mentioned. Mater was much older than me but he was like an uncle to me. "So you'll come?" Dad asked me again. "Yes I will come, Dad. For you." I told him. "Thanks. I want you to cheer me on loudly too since I am going against a big opponent." Dad told me. "Who?" I asked. "Jackson Storm. He's a new rookie in the season. He beat me on my last few races." Dad informed me. "Ok. I will make sure to do that." I told him. Dad smiled at me and we both drove back to Mom. "How did it go?" Mom asked Dad. "She's coming." Dad announced. "Good, great, awesome." Mom told me. "If only I could get a pair of earbuds." I said with a chuckle. Mom and Dad chuckled too. Well here I am. A 15 year old blue Porsche going to a big race. This should be fun. 

Hey everyone!! I hope you will enjoy this new Cars story. I have another Cars story that most of my followers would be familiar with and its called I Landed In The World Of Cars! It's a great one according to the people who keep reading, voting, and commenting on the story lol.  But this was another idea in my head and I decided to give it a go! This is based on Cars 3, in which I have seen and it was awesome, so there will be spoilers. But enjoy otherwise!-Megan
