This can cause the outer lateral side of the ankle to 'give way' recurrently. This can occur during simple activities like walking and is common in athletes. The biggest limitation for her is discomfort and swelling if she strains it or doesn't rest it even if it gives way. She also has chronic back pain from an injury she got from a stage 'accident'.

Odette is usually calm and has somewhat of a frosty exterior. Due to this, people that don't know her very well think of her as intimidating and b!tchy. Which she can be at times. However, around friends she is lighthearted, maybe even a little upbeat. She almost always has a smile on her face, even if it's just a little one. No matter what life throws at her, she won't let anyone else see under her carefully crafted façade. After all, she wouldn't want anyone to worry about her if something were awry. She tends to be a bit guarded and unsure around new people, only opening up once she figures them out and recognizes that they are not a threat. She isn't easily frightened and keeps a poker face. Her words are carefully crafted and she knows just what to say in certain situations. That doesn't mean she isn't blunt though. She is usually straight to the point. She's very prideful and hates admitting when she's wrong. She has more of a dark sense of humor and she's no stranger to sarcasm. She even has a bit of a flirty side, if you're close enough to her to see it.

For the most part, Odette is quite patient. She's put up with quite a lot already, what's a little more? She'll be there for her friends if they need her and will wait patiently for them to open up to her if they want to. She's not very temperamental at all unless someone messes with someone she cares about. Then she might get a little confrontational. Depending on their relationship to her and what someone had done to them, she might even get a little threatening. She's protective over those close to her and doesn't want to lose them. She is good at keeping her calm and is more of the quietly threatening type. She's calculating and won't let you see when you've pushed her too far, but you'll know the moment she goes silent.

Growing up, Odette had plenty of rules set for her. Pain was just the price for perfection. Or at least that she was told. That it's something that should be accepted and that if there wasn't any pain then she just isn't working hard enough. So if she was told to do something or to learn something, she did it. Because she had to. So she is quite used to following rules. She is a very ambitious person, striving to do her best. She is well-mannered thanks to her upbringing and follows rules mostly because they are enforced. She's not opposed to breaking them on occasion though. In fact, she broke them all the time growing up. She did have a rebellious side after all and often snuck out of the house at night to escape her strict parents.

While she may not initially appear to be, Odette is a very cunning girl. She knows how to manipulate others simply by reading their body language and observing some of their behaviors. She is quite smart, academically and in other ways as well. She is great with interpersonal relationships and can sense others feelings and motives with ease. She can easily pick up new hobbies and talents and is already quite skilled with playing both the piano and the violin. Her good temperament helps her in risky situations since she stays so calm. She's also willing to do whatever she needs to do to achieve her goals, even if it's through unfair means. This is both a strength but also a weakness since it can get her or others hurt.

Odette is a people-pleaser and this can take quite a toll on her at times. She worries so much about what other people want that she forgets to take care of herself as well. She also pushes herself a bit when it comes to being 'perfect' or good at things. This is mostly due to her upbringing. Sometimes she'll push herself until she can't take it anymore or it impacts her physical health. Overthinking is a big problem of hers as well. Sometimes, she gets too caught up in her thoughts and it causes problems. Odette tends to jump to the worst possible solution for things and it can lead to risky behavior on her part.

Honestly, Odette just wants to be around someone who thinks she's perfect the way she is and accepts her for that, instead of pushing her to strive for absolute perfection. She needs to be surrounded by people who will support her no matter what. Of course, that doesn't mean she doesn't want them to push her to be her best self. She just doesn't need the unnecessary pressure of being 'perfection'. She needs someone who can learn to respect her and her boundaries and who is willing to let her talk to them about things. She would love to have a successful PR career in the future as well. She loves planning events and doing management type duties.

Odette was considered a child prodigy at a young age, being able to learn things quickly and pick up a multitude of talents. Her parents had hope that she would grow up into the perfect, successful young lady. So she was taught that she had to be perfect. Everything she did had to meet a level of perfection. She was under scrutiny at a young age. She did ballet, learned to play piano, and learned to play the violin in just a few years. Not only was she talented, she was academically gifted as well. Almost being a straight A student. Anything lower resulted in reprimand. This pressure was a lot on a girl at such a young age though. Being pushed past her physical and mental limits almost daily took a toll on her. After one of her recitals, one of the stage crew followed her back to her dressing room and took advantage of her. This happened on several occasions. She tried to tell her parents but they made her go back there anyways, their judgment clouded with the thought that their daughter could make them famous. Then another incident happened. A prop wasn't secured correctly and caused her to get injured, leaving two vertical scars along her back. She had been severely injured because of this and was hospitalized for a few weeks. Odette started acting out at home, refusing, refusing to do as told, sick of the ideals being forced upon her. Her mother had been scolding her for her behavior and had grabbed Odette's hand and pressed the back of her thumb on the stove eye, burning her. This left a pretty bad scar that she covers with gloves now. This wasn't the end of the physical altercations but was likely one of the worst. Eventually, she started to behave just right to get it to stop. And it did for a while. Once she got the chance, she left that life behind but not without a bunch of trauma. Years of therapy and medications have helped her acclimate to a relatively normal life though. She picked up some extra hobbies, like knife throwing and became quite good at it. She took some self-defense classes because her therapist recommended them. She is working on changing her mindset when it comes to perfection but because it's so deeply ingrained, she sometimes has a harder time during certain moments.
