Hotoshi POV
I was taking a stroll around town, I reached to bridge. My and dad used to jog up here when I trained in the summer, it brought back memories of my mother as well... with a sigh I continued my walk up the bridge. That's when I saw him, Izuku. He...
"...you promised..." I saw him freeze as he slowly turned his head to meet my gaze, after a couple seconds he turned back towards the water. That's when I hit my breaking point.

"...you promised me you'd never leave me! You promised we'd get into UA together! You promised we'd be the top hero's! WHY ARE YOU BREAKING OUR PROMISES!?" I felt tears fall from my eyes as he started shaking, he stepped off the edge and started sobbing. I wrapped my arms around him tightly, like as if I were to let go he'd be gone forever.

"...why..?" I heard him mumbling, I pulled his face up to mine and kissed his forehead.
"..you... you are one of the only things I ever cared about. Your the reason I actually try in school, I do it so we could get into UA together. I never forgot about the promises we made that day... Izuku.. I've been in love with you since we were 4 on that first day of pre school.. I made my mum a promise that day... that I'd do whatever you needed me to do to make you happy... I don't want to break her promise, but I need you in my life... so please... don't do that again.." I said as I wiped the tears off his face. He looked down for a couple seconds, before he held up his pinky finger.

"I-I made a promise t-to you... I-I don't b-break p-promises..." he stuttered as I grabbed his finger in mine. He looked up at me, like he was nervous. I'll never forget what he did, he pushed his lips on mine forcefully. I went wide eyed, soon I felt my body relax as my eyes fluttered shut.

Shoto POV
I went upstairs looking for Izuku, I found out he cut yesterday and I just wanted to make sure he wasn't doing it again. I walked into his room, no one. I looked around a little for some razors that might be hidden, I found his phone on is desk, the app open was notes. Me being my curious self I decided to look at his current note, I soon realized it was a suicide note.

I ran back downstairs with tears making it difficult to see, I knew where he went. His favourite bridge, which also happens to be the biggest bridge in Japan! It was a 2 minute run from where we lived, I got there in 30 seconds thanks to my quirk. I jumped onto the bridge hoping it wasn't to late, that's when I saw Izuku K I S S I N G! A random dude with purple hair... why does that sound familiar..? Wait! That's Izuku's childhood friend! I ran up to where they were.

"BROTHER!!!" I yelled as they pulled away from the kiss, they both whipped their heads towards me. Izuku immediately started tearing up and ran towards me and gave me a hug.
"..please don't do that again, you scared me to death.. I can't survive endeavour without you.." I said as I hugged him, I looked back over to the other human and mouthed a 'sorry I ruined the moment' as I stroked Izuku's hair.
"O-oh, sorry Shoto. By the way this is Hotoshi, my chi-" I cut him off
"Your childhood best friend who you've also been madly in love with since I've known you." I said in my same monotone voice, I saw Hotoshi and Izuku both blush as red as my hair.

Izuku POV
'SHOTO WTF!!! THAT WAS SOOO EMBARRASSING!!!' I thought as I glared at him. I heard Toshi chuckle, I turned my eyes to meet his. We both stared at each other with loving eyes for at least 5 minutes before Shoto finally got fed up.
"Oh my god! Just make it back by morning Izuku!" He yelled as he turned around winking, I blushed like crazy at his next sentence.
"JUST REMEMBER TO USE CONDOMS! IT HURTS LIKE A BITCH IF YOU DONT PREP FIRST!!" He yelled even louder before using his quirk to run away.

Hotoshi and I were just sitting there in silence holding hands as we blushed like idiots...
"I like your *cough* " he says gesturing towards my outfit, I blush like crazy not even realizing what I was wearing.

"Ah! Thanks! I-I didn't even n-notice I-I was wearing t-this..." I said blushing even harder if that was even possible. That's when I noticed, I felt happy.. for the first time in years. But the moment was short lived as Toshi stood up he offered me a hand, I gladly accepted but as I did I piece of paper fell from my pocket. I tried to pick it up before Hotoshi, but he got to it first... I looked down as I plugged my ears worried about his reaction...

Hotoshi POV
I picked up the sheet of paper... I was a poem.

"Deep scars can heal over time,
well that's not true since it's all a LIE.
The scars may disappear,
But lying deep within is a child feeling a whip to his skin,
Filling with horror and blame screaming at his name,
He raises his head,
Knowing the world is the one the blame,
Hey says his final words,
Screaming in pain,
The only problem is...
...He's screaming my name..."

I looked back up at him with tears in my eyes.
"T-this is beautiful.." I said as I hugged him.
"B-but there's a deeper meaning then y-your leading o-on isn't t-there.." I say as I pull away from our hug, Izuku doesn't need to say anything for me to know what's going on.
"Come on, your sleeping at my house tonight.." I said as I carried him bridle style off the bridge, much to his complaining. I smiled down at a now sleeping Izuku.

"I promise you, you'll never be alone as long as I'm here..." I said as I lent down and kissed his head.

'Okay.. I trust you.. Hotoshi..'
