~Third Person P.O.V~

A/N It's totally not a date...

Katsuki's breath hitched in his throat, as his fingers grazed the carboard and the message in Braille that rest on it. Quickly, he scooped it up into his arms- shutting and locking the door behind him as he went over to sit on the floor beside his bed.

With shaky fingers, he opened the flap, which ripped awkwardly due to him roughness with the tape that secured it close. As soon as his index finger came into contact with the cold metal pole he pulled his hand back.

As if it had burned him to the touch.

A myriad of feelings pooled in him yet his face remained stoic and listless, his eyes burning with intensity as he reluctantly went to grab the length of the cane. Minutes had passed and Katsuki still remained seated where he was, firm grasp on the now warmer White Cane.

Then another knock came, instantly recognizing it as Izuku's he pushed the box as well as the cane underneath his bed. Pulling his blanket down to touch the floor so the smaller male wouldn't see it.

"Come in!" Katsuki announced, only to realize he had never gotten dressed.

"What the heck have you been doing this entire time?" Izuku chuckled when he seen Katsuki's bare back facing him. "Need some help finding clothes?" He asked, his voice going softer when he spoke.

The blond shook his head fervently, only to nod his head yes after a few seconds. "It's easier for school because we have uniforms... but I haven't actually gone anywhere since the whole me being blind thing happened." Katsuki grumbled.

Izuku's expression softened at the elder's words, nipping the flesh of his bottom lip as he stalks off to one of Katsuki's drawers.

"Okay... shirt, or hoodie?" Izuku asked, pulling out one of the blond's skull T-shirts and an orange and black hoodie. "Well, both technically..." He murmured to himself.

The blond let out an amused scoff, a silken smile twitching on his lips for a bit.

'God damn it, he'll be the death of me.'

----------------------

The pair definitely got a multitude of stares from their classmates on their way out. Izuku's face sported an eager and jubilant expression as he dragged a stoic faced Katsuki down the long hallways of U.A.

"You wanna tell me where the hell we're going, or?" Katsuki trailed off, his hand instinctively squeezing the smaller male's as they walked- at an abnormally fast pace.

Izuku shook his head, only to soon realize the blond couldn't see him do it. "Nope!" He exclaimed, popping the 'p' in the word. "It's a surprise Kit Kat so hush."

"'Kit Kat?'" Katsuki mused, usually being used to his normal 'Kacchan' nickname.

"I'm trying something new here... you hate it, don't you?" The green haired boy asked, heat pooling in his cheeks.

A throaty chuckle escaped Katsuki's lips as he bit down on the skin, trying to contain it. "No, no I like it- I'll just have to get used to being nicknamed after a chocolate wafer bar." He snickered, shoulders shaking as he did so.

Izuku pursed his lips, his feet instantly coming to a halt causing the taller teen to bump into him with a low grunt.

"I can always keep calling you Kacchan you know? I just thought of Kit Kat because of your first name, but if you hate I'll stop." Izuku said lowly, keeping his back pressed against Katsuki's chest as he spoke.

Heaving a sigh, the elder placed two broad hands on Izuku's shoulders- forcing him to turn around. "Izuku," Katsuki started, receiving all of his attention at the sound of his first name. "You think to much into things... I almost forgot that about you. Learn to be more confident, if want to call me Kit Kat then do it- just don't drop 'Kacchan', okay?"

"Are you finally admitting you like me calling you Kacchan?" Izuku smirked, softly fisting his hands into the fabric of Katsuki's hoodie.

"I'm not admitting to shit," Katsuki snorted, albeit the grin on his lips gave him away completely. "Now hurry the hell up so I can find out where we're going."

Pivoting on his heel Izuku leads the way once more, rambling on about a multitude of topics from school to his personal life. He was almost certain that the blond wasn't paying attention- which he was dead wrong about- so it gave him the 'confidence' to talk freely about it.

Katsuki closed his eyes as they walked, soaking in the vibrant and slight high pitched voice Izuku spoke in. His words filling the blind teen's ears like a sweet tune he wanted to listen to on repeat, relishing in the way they sounded coming off the tip of Izuku's tongue.

If he had a choice... he would listen to Izuku talk for hours at end.

He found his voice quite relaxing.

The blond berated himself a little, wishing that he had noticed the beauty of the younger's voice before. Wishing he had chose to stay friends with Izuku instead of make his life a living hell. Wishing he could take back every single thing he said to belittle the boy. Wishing he could start over.

Was this what this all was for him?

A fresh start?

A new beginning for the two?

For a chance to make things better with Izuku. Damn, that sounded nice to the taller male- to be able to start over with the freckled boy. As long as he didn't do the Katsuki thing to do and fuck it all up.

Because that was not an option.

--------------------------

Loud chatter and tires screeching against damp pavement soon took over Izuku's nonstop prolix.

"Where the fuck are we?" Katsuki asked, nose and mouth twisted up as his blond brow pulled together. Then the smells soon crept up his nostrils. "Is this the fucking carnival?"

"Yes," Izuku said with a huff, "But we aren't getting on any rides... if you don't want to. I brought you here for a different reason."

Still clearly perplexed, Katsuki allowed himself to be dragged through crowds of people- not at all enjoying the fact that he couldn't see them. Or anything for that matter.

Izuku led the boy to a small table in the core of all the chaos surrounding them, seating a reluctant Katsuki down with a soft smile.

"Okay just-" The green haired teen looked over his shoulder, "- wait right here, I'll be right back I promise."

The ruby eyed teen simply nodded his head, curiosity scratching away at the pit of his stomach- itching to come out. Why were they even here? He had noted how excited the smaller male seemed, which only fed into his need to know what the hell was going on. After about twenty minutes or so, Izuku was back.

A strong, and delicious smell of food tagging along with him.

"There's like this food truck thing going on here, so a bunch of different foods are being sold here. From American food to Indian... I figured since you like to cook and eat so much it'd be fun." Izuku intoned. "Plus thought since you can't see it'd be like this fun taste testing thing for you-"

Katsuki clasped his hand over Izuku's mouth, or at least that's what he aimed for. Instead his palm went over the boy's eyes, which he flushed a bright red at.

"What did I tell you earlier?" Katsuki asked, cocking an eyebrow as he lowered his hand.

The curly haired teen blushed, his eyes flickering down to his lap. "Right. Sorry Kit Kat..."

"We need to work on the whole you apologizing for everything too." Katsuki uttered, turning his attention back onto the food. "Alright, let's see what you've got for me nerd!"

--------------

The pair laughed as they talked away under the fluorescent lights of the carnival, eating and chatting about a myriad of topics. Katsuki was currently indulging in the gelato Izuku had bought for him, trying his best not smile as he ate it.

"You have gelato on your lips." Izuku giggled, stealing a quick bite from the blond's frozen desert.

Katsuki tongue instinctively stuck out to lick his lips, trying to find the food that resided on them. "Did I get it?" He asked, still not all that certain that he did.

"Nope." Izuku grinned, Katsuki's had completely missed the gelato entirely- which the younger found quite amusing.

The freckled male brought his finger up to Katsuki's lips, padding his thumb in the corner of the blond's mouth. Swiping away at any trace of the Italian ice cream. Izuku's eyes darted up to look at Katsuki's, the blind teen's pupils blown wide as the smaller male's thumb never left their position.

"Uhm," Izuku chuckled lowly, clearing his throat. "You up for a carnival ride?"
