Aiko finds ancient scrolls in the tomb that reveal the full origin of the curse. It began with a powerful sorceress, Aiko's ancestor, who was betrayed by her closest allies and cursed to eternal unrest. The curse now binds Aiko to a spirit world, where an ancient darkness is growing stronger, preparing to consume both realms.

Spirit: "You are the last of the Kurohara bloodline. Your power is the key to the gate between the living and the dead. But beware, child... the darkness stirs, and it seeks to consume you."
