Cozbi Themba dealt in many things - loss, death, hurt and most importantly, lies. Her home was fragile, her situation a ticking time bomb that she was watching. Everyone wanted to know about this transfer student who moved a month into the school year. They would ask questions; What do you like? Where are you from? What can you do? And most importantly: who are you?

Cozbi panicked. There was no way she could tell them what was really going on. That her mom had lost her job. Her father had left. They couldn't afford the tutors she used to have. Her brothers were spending more time with the police than in school. So she did the obvious thing. She lied.

She lied about everything, weaving tales so seamlessly you would never think she could be mistruthing. Everything was perfect, every lie fitting into an intricate tangle that she had no way out of. Cozbi didn't like lying, but sometimes it was necessary. Most of the time, it was the only way.

The funny thing was, she hated being lied to. She hated it if you looked her in the eyes and didn't tell her the truth. She hated it when she found out that your words were meaningless.

Her biggest goal was to find a friend who she could confide in, a friend who she could finally tell the truth. After Cozbi finds herself at the wrong place at the wrong time, Spider-Man becomes that person. The one she can confide in. The one she can tell the truth.

But then she finds herself falling for a boy in her Chemistry* class. And unfortunately, that makes life a lot more complicated. Because of course, the boy Cozbi finds herself falling for is the one and only Peter Parker - the one who carries the biggest secret.

Additional Information:

- Please change the summary. It sucks.

- Cozbi's father leaves, her mom loses her job, and she, her older and younger brothers and her mother move from Manhattan to Queens. Her family can't afford the private tutors she used to have, so she transfers to Midtown (a fancy but still less expensive school).

-Her mother finds another job later.

- Cozbi doesn't get along with her mother or her brothers, Ekon and Amare . They fight all the time.

-Ekon also goes to Midtown, but Amare's in middle school so he goes somewhere else.

- Her mother works a lot, so she never sees her.

- Cozbi never slips. She is really good at remembering all the lies she has told, so she always sticks to her story. Cozbi starts only lying a little bit, but as time goes on, she gets so tangled in her own web that she can't find her way out.

-Peter accidentally gives himself away one day by saying something that she told Spider-Man. She then guesses the rest to his great dismay.

- Cozbi and Peter are friends but not too close until she starts to fall for him.

- Cozbi is very smart and sassy.

- She moves a few months into the school year, and Peter is assigned to be her guide. This is how they become friends, but it is never more than that until much later.

- Flash calls her Thumbelina, but she hates the nickname.

- Peter and Cozbi are a slow burn.

- Cozbi feels ultimately betrayed when she guesses his secret

- For her family: I was thinking  Tyrel Jackson Williams as Ekon, Chosen Jacobs as Amare, Jason Momoa as her father (Xavier* Themba), and Nafessa Williams as her mom (Abeni Kieta*).

-You can change her Mom's name, but she should have a different last name than Cozbi's father.

- Cozbi looks like her dad. Her brothers look like her mom. Jason Momoa isn't really the right actor for this role, so you can choose another actor who looks like Kelsey Chow.
