Carlyne Bamidele has been running her whole life. Running from the place she used to call home. Running from the only family she ever had. Running from what she should have been. Running from her dreams. Time is relative to her - it seems as if the only thing she has ever known is running.

Her home was broken from the start. Parents who were part of an organization so secret they would never mention its name. Yet an organization they lived for more than they lived for their daughter. And so she ended up a monster. A monster forced to steal and thieve for them because she could make the whole world freeze with a snap of her fingers. She was their puppet, their creation. She was their experiment and their sole triumph. What they called their greatest success was her greatest failure. Until one day she managed to outrun her captors and finally found herself free in the wild world.

She never meant to leave it all behind, but it just happened that way. She never meant to get on the radar of the most famous superheroes on Earth, but it just happened that way. Life rarely goes as planned when you run from everything and everyone.

Carlyne tried to outwit the people chasing her - and ended up running straight into the very people she was trying to avoid. The Avengers. And this time, she didn't escape. Caught and charged for her crimes, Carlyne was given two choices. Go to juvie. Or join the Avengers and learn to hone her powers. Against her better judgment, she stays. And meets a certain speedster who she just can't wait to outrun.

- Obviously Pietro didn't die in AOU. How he survived is up to you.

- Carlyne's powers are that she can stop time. At first, she was pretty shaky about controlling it, but now she is better. It drains her, but she can make the whole slow to a complete halt.

- Her parents would use this ability and make her steal equipment and other things.

- She was caught on a few video tapes and got on S.H.I.E.l.D's radar. Fury deployed the Avengers to take her into custody.

- Carlyne's parents were NOT part of Hydra. They worked for another organization that tried to triumph Hydra's accomplishments by creating their own mutant.

- Carlyne and Pietro flirt a lot. But they're a slow burn.

- Carlyne escapes from her parents - but while running away from them runs into the Avengers and is apprehended.

- She tries to run away from the Avengers a few times. It doesn't work.

- All the Avengers tease Pietro because Carlyne beats him in a race. She is the first person ever to do that, and brags about it all the time.

- Wanda and Carlyne are good friends, although in the beginning Wanda is mistrustful of her.

- You can chose the faceclaims for her parents.

- This will probably be multiple acts. I have it all planned out to share with the person who takes the plot.
