Avery Lively knew five things for certain. Number one, she was completely and absolutely in love with Harry Potter. Number two, Harry Potter had completely and absolutely no feelings for her. Number three, Draco Malfoy certainly had a thing for her. Number four, she certainly did not have a thing for him. And number five? Using Draco Malfoy would make Harry Potter jealous.

She had tried everything since her third year to get Harry to notice her. To like her. But he never glanced her way. Why should he? He was the Gryffindor Golden Boy and she was a Slytherin nobody. And yet for some reason, Draco Malfoy wouldn't leave her alone! She had made her feelings for him very clear but he never got the hint. So Avery hatched her master plan, an idea that could bring her out of the shadows. An idea that could make her visible to the school, and maybe, to Harry. Maybe what they needed was a little adversary.

But as her plan doesn't go as planned and things spiral out of control, Avery finds herself doing something she never thought she'd every do. Adding a sixth bullet point. Number six: that in her pursuit to make her so-called one true love notice her, she'd fallen for someone else.
