Chapter 24: Tea Time
(YO IM ALLOWED TO WRITE RYUSHOT FOR THE NEXT FOUR CHAPTERS, LEZZZ GOOOOO.
This chapter ain't even that good lmao.)
September 22nd.
"Koko, wake up."
He didn't wake up before her. He only did that if he had work. Even then, he wouldn't have work until 1pm. Huh.
The hell was going on?
"Koko?"
"Hm?"
"Happy birthday." He said. She remembered falling asleep on top of him, how'd he get up? (What were they doi-)
"Oh right." She sat up. Her bed head was so weird. "I forgot today was my birthday." She said.
"You were talking about it all week." He said. He put on a t shirt and walked downstairs. She took a moment to get dressed in a tshirt of his. The height difference was small so it only fell down to her thighs. Not much coverage. (Huh.)
Her phone was still on the charger. She could hear it buzzing and almost got tired of hearing it. She knew all it would say was 'Happy Birthday'. Then she would have to reply to all of them, saying thank you. That was so many people. But she was nice and would do it.
She started her long scroll in her contact list and walked down the stairs.
"Happy Birthday!"
"You too-" she realized what she just said and almost screamed. She felt stupid for saying it. She buried her face in the crook of his neck. (Me forgetting they don't have a height difference like Reiko and Shinsou and have a Dabi x Me height difference.)
"You're adorable." He said.
"I'm not." She pouted. "I'm the least cutest person you've ever met. That wasn't proper grammar-" she looked at him.
"You've never craved this much attention." He said. His eyebrows furrowed.
Ryuko glanced away. She recalled many nights when she craved that much attention. Or at least physical attention. Like... many nights... ( I'm snickering in my room rn omg-)
"I want attention on my birthday. Is that too much to ask?" She asked. He gave her a kiss on her forehead before finding his way out of their hug. She pouted and sat down. He got to be even taller for once. That was nice.
She was busy saying thank you to everyone. Taishiro and the kids called her to wish her a happy birthday. The kid she never met, his nephew, was with them as well. Momo, Eijirou, and a cousin with her brother.
Ryuko thanked them as well.

Animal Crossing: tell him he's not good enough for you
Rumi hated Shinya. They met once and she absolutely despised him for even being near her best friend. The Yuyu to her Nejire-
Ryuko continued to scroll through the happy birthdays. The bridal party gave her big happy birthdays. Her four friends that owned a adoption center made a cute call with a few of the animals. Shinya and her thought it was adorable, especially since Ryuko adopted Aurora from the exact adoption center.
They loved it.

(RYUSHOT HAS LEFT THE CHAT)
Later that day, Ryuko walked into the tea house. She had chosen the place, and was confident in it. She had chosen the dress Shinya picked out and was excited to wear it in public. Her friends were already there and she was the last one. She wasn't late or anything! She was serious when it came to punctuality. Rumi just told her to come in at a certain time and she just obeyed. Meant more time with Shinya. (0-0)
She looked gorgeous in her dress. It fell to her knees, it was loose, it had tank top sleeves. She looked gorgeous. Red looked amazing on her so...
The inside was formal. She had never seen Rumi look so formal. She wasn't wearing a dress (that was expected), but she wore a sleeveless romper and her hair was tied up nicely.
"Happy Birthday!" Rumi said, picking her up and spinning her around. When she put her down, Ryuko got a chance to look at her.
"You look so nice!" Ryuko gasped. Rumi looked unimpressed with herself, but that was expected. Ryuko wandered around, absolutely amazed. Rumi just dragged her around when she got stuck looking at something for too long.
All of her friends actually dressed up. She wasn't that surprised.
"Happy Birthday!"
Ryuko smiled and gave a hug to all of her guests. Nejire looked so happy to see her.
Yes, most women had bachelorette parties at home, nightclubs, bars, etc. but she purposely picked a tea house. She liked tea a lot...
Momo was critiquing the tea. She thought it was bland even with sugar. Ryuko laughed a bit, watching her face scrunch up to criticize the tea. Nejire nudged her a bit, telling her to stop.
"I would've gone to a club." Rumi teased her, messing with her teacup.
"When you and Keigo get married, you can go to a nightclub." Ryuko smirked. Rumi's eyes went wide and she pulled on Ryuko's cheek.
"You're lucky I love you." She said, "no homo."
"I love you too, no homo." Ryuko said, bringing her cup to her lips.
As Ryuko was talking, Nejire looked over to Momo and asked her a question. "Is Tamaki going to the wedding?"
"He might. He's not a fan of sunny weather." It wasn't a lie. He really wasn't a fan of the weather, because, ya know... death! "He's thinking about it."
"Oh." Nejire's happiness deflated. She knew his answer was uncertain but now Momo just said he most likely wouldn't be going.
Dammit.
She thought about telling him she liked him at the wedding.
Damn. She had prepared a whole speech about how she found it weird that she developed a crush after three(?) 'dates' and that she was fine with rejection.
Now she couldn't say how she felt.
(AHAHAAAA IM ON A RYUSHOT HIGH. ITS LIKE A SUGAR HIGH BUT ITS ME. And like, lemme just say Ragdoll x Tensei Iida... yes.
Sorry for no chapter yesterday. This one took a while.)
