I was surprised when you asked me to dance with you under the moonlight

Everyone at the party around us seem to have disappeared

My heart skip a beat when your strong gentle hands softly touch my waist

I nervously placed my small hands on your broad shoulders, as we slowly danced to romantic Mexican music

My boring brown eyes saw forever in your chocolate eyes

You smelled like heaven the closer we got

Your contiguous laugh will forever be engraved in my heart

I can still remember the sweet lies you whispered to me

You promised the distance wouldn't tear us apart

Our late night chats and your buenos días amor made me think our love would last forever

We said our goodbyes when you texted

We are better off as friends
