Sara's POV

Some months passed and I was doing my best to forget Ava. My relationship with Sebastian gave me respect from the other vampires, I was untouchable.

Sebastian taught me how to hunt humans and how to subjugate them. He showed me vampires' life.
It was quite funny, I admit it, but I missed my old life.

I was on the balcony, wearing one of Sebastian's shirts, wondering where Ava was and what she was doing.
-Why don't you come downstairs? The party is not complete without you- Sebastian said kissing my neck.

I smiled while he moved his hands on my sides.
-You look gorgeous with my shirt on- he said.

I smirked.

-Why aren't you with you friends? They are waiting for you- I said.

-And leave you here alone?-.

-I was thinking to go out and hunt, I'm thirsty. Don't worry, I'll be good. When you will come back you find me here- I said kissing him.
He nodded sighing.

When he left I changed clothes and exited the building.
It was night and milions of stars were above me.

I arrived in a bar, ready to find my prey. I found it after some minutes: it was a woman, long blonde hair, very tall.

It was easy convince her to follow me outside, too easy.
I was drinking her blood when I felt something hit my leg.

I looked and I was that a piece of wood hit it and now it was bleeding.
-Oh no- I said taking that piece of wood.

Another piece of wood hit my back, arriving close to my heart.
It meant only one thing: someone wanted to kill me. I had to leave faster than I could!

I started running while I was bleeding. I started to feel weak and I could see clearly.

In some ways I arrived at Sebastian's apartment and entered it.
-Oh my God what happened!- he said looking at me.

He helped me lying on the bed while the wound was slowly healing.
-There was someone... This person hit me several times with wood and knew where to hit- I said.

He growled: he was angry and I could understand it.

-You'll heal, don't worry. I'll find that hunter and he'll pray me to kill him- he said sitting next to me.

While I was there, with him, near ti death, the only thing I could think about was Ava.

Ava's POV

-Did you heard guys?- Nora said entering the kitchen.

While Sara was away I stayed with the Legends sometimes, to help them.

-What?- Ray asked kissing her.

-Three vampires have been found dead tonight- she said.

-The same hunter of the past two weeks?- I asked.

-It could be, same way of kill them: one shot in the leg, one in the back and one in the heart- she said.

I looked at the news: no one of them was Sara.

I sighed and the guys noticed that.

-She can take care of herself Ava, don't worry- Ray said knowing who I was thinking about.

Sara, where are you?
