Ava's POV

The exact moment when that piece of wood hit Sara's chest I felt my heart stop.

If it would have hit her heart Sara would be dead.

And my mind couldn't accept it.
She wasn't moving, she wasn't doing anything.

I heard Sebastian and Oliver growl behind me.

-Why did you do that?!- Sebastian said.

-Really? You don't understand it by yourself?- Tyler said laughing -You killed my family, all of them. Now it's my turn-.

Sebastian growled loudly: he loved Sara, now it was all clear!

-Now it's your turn to see all the people you love die- Tyler said.

Sebastian growled and attacked him.
-Take her away from here!- he said following Tyler.

I runned to Sara: she was so cold!
-Felicity called the Legends, they should be here soon- Oliver said.

Indeed after some seconds they arrived, just in time to bring Sara to the Waverider med bay.

-Gideon! Can you do something??- I said.
-I'm sorry, I can't. You just have to remove the wood and pray- Gideon said.

I did like she said. I was so nervous, so angry!

All the Legends left the room and I left me alone with Sara. No one was expecting her to wake up.
I could feel tears falling on my cheeks, I couldn't stop crying.

-You can't leave me... When did a Legend ever go quiet?- I said to her.
-I love you, please don't leave me alone-.

I don't know how much time passed but at a certain point Oliver and Sebastian entered the room.

I was furious with Sebastian, it was all his fault if Sara was dying!

-Tyler is gone- Oliver said.

He kissed Sara forehead and left.
Sebastian approached.

-Don't you dare to come closer!- I said -This is all your fault!-.

I got up and walked towards him.
-She is dying because of you!- I yelled.
-I know, I know and I'm here to say that I'm sorry. I'll never forgive myself for what I did. I have been selfish- he said.

-I'm never going to forgive you. I don't want to see you again here!- I said.

We heard a noise and turned to Sara; I couldn't believe what I was seeing: she was awake and she was trying to sit but she was too weak.

-Oh my God- I said running to her and helping her.

-Ava...- she said in a low voice.

I smiled without stopping crying and I kissed her.
She kissed me back hugging me.

-I'm sorry, I'm so sorry- she said.
-For what? I understand why you left me, seriously- I said.

She smiled weakly and kissed me again.

-I love you- she said.

Sara's POV

After kissing Ava I turned to Sebastian.

-Where is him?- I asked.
-He is dead- he answered.
I smiled.

-Ava? Can you leave us alone please?- I asked her.

She wasn't sure but at the end she nodded and left the room.

-I...- I started but Sebastian interrupted me.

-It's my fault, if I wouldn't... I'm sorry, you'll never see me again- he said.

I tried to stand but I was still to weak. He approached and said that I had to rest.

-It's not your fault- I said -Keep protecting the city ok?-.

He smiled.

-Bad vampires will never stay there until I will be alive- he said.

I smiled and he walked away.
He would have always been a friend for me.

After a few days I was like before, a powerful vampire and a captain. Oh and i was going to become a wife too in a few months.

Ava proposed to me the day I woke up.

I love her so much, what did I do to deserve her?

Maybe there isn't only Hell for vampires...
