Long ago, there was Selene.

Selene had created the stars and lived among the stars. She then created the planets and world we know today, along with the moon that revolves around it. She gave each planet a ruler, each were given a specific assignment. This led to the birth of Queen Amulet of the moon. As the guardian of the moon, she took it upon herself to protect her home and the world from sudden danger.

Decades later, she was married to one of the guardians of earth and had three children, Chérie, Himeko, and Kaguya. Himeko, the youngest child, had been loved by many in the starry heavens but Kaguya, the second oldest, was deemed jealous.

After many years of spite and jealousy, Kaguya drew into a fit and spilled her tears on the legendary black hole, giving her a new title; Luna the New Moon.

All were terrified of the princess's newfound powers and were much too weaker than her. But Queen Amulet was able to take a stand. "Why must you do this?" She asked, "Why must you do this to your family?" Luna giggles, "To take what was supposed to be mine.

"But why must you bring your sister into this?"

"She will never, ever be my sister. Even if the blood runs through our veins, I will not accept her as it. I shall give 28 days for thousands and thousands of years. Himeko, on the night of the new moon, will grow weaker and weaker until she has no power to stay alive. And after my work has been finished, I shall take over the universe and terrorise all who have hopes and dreams beyond the stars."

Luna had vowed to her own mother, and swore to wait for that day. But the Queen couldn't accept it. From her own tears, tiny creatures were formed, a creature that is called a Moonii. She gave them a simple task and it's to watch all the dreams of everything, and do not let Luna corrupt them.

On the first night of the full moon and the end of Amulet's bitter sorrow, the Moonii's come out into the night, looking at what's under them.

And to protect the young princess, Amulet had called in the Star Patrol, a star named Hoshimaru. She gave him her words; "There is someone out there that is just like you. When you find them, the both of you must reach to where the black hole is and confront Luna once and for all. The stars will align and the two of you will be star-crossed. Oh sweet child with a swift heart, look at the shining bright star and follow where it is taking you."

After her desperate words, his journey for the stars had only just begun.
