I got up from my seat on the couch when I heard the door bell ring. I opened the door to see David standing there shyly. "So, what are we going to do?" I asked him as I walked out of my house, closing the door behind me. "I thought that we should take a stroll through the park, maybe?" He said unsure.

"Okay, that's fine with me." I look over at him and see the bags under his eyes. 'Has he been getting enough sleep? Has he been having nightmares again?' I thought silently to myself until I realized that we were at the park.

"Are you okay?" I ask him, unable to wash away my concerns. For once, I feel an emotion that I think is worry but, I am unsure. "Yeah, why do you ask?" His face became red as he looked at me. "You have bags under your eyes and your face is red. I was just wondering if you slept well last night."

"Yeah, don't worry I slept well. What about you?" David asked as he held my hand slightly. I began to feel a tingling feeling in my stomach. 'Why is it that when I'm with him I suddenly feel emotions?' I questioned myself and then turned back to him to answer "I had a weird dream last night but, other than that I slept well."

"Hmmm.. what was your dream about? Can you describe it to me?" His amber eyes stared at me, waiting for an answer. "Well, I was in a field of moonflowers and the sun was setting so, the field was a beautiful purple." I leave out the part where I thought about my emotions. "Well, the sunset can mean many things but, usually moonflowers have the same meaning."

"And what is that?" I asked, intrigued. "Well, moonflowers mean dreaming of love. So maybe your dream has something to do about you loving, wanting to love, or want the love of someone."

'How did he get all of that from a flower?' I wondered as we kept walking at a steady pace. David looked around, not knowing what to do or say until his eyes landed on an ice cream stand. "Hey, want some ice cream?" He asked.

"Sure." I replied as I walked up to it with him. "What flavor do you want? I'll pay." He said happily. I opened my mouth to protest when he looked at me sternly like he wasn't going to let me pay no matter what. "Umm, I'll have vanilla." I said quietly. "Ok, one vanilla and one cheesecake." He smiled and handed me mine.

We kept walking until he suddenly stopped. I stopped and turned to face him, "hey, why did you-"

"Tobi, I like you. Will you go out with me?"
