"I love you so much." I slurred. I think I had way to much to drink. Alaric had me in his arms walking to his room. "We need to go back to our engagement party."

"Princess everyone is either passed out drunk or left. The party is over." He says laying me on the bed and taking my heels off.

My body felt nice. Nice numb. I lifted my hand up in hair and saw the ring on my finger.

"I'm engaged to the love of my life." I slurred. Alaric smiled softly and leaned down to kiss my forehead. He layed next to me. Here we were laying down staring at eachother. "Does that mean you are going to mark me?"

"On our wedding night." He says.

"I can't wait." I say softly. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

I can see myself with him for the rest of my life. The moment I saw him I knew I had a connection much deeper than just protection. Which I saw as impossible.

"Alaric what did you mean when I was younger... You saw me crying and told me to bury my saddness in the moondust." I asked.

"The moondust can also bury many things that a person has felt or done in a bad way or negative." He says. "Take me for example I have done unforgivable things and I also have felt in a negative ways. I bury all that the moondust, accept what I have done or felt,let go and move on. But in too do the moondust is a shine to our lives which is love. I used to not believe in that as much but that went out the window the moment you came back."

"When did you realise you were in love with me." I asked.

He smiled a little.

"Remeber when I took you to Paris on a business trip well we had that long walk at night. I couldn't take my eyes off of you and how you smiled. That moment I couldn't see my life without you in it." He says. He was touching my face.

I smiled.

"I love you." I tell him. Kissing him.

Everything is going perfect for me. I have a man that loves, cares and protects me. I have a thriving career, friends and family that love me.

I'm so blessed.

I woke up the next day feeling terrible. My head felt as if it was going to explode. I had some aspirin next to Alarics bed. Which I took quickly.

Where was my fiance. Oh it hit me I'm engaged. That brought a smile to my face. I got showered and ready. Since Alaric and I have been dating for a while. I've left a few of my things here and there. By things I had clothes, beauty products, my hair products, tooth brush, shoes and what not here already.

I when down stairs cleaned and somewhat with a lesser headache. I found the maids all around.

"Miss Dela Rosa would you like breakfast?" Asked Claire which I nodded.

"Where is Alaric." I asked.

She tensed up a bit. That's weird.

"He's dealing with some work." She says.

"What or who is he with." I asked a lot more firm. Which she messed with her hands.

"I don't know."

With that's she walked away. Where was he. Why didn't Claire want to tell me.

That's when it hit me. There is this room at the end of the house that he's never shown me. He might be there.

I walked over to the room at the end of the house. I opened to the door. I was surpried it was unlocked.

It led me to a dark stairs ally. Shit this place is scary as fuck. What the hell. Should I call John to come and accompany me?

I took a deep breathe. And went down the stairs. Which led to and underground lair with many passage ways. When i went through one of the passage ways that led to prison like place.

The men In this cells growled when they saw me. They all yelled out.

"Who's the babe." I hear a guy in a sinister voice. Which made me run out.

Why does Alaric have these men here. They all look evil, badly tortured. I went into a another passage way. Which made me walk more careful when I heard a yell of pain.

"PLEASE STOP!" It's a male voice. He sound badly injured. The pain voice he heard clear as day. It was haunting in a way.

"What the fuck did I tell you."

It was Alarics voice.

"Huh?" He says. "Did you forget i already kill your wife and kids."

"You told me to tell you what Bencio is planning." He says in pain and crying. "But I told you I don't know."

"Wrong anwser."

I walked a little closer to see. I was shocked to see the man's limbs torn off. Blood everywhere. He had no more arms. His two feet where cut off. I wanted to throw up.

That's what Alaric slashed his throat which made his head come off. Zaid and Donovan where there as well.

"What the hell are you doing here princess." He says it a demon like voice. He slowly turned to look at me

Princess my fucking ass.

With that I ran.

I ran for my life. Oh hell no. I've never seen Alaric act like that. So Barbarian.

He was like that monster that parents told their kids about. They way his face and voice looked and sounded and what he was going to that man. It was a living nightmare.

I had no idea where I was going. It was like an maze. I just ran. Until he grabbed my arm and didn't let go.

He reached me quick.

"Enough!" He says firmly.

With that I stopped struggling. And stood there looking at him. He didn't have a shirt on and blood was all over his hands and chest. Some on his face.

"What are you doing here princess." He asked again.

"I was looking for you." I said. "Are you going to hurt me?"

He looked at me confused.

"Hurt you?" He says as if be couldn't believe what I just said. "I can never hurt you."

"I never seen you like that." I say.

"They are my enemies." He says.

"Did you really kill his wife and kids?" I asked. Alaric looked away from me. "That's so wrong Alaric."

"Its the prince that needs to be paid for the lives lost in the pack. They also have done way worst things." He says. "More than you know. They are just as cruel and will kill You any second. I'm doing what i have to do to protect my pack."

I couldn't argue with that. Sometimes things aren't always rainbow and butterflies. I don't agree with what he does but his intention are pure.

I guess it shocked me. I knew Alaric could be cruel with his enemies but I didn't know to what extent. Now I know.

"What about those prisoners?" I asked.

He searched his head.

"You saw that too didn't you?" He says as if a little boy caught with a cookie that he wasn't suppose to eat.

I nodded.

"I have enemies all over the world princess. All those men and women there have been trying to cause harm to the pack in some way." He says.

I wanted to get out of this place. It was scary and with a lot of evil creatures.

"Sorry I just shook. Never seen someone do what you did." I say.

He looked serious.

"Understandable." He says. "Let me get you back to the main house."

The rest of the day we talk about his enemies which he sure does have a lot that he needs to deal with but right now his concerned with capturing the leader of the rougues which is making a huge army at the moment.

Bencio Caster according to Alaric Bencio was dragged to the depths of hell which he ended up making a deal with the devil. Which consists of Bencio being given an army to destroy the world and take over in return for full domination.

I didn't know it was that serious.

"You act like if you've been to hell."I say during dinner.

He looked at me.

"I have been there for a few reasons." He says.

"For what?" I asked.

"Well when the devil calls me to go for some council meeting. Or when I was younger I fought in hell's Arena." He says.

"You are in his council?"I asked.

Which Alaric shakes his head.

"He wants me to be part of it." He says I just go everytime he calls.

"Why aren't you part of his council?" I asked.

"At what price." He says. "Remember everything to do with the devil comes with a price."

I nodded. In understanding.

"You are going to his a gorgeous bride." Says John doing my make up for a phototshoot.

"You think?" I say all happy.

"Oh yes." He says.

We were outside Romans pack house doing the photo shoot. All the alpha were going to arriving to have a meeting while i had a photo shoot outside.

Roman came outside to stand in front of the house. He hasn't talked to be every since the engagement. I think he's upset with me about that but oh well. An Alpha I didn't know arrived with his Luna.

I still had people around me fixing my hair, outfit, and make up.

The luna's eyes landed on me. Which ended with her screaming out and running towards me.

"Omg omg omg I am one of your biggest fans." She says. "I literally have all your albums and movies. I love you so much."

I laughed shyly.

"Thank you and thank you so much for supporting me." I say.

"I feel like I'm in a day dream meeting my idol." She says crying.

"My name is Gisele and that over there is my mate Michael." She says. Pointing at the guy next to here.

"Hello how are you." I say.

That's when Alaric arrived along with Donovan and Lux. That's when another car behind them arrived. It was it was luxurious car. When a lady with Beautiful blonde hair got out. She was a model for sure or something. She walked over to Alaric. Went to fix his collar.

Oh hell no.

I felt jealousy raging in me. Who the hell is she? Why is she close to my future HUSBAND!

Alaric stepped away from her and walked over to me. I felt hot and I think he knew due the way I was glaring at both of them. He came over and put his hand on my waist. He pulled me closer and kissed my temple.

"You two know eachother." Says the Luna.

"She's my bride." He says.

I looked over at the blonde. She was glaring at me.

Yeah she better stay away from my man. Because today I have time.
