I sat in the chair as breakfast was being served. John was busy talking about a new eye look he was going to do on me for the video shoot.

I wasn't really paying attention due to heart being hurt. Which is crazy. Why am I even hurt that he's like a pimp with many women? It's not like I even knew him that long.

Everytime i end up liking someone something always has to happen.

"Girl are you okay?" Asked John giving me a sympathetic look.

I put on a fake smile. Don't let people see you hurt. I kept telling myself this the moment I woke up today.

I'm the bad guy.

His voice echoing in my head. Will I always want a bad guy?

"I'm fine." I say. Looking away and goinng to my social media to try and connect with some fans.

"Thank God we made it." Says Daliza walking in with a whole crew of people. Lucy smiled at us.

"Hey girl I felt like it's been years since I last seen you." She says touching my hair.

"Alright we are shooting the music video today. Dillan please tell your people to start setting up right now." Says Daliza to the Director.

Roman walks in looking really confused. Shit I would be to if random people were running around all over my house.

"What going on?" He asks.

"Hello darling but can you move so these guys can set up some lights." Says Daliza no paying any real attenion to Roman.

"Oh by the way Channel this is your new assistant her name is Coney." She says introducing me to a girl with short black hair and glasses. She was so tiny just like my height.

"Well hello." I say going back to my phone. "Can you bring me my Starbucks drink Daliza must have told you already."

"Yes mam." She says instantly walking away.

"Good morning gorgeous." Says Roman walking towards me handing me a red flower.

"Hello Roman." I say uninterested as I take the flower. It is so pretty.

"Do you want to go out with me tonight." He asks me as he scratches the back of his neck nervously. "Some of my firends are going to be there."

"No." I say quickly as I put the flower in a cup with water.

"It's my birthday today and I was hoping i could spend it with people that really meant something to me." He says.

Birthday.

That brought me back.

Ten years ago...

I woke up to the alarm. I didn't have school but I had chores so many chores.

But I needed to wake up early to make Roman my mate a birthday cake. A small one with some ingredients that I bought with my ten dollars. It was going to be a simple cake because it was I had money wise.

Mom and Dad were out of town and my sister and brother weren't home. God knows where they were.

It took me two hours to do the cake and once it was cooking i hurried up to do my chores. Which took me the whole day.

I was so tired. Until the house phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hey it's me Myra." She says. "Can you believe that today is your mates Birthday?"

I signed and sat down again.

"Yeah I'm so happy for him. I made him a cake which I'm going to take to him later." I say standing back up to take the cake out the fridge and start putting the homemade frosting that I did.

"Well I found out that the whole pack except the omegas and I'm guessing you as well got invited to celebrate it with him." She says.

That hurt. I should be used to it. Because I all feel in this house and time is hurt. I have hope that he will still want me one day.

Will he ever want me?

Am i every going to be enough?

"I'm just want to go and wish him happy birthday." I say.

"Okay I just thought you should know." Says Myra.

"Yes thank you."

With that I hung up. Once i was done with the cake. I wrapped it up and started walking to his house. It was cold outside very cold. I couldn't feel my fingers.

It took me and hour to get to his house. Where the people inside I could her laughing and having a good time.

My face was cold. I was numb.

I went up and knocked on the door. Which this girl with red hair and blue eyes looked at me then at the cake in my hand. I was shaking.

"Hello, is Roman there?" I aksed. She looked at sympathetically.

"I'll go get him honey." She says.

She must be new because no one in this pack is ever nice to me.

Ten minutes go by then Roman comes out. He looks down at me annoyed.

"What are you doing here little girl?" He questioned.

"I just wanted to wish you happy birthday and give you your birthday present." I say showing him the cake.

"You should have stayed home." He says angry with me.

"All I wanted was to wish you happy birthday." I said.

"I don't want your wishes and I don't want that shitty cake." He says. "You need to leave... now! That's an order."

With that he slams the door. People that were inside looked outside. Then they started to laugh and I was here left with the cake that I made for him.

Present time.

"Am i suppose to care that it's your birthday?" I asked as I grabbed the rose that he gave me.

"No but I want you there."

Coney came back with my drink.

"Here Coney I don't want this shitty flower." I said handing it to her. Romans eyes winced as the memorie also hit him.

"Where are you going to spend your birthday?" Asked John.

"The Den night club." Says Roman.

"Oh Please let's go Channel!" Says John all excited.

"It for my firends and-"

I interuppeted Roman quickly.

"If John doesn't go then I won't go." I say coldly as I hand my phone to Coney when Lucy and John start getting to work.

"You are invited John." Says Roman instantly.

"Alpha we have business to attend." Says Wesley his beta. He sees me and smiles respectfully.

"Good morning Luna." He says.

I look around on who he's calling Luna. Last time I recall he told me that I'm not worthy for the tittle and that he will never call me that. Well look at that...

I wanted to laugh.

"I'm not that Luna." I say rolling my eyes. With that Roman and Wesley said goodbye and walked away.

The rest of the day was spent filming and singing and changes looks.

"Miss Dela Rosa?" Says Coney walking towards me as I was taking a break. "There is this man that kept calling and he's on the phone."

"Who." I say.

Today I felt so sad about the Whole Alaric situation. I just felt numb a little inside.

"He says his name is Alaric." She says.

That heart beat went up. Speak of the devil. He called! Wait no Channel stop you are upset with him.

"Tell him I'm busy." I say.

"He say he heard that and wants you on the phone now." She says.

"Hang up." I say.

With that Coney hung up. I was not going to speak to Alaric. He can go talk to the many women that he has.

After a long day of shooting the video. John and Lucy did my hair and make up for the club. And Coney told me Alaric kept calling and that he didn't sound happy.

"Girl you better answer that man before he spanks you." Says John finishing off.

Alaric spanking me flashed through my mind. I couldn't help but blush.

"Is Roman going to take us?" Asked Lucy. I shook my head.

"I told him we'll meet him there." I say. I really didn't want to go.

We all finished getting ready and I even invited Coney to come. When we got there the music was blasting.

"Channel Dela Rosa." Says the bouncer in shock to see me. "I'm a big fan."

I'm which I smiled.

"Thank you."

"Yes come inside." He says letting me skip the line and go inside.

"Do you need a private table or anything?" Asked a lady that seems to work at the club.

"No thank you in here for Romans Party." I say looking around.

"Oh yes right this way." She says.

We were lead to Romans Table which had firends that I didn't know and some that I did. My brother was here with his mate Myra.

"You made it." Says Roman. Coming closer giving me a bright smile.

"Yeah I did." I said.

"Oh shit I'm going to get all fucked up tonight." Says John looking at the alcohol.

"Hey every meet Channel my mate."

"I'm not his mate." I say flatly.

Roman still introduced me to everyone including the people i already. I didn't bother to shake hands. I wasn't in the mood.

Throughout the night it was spent with my brother, Myra and Roman all trying to talk to me as I sat down in the couch. My friends were busy drinking and dancing.

I felt empty. I didn't want to be here. Everything Roman or anyone was saying I didn't seem to pay any attention.

Someone brought a birthday cake for Roman. In which I didn't bother standing up to sing him happy birthday.

That's when I see Alaric walking to the private lounge that I was in. I was shocked.

He sure didn't seem happy with me. My heartbeat went up.

He grabbed by my wrist and through me over his shoulder.

"What are you doing!" I yelled.

"Let my mate go." Says Roman. Until Alaric picked him up and through him against a wall.

"You are coming with me princess we have something we need to discuss." He says taking me away.
