There he was standing in front of me. Growling, completely transformed into something that's never been.

I wasn't scared.

He wasn't threatening me. He would never hurt me.

Not me.

I turned around that's where he also stood. Just a fierce.

A battle between two forces... unfortunately one was stronger and more sinister, deadly, sadistic.

Two forces willing to fight and here I stood in the middle.

"Channel!" I groaned when i woke up. I was in my room. My head was pounding. What the hell was that dream about. "Channel come on wake up breakfast is here plus I put a pill and some water on the side of the bed so that your head won't be hurting and help with the hangover."

Well John is so sweet. I didn't mean to come home dead drunk as i did. I got up and took my pill and decide to clean up which consist on washing my face, taking a shower, and brushing my teeth.

I walked out to find everyone looking like a train wreck. Lucy and John and Josie still have make-up smeared all over their face and the clothes from last night.

"Well hello Josie." I smiled feeling a lot better.

"Tell me about it." She muttered.

"I still don't understand how her mate let her come back." Says John eating a pancake.

"He's has some pack duty to do. Plus I told him I have a job and what not. So we came to an understanding." Says Josie sighing. "Last night was the best ever. The connection and chemistry-

"The sex that's what she is trying to say." Says Lucy who wasn't eating anything.

"Have you feed?" I asked.

"I did while I had a quickie with a werewolf in one of the private rooms." She says. "I'm so refreshed."

Josie glared at John. Who on the other hand was laughing.

"I want to be with him." Says Josie. "I'm his mate and he is mine so I'll be staying with him."

Everyone in the table shut down. Already? Of course the whole mating process goes quick.

"Is that really what you want?" I asked?

In which she nodded.

"Alright then i wish you the best." I say truthfully.

She had tears in her eyes. She came over to hug me.

"Thank you. And please if i have a kid can you be the godmother?" In which I laughed and nodded.

"Wait did you have sex with no protection?" Asked John who was sipping on his orange juice.

In which Josie nodded. Oh god it's high chance since they are mates that she got pregnant... very high. Most of mates they wear protections or are very careful if they don't want kids right away.

"Okay you all have to get ready we gave a plane to catch." Says Daliza looking at her phone walking in.

Unfortunately Josie packed her bags and left with her mate to be with him. While rest of us flew to perform at this young girls party and from there John and I took a private plane to my hometown where we will be spending all of December to celebrate Christmas and New Year's. Unfortunately Daliza told me that dad specifically told her not to book me for anything until further notice so at the moment I have nothing else to do until dad says so.

As for Daliza and Lucy there were spending the holidays with their families.

He's still on the whole thing where I have to see my father. Which really I was not happy about. All my life I was about moving forward and going back to the place that made it impossible for me make me feel like in going backwards.

"My sweet baby." Says mom as she gave me a big hug once our plane landed.

"I missed you." I say.

"Ugh finally we've arrived!" Says John coming down the stair of the plane like a diva.

I smiled at dad. Who hugged me and kissed my cheek.

"We are so proud of you." He says while picking up my luggage. Dad turned to John. "Hey John!"

"Oh hell daddy." Says John to my dad winking which makes me and mom want to laugh and cringe.

"Come on lets take you two home." Says my mom running my back. "You look thin are you eating well."

Mom is always looking out for me.

"Don't you get tired?" asked my dad as we sat on the outside of the house in front of a camp fire. Mom sat next to him putting her head on his shoulder.

"Of what?" I asked.

"Of working the ways you do and rarely having a break." He says.

It does at time get overwhelming but it's so worth it. All for my fans that genuinely love me and my work and willing to support me.

"It does but I love it." I say while making a smore.

"We just want you to know that don't overwork yourself it's unhealthy." Says mom.

"Will do." I say stuffing my smore all in my mouth. "Dad do I really have to go see my father?"

I surprised he even understood since my mouth was filling with a big smore.

"Trust me Channel you might not want to but its for the best." He says as he sighs. "I've never had the best of relationship with my father but he was dying due to my anger towards him I never went to visit him or anything and to this day I regret it."

My made me feel bad for my dad. But that's still doesn't change the way I feel about my real father. The moment I left i never thought about him until now.

"Alright dad I'll go with you all." I say crossing my arms finally saying it without a fight and stuffing another smore in my mouth. They are so good.

Once the pack found out I was back they all came to visit me. It was real nice to catch up.

For new year they did a whole pack gathering to celebrate the beginning of a new year. Which had people that I didn't know coming up to me telling me how much the love my music, movies and how much they support me.

"This is great." Says John handing me a shot. Looking all over the huge party.

We both took the shot.

"Two minutes till new years." I say looking at my phone. The moon was shinning bright tonight.

My mom and dad came next to John and I.

"I'm so grateful that I can spend another year with my girls." Says Dad to mom and I. I don't want to get emotional but I did. Maybe it was all the tequila shots I took. "Also I love having John here."

Which made John's tears come out.

"I'm grateful for all of us." Says my mom doing a big group hug.

"I love you all. You are all i need in this moment." I say to my parents and my bestie John.

"Look the countdown." Says mom.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Yelled everyone including me. We all hugged eachother.

I'm really blessed for the people that I have.

The rest of the night was spent drinking and dancing with my family and pack.

What a great way to start the year.
