Day One Of Winning the Heart of Y/n.

"Alright! Since I'm her friend since she was 14, I can give some real helpful info." Hoseok said with a smile. Jimin held out his notebook, writing the advice Hoseok was giving. And Namjoon? He looked at the golden retriever annoyed the fact that this golden retriever dragged him out of Y/n's home.

Y/n though was more than happy to let the two of them hang out. She even let Jimin tagged along. she thought this was a perfect chance for the wolf to have some social reaction towards people his age. And now here's Namjoon with the most annoyed expression.

"Okay lets start with the basics. One, Y/n is a sucker for romance. However, she's really dense when it comes to these things. But please don't blame her, she has every right to be dense."

"So it's not her fault? But at the same time it is? It Doesn't even make sense. And she's not dense, she's just very obvious towards certain things." The wolf said but was slightly intrigued by the conversation.

"Simple, the same way your denying the fact you love Y/n. From what I can tell is that you've never experienced love, or even have a simple crush at that. Which makes you completely compatible for Y/n." Hoseok grinned. Jimin nodded along with Hoseok's words.

"I agree!" The orange hybrid giggled. Namjoon sighed as he rubbed his forehead in annoyance.

"Look I do not love Y/n I simply admire her. Her gestures are very sweet but not overly sweet, she still can kill you if she wanted too. And I care for her. Nothing more and nothing less. Why is it so hard for you stupid mutt to understand?" Namjoon growled in annoyance. Hoseok didn't even look faze at his insult, instead he had a wicked grin spread among his handsome features.

"Jimin please tell me you got that all down? But I'll be nice and won't say you love her, but adore her. Is that better?" The golden retriever grinned. Namjoon nodded with another annoyed look. He was sure the golden retriever was patronizing him.

"Great! Now the second thing you need to know about her is simple things. Like her favorite color, food anything! So Jimin write down everything I say, and Namjoon just listen. Make sure you take note of everything I say-"

"Must I really do this? I don't understand how any of this is going to benefit me." The wolf groaned, Namjoon really didn't understand the concept of this conversation. Hoseok sighed but again brought his bright smile among his handsome features.

"Just listen okay? It would greatly benefit you trust me! But you need to listen, so you really want anyone else touching Y/n? Or even looking at her? You can't protect her at your status, so you need to move up. Which is what I'm trying to help you with." Hoseok explained with a smug look seeing the wolf tense at the mention of a another boy touching or even dare looking at Y/n.

So the wolf sighed in defeat and listened to what the golden retriever was saying. About mid way from the conversation, Namjoon interrupted Hoseok's speech yet again.

"Can't I simply just ask her these questions? Or better yet I can merely observe them. I really am not understanding why your telling me any of this." Namjoon said. Hoseok grinned despite the fact this was at least the third time the wolf interrupted him.

"It's true, you can simply ask her or observe her. Which I'm guessing it's what you've been doing since you knew more half of the things I'm saying, but it would be better if I just told you. So you can surprise her." The golden retriever explained. Namjoon sighed leaning back into the chair, a slight headache coming his way.

"Alright. But if I know everything about her, won't it make sense for her to know everything about me?" The wolf asked. Hoseok clicked his tongue shaking his head. Clearly this wolf was very uneducated about even remotely doing with dating.

"You don't know everything about Y/n. Trust me. You aren't the only one with secrets. There are still some things I don't even know about her. Heck not even Yoongi knows everything about her-"

"Wait you know Yoongi? As in Min Yoongi? The dam-I mean the bipolar cat hybrid?" The wolf asked now leaning into the table, clenching his jaw with a slight growl. Just the thought of that mangy cat made the wolf growl.

Jimin looked at his hyung a little confused of who was Yoongi. But seeing the way his Hyung was acting, he could only assume he was a person his hyung didn't really like. Hoseok gave the wolf a werid look before nodding.

"Of course. I grew up with Yoongi and Y/n. We were raised by grandpa Bang. Heck it's the reason why I even have a job. This was one of the many stores and restaurants he owned. He gave me this restaurant to own, and gave Y/n his first bookstore, the same bookstore we grew up in. And even gave Yoongi a spot in a music company." The golden retriever explained. Namjoon tilted his head making his ears flop as he gave the golden retriever a puzzled look. Jimin who was in the middle, didn't really understand much of anything.

"But didn't you say you were Y/n's friend since she was 14? How can you be raised by the same person? Even though you only known her for 4 years?"

Hoseok immediately averted his gaze, his golden retriever ears pinned back slightly. The sudden mood changes drastically.

"I'm telling the truth. I've only been Y/n's friend for 4 years. Same thing with Yoongi. But Grandpa Bang took her in when she was 14 and Yoongi was 16. I was 14 at the time too. But I've always been with Grandpa Bang since I was 4. I don't know anything about Y/n's past. She refuses to open about it. All I know is that she ran away from home when she was 14. That's all Yoongi knows too." Hoseok shrugged but with just his tone showed sadness.

"Wait so no one knows where Y/n is from?"

Hoseok shook his head leaning his chin in the palm of his hand, his eyes staring at the window.

"No one knows anything about her. Again, just the fact she ran away home at 14. That and her surname is Kim, but that's it. When we try to answer she merely shrugs and says the same thing. That she ran away at 14. Why? We're not sure. No one is sure." Hoseok sighed his golden eyes watching people pass by in the winter cold. But something clicked for the wolf hybrid.

"Fine go ahead. I have no purpose in life anyway. My family hates me, my brother most likely hates me too. I have no friends and my job is barely keeping up with me, so sure kill me by all means. In fact I very much encourage it."

The wolf eyes suddenly enlarged remembering the words she said when he threaten to kill her four months back. His body tensed at the sudden memory.

"My family hates me, my brother most likely hates me too."

Seeing the wolf tense up suddenly gave the golden retriever a red flag. His eyes averted back to the wolf narrowing his eyes at him, knowing something was up.

"You found about something didn't you? Something I don't even know. What did she say to you? What has she said that even me and Yoongi don't even know?" Hoseok asked. Namjoon looked at the golden retriever before averting his eyes towards the window.

"I remember her saying that she had a brother, and that her family hates her. She told me this when I threaten to kill her." The wolf muttered the last part. But the two hybrids heard loud and clear.

"You tired fo kill mommy!?!!"

"You tired to kill my best friend!?!"

Namjoon flinched at their yelling before sighing with a sheepish grin.

"It was when I first met her. Look I won't hurt her. Trust me I wouldn't. But at first I was, in the past humans treated me horribly. So I wanted nothing with them." The wolf explained trying to calm the two. Hoseok immediately softened. He couldn't really relate, he was given a warm home at a young age.

Sure he lost his mother when he was four, but he remembers nothing about her. But he felt sorry for those hybrids who were mistreated by humans. His owner was extremely warm and nice. But he knew not all humans were like that.

His golden eyes averted back to the little orange fox who also looked down at Namjoon's statement. Hoseok knew Jimin had a rough past too. Jimin was separated from his mother at age 3. Then was bought at age 8.

For the last two years he was whipped and hit from his previous owner. Because he was so young, the owner couldn't use him like how other hybrids were used. So he was forced into maid work. It was such laborious work for a 10 year old.

What was worse was that the owner only bought him because of his adoring beauty. His bright blue eyes was quite rare for a typical orange fox. So having him only let his old owner to show off her new hybrid and show them how much many she possessed. That's why Jimin was more than thankful when Y/n purchased him.

Now Namjoon, well no one knew about Namjoon either. This had to be one of the first times Namjoon brought up his past. It wasn't much, but it was certainly a start. And that's when the golden retriever finally realized something. Y/n and Namjoon were perfect for each other.

Slowly they would start opening up to each other, which would bring them closer. Their both with secrets. Secrets no one knew about. And then and there Hoseok was making it his ultimate goal to get these two together.
