Waiting.

The action of staying where one is or delaying action until a particular time or until something else happens.

Waiting is probably the most difficult thing to do. Waiting requires patience and time, which is something not a lot of people have. Some people are just impatient and see that whatever their waiting for is not worth their time. While others are just to eager for time to go faster for whatever their waiting for. But if you wait, you will be rewarded for your patience and time.

That is exactly what the alpha was doing. Him and the lion hybrid were patiently waiting for the right moment. If not patient then the whole plan would be into ruins. And both of the hybrids craved nothing more than the sunlight they missed. Or the fresh air, the water, just whole thought of being outside was enough for the hybrids to be impatient. They both missed being outside.

Namjoon hasn't been outside in four year, while the lion hybrid hasn't been outside for five years. Namjoon could only imagine how much more the lion hybrid wanted to be outside and be free. It also didn't help that the lion hybrid was younger than the alpha, which meant since he was a boy he craved to be free. Though the lion talked a lot wanting to find his sister and his mother. Whether adopted or not, he still saw them as his only family members. But he now included Namjoon along with them.

However Namjoon wanted to return to his pack. He was at first wary because by the time he finds them, he would be 18. And it would have to deal with the fact he was going to be force to marry Jisoo. But still he longed to see his pack. Especially Jungkook, who would've been 8 this year. Namjoon wondered everyday about what Jungkook was doing right now. And is his friend Jackson alright? Did he make back with the pack in time?

"Hyung how much longer?" The lion hybrid whispered, his golden eyes following the movement of the guards that walked passed them. Stalking them like a lion would towards his prey. His golden tail swaying behind him.

Namjoon's lavender eyes as well stalked the guards and the clock that was hanging on the wall. Namjoon sat on the poor condition mattress leaning his back on the old wall. His ears twitching for any noises and his tail lay limply on his lap.

"Just a couple more minutes Tae. Patience is right now the key." Namjoon whispered back. His eyes slowly narrowing as the clock grew closer towards noon. As soon as the hand hit 12, the bell rang and the guards walked over to open the doors. Taehyung stood up along with Namjoon as they waited patiently for the guards to open the caged doors.

Once the guard did, the guard pushed them out and closed their doors before heading to another door and do the same thing. Once the wolf and lion were out they both quietly hid behind some boxes that were laying around. The rest of hybrids walked mindlessly towards the lunch room.

Namjoon gestured the lion to keep his voice down. Taehyung listened though he was still a scared little boy, clutching onto Namjoon's hand. They once again waited for all the guards to clear out of their cages. Namjoon stalked them, his lavender eyes following their every movements. Once they all cleared out, they now were finally able to come out of their hiding spots.

"Okay Tae, you need to be very quiet. There might be some guards guarding the sell room. But it should be unlocked, got it?" Taehyung nodded along his words, squeezing his hand tightly. Namjoon walked along the hallways quiet as ever, his hand still tightly holding onto Taehyung's.

Finally the two stopped behind a wall that lead towards the sell room. Literally just around the corner lead them into the room. But Namjoon stopped due to the sound of voices. This made the lion hybrid anxious, clinging onto the alphas' arm.

"So Someone is finally going to buy that worthless lion? Finally, everyone seems to hate how young he is. But I heard the wolf hybrid turns 18 tomorrow, the boss is gonna put him in the adult section now." One guard said as his back leaned against the wall. The another guard snort shaking his head.

"Finally. He keeps trying to escape his cell more than once. And since the kids aren't as smart they cant figure how to get out of the cell. But that wolf hybrid is far too smart for his own good. The only thing that's holding him back is coming back for that lion hybrid." Taehyung clutched harder onto the wolf's arm knowing they were talking about him and Namjoon.

Namjoon looked over towards the worried lion, he gave him a reassuring look before gently moving his arm away from his grasp.

"Your going to stay here. And don't come out until I say so, got it Tae?" Taehyung nodded though a little worried for him. Namjoon ruffled his hair before disappearing from his sight. Taehyung just like he said, waited patiently for Namjoon to say something.

But all he heard were screams that were soon hush and growls. Then sound of bodies thudding on the ground. For some reason that gave the lion shivers. He remembered hearing that when they tried to capture him that he bit someone's arm off. That even at a young age, he was this huge black wolf. And even though the alpha was only 14, he had this incredible strength.

Taehyung gulped at the thought of an angry Namjoon. He certainly hoped he would never see that side of him.

"Tae?" His ears perked up at the sound of Namjoon's voice. He peeked his head out only to meet Namjoon standing there. But no signs of the two guards that once stood there. He shuddered seeing spots of blood on the ground. Yet there was no signs of blood on the alpha. Taehyung walked slowly towards the wolf hybrid and again holding his hand tightly.

He hoped they wouldn't get caught. According to the guards information, Taehyung was being bought and Namjoon was moving towards the 'adult' section. That's where most hybrids get bought from. And usually their owners didn't buy them for good intentions.

Namjoon slowly opened the door just to have a peek if anyone was inside. His ear twitched hearing no one was inside the room. Sighing in relief he swing opened the door and gently pushed Taehyung inside. Taehyung though refused to let go of his hand, even after Namjoon closed the door.

Now there in front of them was the large glass window that showed the horrible weather outside. The rain hitting harshly on the windows, the wind howling and hitting everything in its path. Yet with this horrible weather the two couldn't help but admire it. Especially Namjoon who loved the rain. But their moment was soon interrupted when someone walked in.

"Wait the-?! What are you two doing in here!?!" A guard yelled. The lion hybrid scared, hid behind Namjoon who was ready to pounce at any moment. Namjoon growled, his lavender eyes narrowing at the guard who pulled out a knife. He lunged forward but missed when Namjoon moved away in a swift motion.

"Taehyung open the window and get out!" Namjoon yelled. But the poor boy was frozen in his spot, scared his hyung would get hurt. The guard stumbled though quickly got his posture back up and lunges forward again but not towards the alpha, instead towards the innocent lion.

"Taehyung!" But everything happened in slow motion. One minute Taehyung was standing in fear with a man lunging forward towards him with a knife. The next he was on the ground with Namjoon standing in the place he once was. There Namjoon cut through his side, blood coating his black clothing. The smell of metallic felled the lions nose making him slightly gag. His golden eyes were wide seeing blood drip from his side.

"Namjoon!" Taehyung scrambled to his feet but Namjoon growled at him to stay put.

"Stay right there Tae! For now just open the window!" Namjoon growled, gritted though his teeth so no sounds of pain would leave his mouth. Taehyung wanted to protest but seeing Namjoon's eyes dilated to almost like an animal gave him the hint to leave before the wolf went crazy. Taehyung ran towards the window and doing as he was told, opened the glass doors.

He turned to see Namjoon, but Namjoon was busy fighting off the guard. He was lunges forward towards the man with his teeth baring and his usually soft lavender eyes were turned into a cold animalistic eyes. In another swift motion the wolf had the knife and threw it somewhere else.

The guard under him was screaming and scrambling. Taehyung wasn't sure what the wolf was doing but whatever it was the man was in incredible pain by it. The guard's scream hush but the wolf stayed in his position. Then another man came in, hearing a huge commotion outside the doors.

"What the-" But the man was caught off by the cold animalistic stare coming from the wolf. The man's eyes widen in terror seeing the former guard laying there limply and blood surrounding him. The alpha's eyes screamed blood thirsty, and lunges forward towards the man knocking him out instantly on the floor. The man screamed and scrambled, trying to escape the bloodthirsty wolf.

Taehyung couldn't really move as his whole body was frozen. Seeing the usually calm and gentle wolf turn into a beast. His breathing was heavy, swallowing hard. This made the wolf snapped his head towards Taehyung. His cold animalistic eyes stared back at him, but they quickly changed into his warm lavender eyes. Namjoon grunted as the pain started kicking in. He stumbled, clutching onto his side that was gushing out more blood.

"Hyung!" Taehyung ran towards Namjoon and helped him walk towards the window. Namjoon groaned in pain, barely keeping his body up.

"Its okay Hyung, were almost out of this place. We just need to jump, remember?" Namjoon weakly nodded his arm around Taehyung's shoulder as Taehyung was holding him up. The sound of footsteps running towards the room was heard.

"Shot." Taehyung mumbled but before he could even have time to think, Namjoon pushed him towards the window. Taehyung stumbled and looked towards his hyung.

"H-Hyung?"

"Don't question Tae and jump out. Be free, just go Taehyung." Namjoon said giving him another gentle push. Taehyung whimpered slightly but yet again didn't get to react as an army of guards burst through the door.

"God why don't you ever listen Tae?" Namjoon groaned but gave him a smile. Taehyung clutched onto his arm trying to pull him along. But of course the wolf was able to shrug him off like nothing. Namjoon pushes him out the window and just like Namjoon said, he wasn't injured from the fall. And despite him not wanting to, Taehyung ran away from that place as fast as he could.

Now Namjoon stood by the window, with a bleeding wound. Sweat dripping from his forehead and becoming dizzy from the lack of blood he had.

"It's over wolf! Just be a good boy and come over here!" A guard yelled. Namjoon snorted, his ears pinned back in pain but he gave them a grin.

"Yeah I wether die then go with you." And with that be jumped out the window. Several guards tried to stop him but couldn't in time. Namjoon landed on the many bushes. The rain started hitting his face as it poured buckets of water. He heard the men shout and was franticly looking for him. The wolf merely laughed at their desperation not even feeling pity when their boss finds out that not just one but two hybrids escape. And one of them happened to be an alpha.

Namjoon, though weakly started walking away from the gates of Hell. His side burning as more blood gushed from his side. His clothes soaked but he could care less. He wondered how far Taehyung got considering that guy was much better shape then him. Hopefully he was somewhere else safe and sound.

Now the wolf wasn't sure, but he knew he walked for a while judging by the fact the cold air made him completely numb to feeling. But at this rate the wolf was going to pass out from the lack of blood. His lavender eyes met with a bookstore. The lights were on as a young girl placed books into their shelves.

Suddenly the wind howled and blow her door wide open. The girl ran towards the door shutting it close with all her strength. For some reason the wolf slightly laughed at her struggle. For whatever reason it just made him laugh.

Despite, and cold the wolf barged into the bookstore. A little ding was heard making the wolf jump at the sound. The alpha immediately hid behind the shelves trying to keep quiet even though he was so much in pain. The girl looked utterly confused and locked the door. She turned her heel and walked back towards the counter. She muttered some stuff under her breathe and continued to do whatever she was doing.

But the wolf couldn't help but let out a groan that accidentally came out as a growl. He silently hoped that the girl didn't hear, but it appears nothing was going great with him today.

"W-Who's there?" He heard her meek voice call out. In a reflex, he let out another growl at her question. He mentally cursed himself for letting out another growl. The girl walked closer towards him, the wolf could hear her footsteps. But the pain was starting to get to him, letting a painful groan.

The girl finally was close towards him, her (e/c) met with his lavender eyes. Namjoon for a second froze, seeing her gentle kind eyes.

And with just one look, he was already whipped for this girl. Not just any girl, a human girl. Something he thought he hated with a burning desire. But it appears he wasn't. And now he was willingly to die for the girl in front of him.
