Cubs
"Hyungggg~ When are you gonna tell her?" The wolf sighed for the 10th time that day. His lavender eyes met with the boy who was by his side with his bright blue eyes. He had a pout lingering on his lips. Namjoon sighed and pushed upward his round glasses. Yes glasses. It turned out this wolf was blind and didn't know about it until he crashed into a wall at least four times.
"Whenever we get to sit with her. Your being a lot more talkative since Hobi came. That's good." The wolf hummed and focused on his book yet again. Jimin whined and took the book from his grasp.
"Yah Jimin-"
"Now come on where going to Hobi's restaurant. He says Y/n goes there with some blonde dude for lunch. Now come on Hyung." Jimin said getting off the couch still holding onto the book. The wolf sighed seeing the Fox was set on getting him out of the house.
"Alright alright. But go put on your collar, you can't leave the house without your collar. You know that." The fox nodded and waddled towards the room to search for his collar. Namjoon on the other hand just went into Y/n's room to search for his collar. He typically didn't leave the house and hasn't really wore his collar. And he gave it to Y/n so he wouldn't lose it, which is another thing he tends to do. Lose things. Hence the reason why his collar was in Y/n's room.
He searched through her drawers before he finally found the purple color collar. He placed the soft material around his neck as it made little jingle noises. His lavender eyes staring himself in the mirror. His purple collar around his neck with a silver moon charm. And of course his name tag with big proud letters stating his name.
'Kim Namjoon'
Namjoon's lips twitched seeing his surname. It wasn't his, no it was Y/n's. And for some reason that made the wolf's heart warm. It made him feel proud for having her last name, even though it was supposed to be the other way around. But he didn't mind having her last name. In fact it made his stomach feel like he had a whole bunch of butterflies flying around his stanch.
His lips curved into a smile leaving two dents planted on his cheeks. His long fluffy black tail wagged behind him slightly. His fingers playing with his name tag.
"Dad! I'm ready!" Jimin yelled and hugged the wolf's arm catching him off guard. Small jingles came from Jimin's blue collar. Unlike Namjoon's collar, Jimin's had a silver star charm with his name printed in bubble letters.
'Kim Jimin'
Namjoon's lavender eyes stared at the name tag as his smile grew. He felt happy Jimin had her last name too. And yet, he didn't even know why. Perhaps because the wolf saw the young boy as his own cub and it felt like he was in a family. Oh don't blame the wolf, it was only in his animal instinct to want a family. And more than anything else did he wanted with one person, and one person only.
It was there and then he realized something. The wolf really did love the girl who brought him in months ago. That he really was in love with a human girl. A girl who was being swept off her feet by another man. And it wasn't even that mangy cat. No, it was another human. A hybrid losing too a human? Now that's humiliating
"Lets go Jimin." The wolf said holding the younger hand and walking out of the small bookstore. Jimin happily held onto the wolf's hand with a huge smile plastered among his lips.
"Dad, are you really going to confess to mommy?" Jimin asked still holding onto the older ones hand. Namjoon glance at the boy before his lavender eyes wonder back to the sidewalk. He gave a little hum in response. Jimin's sapphire blue eyes lit up like stars. Even though the wolf's hum was something quiet and barely audible, it was enough to make the fox happy.
"Wait really dad!?" Namjoon couldn't stop a smile spreading among his lips hearing the pure excitement that lingered in the boys voice. The wolf hasn't heard the Fox this excited for months. It filled the wolf with warmth seeing his usual bubbly personality.
He gave another hum making the fox let out little happy squeaks and barks erupting from his chest. Namjoon laughed lightly at the boys reaction and couldn't help but smile widely. But their sweet warm moment was ruined by yelling.
The wolf stopped in his tracks, his black ears twitched at the yelling that was near an alley way. Jimin did the same, stopping in his tracks his orange ears twitching at the loud voices that was hard to miss.
"Where you think you going you little rodent!" A voice yelled. Soon after a squeal and honk was heard sounding like a creature or perhaps a hybrid. Namjoon without thinking, started walking over with his veins surging with anger.
"Wait daddy!" Jimin ran behind Namjoon trying to keep up with the wolf. The pair soon stopped seeing a crowd of men beating up on a little boy. The little boy cried, his body in a ball. Even though they couldn't see his face, his long brown bunny ears and fluffy gave away of him being a hybrid.
And something in the wolf clicked. It angered him even more. It reminded him too much of his little Jungkook. That thought alone angered the already angry wolf.
"Hey! What are you doing with my cub?" The wolf roared. His roar made the group of men jump. His voice startled them. One man look shook for a moment before he scoffed at the wolf.
"Oh please! Don't try to act all hero like! We know this isn't your cub! He's a bunny! Just move along you mutt." The guy scoffed and squat down towards the boy who hasn't move his position. His hands gripped onto the boys hair, lifting him up by his hair. The boy cried out in pain, his ears drooping down.
"D-Dad I think we should go-"
"No. We're not. Just stay here little buddy I'll be right back." Namjoon said his voice softening just slightly so he wouldn't scare off the boy. His lavender eyes burning with hatred towards the men. He walked over towards the group of men with his nostrils flaring. But as he walked his nose twitched at a familiar scent.
"Oh-Stupid mutt! Really?! I told you to scram!" The same man yelled now standing up harshly tugging the little boy up with his fingers gripping onto his brown locks. The boys chocolate brown eyes filled with tears and his teeth gritted together in agony. His little hands doing a poor job to release the grip the man had on him. His beautiful skin was dented with many bruises and cuts.
The wolf immediately stopped in his tracks, his lavender eyes widening at the boy in front of him. And it appeared he wasn't the only one who was surprised. The little boy's chocolate eyes widen as well, and a new batch of tears cloud up his vision.
"N-Namjoon H-Hyung?"
"J-Jungkook?"
"H-Hyung!" The boy squealed in excitement his little cotton ball tail wiggles behind him. The wolf laughed lightly his lavender eyes softening. But it was short lived due to the man gripping onto Jungkook's hair. He gripped tighter causing the bunny to yelp in pain. This causes the wolf to snap back into reality and growl at the man.
"Oh Whoopie do you know him. I don't care! Scream or I'll-" his sentence was cut off by a fist crashing into his face. This caused the man to stumble back and loosen his grip on Jungkook. Taking this chance, Jungkook ran towards the wolf and hid behind him.
"Touch my cub again, and I'll kill you." The wolf growled, his ears up in alert. His canines showing along with his lavender eyes dilating just slightly. He was about to pounce at any given moment.
"Why You-! Grab that fox!" The Man shouted pointing to Jimin. Before Jimin could react two men appeared out fo nowhere and gripped onto him tightly. This only ticked off the wolf even more. Even more so when his lavender eyes were burning holes into the man who smirked.
"Dad!!" Jimin yelped, now tears clouding his blue sapphire bright eyes. His orange ears lunged down towards his head letting out little whimpers. He was completely in fear. One of the men shut him up by placing a hand over his mouth.
"Just hand over the dang kid and I'll let go that one. Either way, I need a hybrid to get paid. I would get you cause of your eyes, but I'm not dealing with your anger." The man stated, completely unaware of how mad he made the wolf. The wolf looked down for a moment going quiet. Before he spoke up with a low growl.
"Humans are so pathetic. Even if I'm half one, I'm only 50% pathetic. While humans? They are 100% pathetic." His lavender eyes looked up towards the man, his pupil completely dilated and glowing a bright purple. They looked completely animalistic, which scared the rest of the men. The man stepped back slightly, seeing the wolf completely change his demeanor into a scary one.
"And I've told you twice now. Don't. Touch. My. Cubs!" The wolf roared as he lunged forward towards the man. Within the process, he morphed in a large black wolf. His teeth sinking into the man's arm. The man let out a screech of pain catching everyone off guard.
Jungkook gulped at the sight of his hyung bloodthirsty. But taking this chance, he ran towards Jimin. Since both men were completely horrified by the wolf's actions, they were too dazed to realize the fox escaped their grasp.
Jungkook took Jimin's hand and pushed away from the men's grasp. Another scream was heard. Both of them turn only to see the wolf bit another man, his teeth bloody from his previous kill.
"W-What's wrong with H-Hyung?" Jungkook stuttered now hiding behind the fox. He covered his ears hearing the screams and flesh ripping. Whatever this was, Jungkook never wanted to see this side ever again coming from his hyung.
"H-he just-I don't know! But I know mommy can help him!"
"W-who's mommy?" Jungkook asked his big brown doe eyes looking up at the older one. Jimin took his hand into his, trying to reassure the scared boy. Despite the sounds of flesh ripping and bloody cries for help.
"She's someone dad really loves. Dad is only doing this because he wants to protect us. But he can't control it sometimes. So we need mommy. Now
Come on, let's go get mommy."
