"When are you going to tell him, Tae?" Namjoon leaned against the brick wall of the building, lollipop between his lips as Taehyung busied himself with the spray paint. The younger artist just shrugged, causing Namjoon to sigh in frustration. "Surely he deserves to know, especially if you said you'd tell him."

Taehyung knew the elder was right; when wasn't he? But something, deep inside his bleeding heart, held him back on telling Jeongguk the reason he cried over his mother's portrait. It was stupid to hide the truth, and Taehyung knew that well.

"I'll tell him when the time comes." He said, trying to shake off the feel of Namjoon's glare. While ignoring the angered elder's fury, he continued with the spray paint, shaking green bangs out of his vision.

"This is why your relationships always fail; you keep everything to yourself thinking it would be better that way." Namjoon bit hard into his lollipop, gripping the white stick tight as Taehyung winced from the crunching sound.

"He'd call me weak."

With a tut, Namjoon threw the lollipop stick to the ground, shoving his hands into his pockets. "That's a lie and you know it. Jeongguk wouldn't treat you with negativity. At all."

Taehyung sighed, stopping his hand's movements with the paint and letting it fall against his thigh. "I know. Of course I know."

"Then for fuck's sake, tell him."

"I thought you didn't like me hanging round with Tae, Hobi?" Jeongguk asked as he folded clean laundry belonging to his older brother, who was currently on strict bedrest. He had been given crutches, but because Hoseok was always determined to get food by himself, Jin had locked them away in his room.

Hoseok sighed. "I didn't necessarily like it, but if he makes you happy, then I'm not going to be cruel and keep you away. Besides, when I think about it you two would look really cute together."

Jeongguk smiled as he hung a green sweater in the closet, a light pink shade blossoming onto his glowing cheeks. The thought of his brother (his overly-protective brother in fact) actually approving of Taehyung, made him radiate upmost relief and happiness.

"Though I suppose he hasn't told you about his mother yet?" The younger's smile dipped a little, dropping from realisation that the truth about that mysterious woman wasn't yet told to him.

He wasn't going to admit it to Taehyung, but it kind of hurt Jeongguk that he hadn't been told but others had. Didn't he trust him enough? Should Jeongguk give a better reason for him to gain that trust?

"He'll tell you, guk. Just give him some time and he will, I promise."
