"I ship it," Hoseok squealed as he jumped up and down on the creaky couch, Jin too busy pinching the youngest's cheeks to scold the excited sunshine. "I ship it so fucking hard."
"You're all grown up, oh my lord," Jin pretended to wipe tears from under his eyes, holding Jeongguk in an embrace as said male inhaled the strong scent of home baking. "I feel so old. How come you've practically got a boyfriend already and I'm still single?"
"Ask Jimin out on a date." Hoseok sniggered at the exact moment when the orange-haired boy walked into the apartment, a dark fuchsia invading the eldest's smooth cheeks and dusting over the tops of his ears.
"What are you doing Hobi? You'll fall, idiot." Jimin raised a brow, setting his backpack on the armchair. Jin gripped Jeongguk tightly as he tried to calm down the heat of his face, the younger whining to be let go internally but kept his mouth shut.
"No I won't-"
He fell off the couch.
And landed on the coffee table.

"So you wear my couch out, destroy my coffee table, smash my favourite vase of lillies and break your leg of all things. Thanks Hobi, I really appreciate it." Jin jokingly scolded Hoseok, who laid back in his hospital bed with guilt woven into his clothes and a slight trace of humour in his sentences.
"I'm sorry hyung. I'll pay you back." Hoseok patted Jin's shoulder, Jeongguk rolling his eyes since he knew his brother wouldn't pay him back. Not on purpose; he'd just simply forget about it since his memory is the worst Jeongguk's ever seen. There's too much buzzing in that brain of his brother's and it always makes Jeongguk curious as to how his birthday was ever remembered.
"No no, I was just joking," Jin ran his hand through the brown locks of the pained Hoseok. "I'll get another coffee table and a new vase. I just want you to be more careful from now on, okay?"
"Okay."
Yoongi burst through the door, panting and heaving as he collapsed into a stiff blue-leather chair. Hoseok's eyes widened and Jin laughed loud at Yoongi nearly missing the cracking chair, a heavy awkwardness nearly suffocating Jeongguk.
"I came...here...as soon...as I could..." Yoongi spoke as the words ripped through his dry raw throat, Jin tossing a water bottle to the thankful man with laughter still escaping his full lips.
"Yoongi why are you-" Next was Taehyung, sweat dancing along the bridge of his nose as he stumbled into the room, leaning against the wall. He hadn't seen Jeongguk yet, he had now turned crimson from seeing the artist for the first time since their kiss, that only being twenty four hours ago.
"Stupid...fucking...elevator won't work..." Taehyung panted and stood against the wall, hands on knees as he tried to regain needed breath. Obviously the two don't exercise.
"I broke my leg, it's not like I'm dying." Hoseok laughed, the laughter soon turning nervous as Yoongi walked over to clutch the wounded boy's hand.
"But Jimin told me-" Jimin was the next to enter the small room, sipping on iced tea with his phone buzzing with notifications. This boy, Jeongguk thought to himself while shaking his head.
"I told you what?" The orange-haired male asked as he sat on another leather chair in the far corner, sipping every so often. Yoongi looked like he was going to run over and smash the beloved phone of Jimin's to pieces, Taehyung frowning and locking eyes with a certain blushing boy.
"You said Hoseok was on death's door! That he had mere hours left!" Yoongi growled, Jimin smirking an laughing to himself in a seemingly proud way.
"Only thing I could think of that would get you off your grandpa ass." Yoongi scowled at the younger with fire licking at the white's of his eyes, hand gripping Hoseok's a little tighter in fury. But the infuriated elder just cursed under his breath, turning back to the paled Hoseok and Jin sat with Jimin.
"Hey guk." Jeongguk looked up from the green-toned linoleum flooring to meet eyes with a shy Taehyung. The younger smiled, patting the chair next to him and Taehyung quickly sat down.
"It's nice that you came." The whisper couldn't be heard by the distracted others in the room, Jeongguk thankful since he now couldn't get embarrassed or teased for looking so admiringly at the unusually nervous Taehyung.
A tanned hand sneakily wove itself into a lighter one, navy smeared across small areas with a mere blend of yellow. Jeongguk rested their intertwined hands onto his thigh, observing the colours with pure fascination and wonder.
"You need to wash your hands after you paint." Jeongguk giggled.
Taehyung just smiled, placing a lingering kiss on the younger's rosy cheek with a soft pair of lips.
"But then my hands would just be boring to look at, wouldn't they? If they're like this, you have an excuse to hold my hand, to 'examine the paint'."
Well...I won't be able to use that excuse anymore.
