Ok so a while back someone requested i do a part two with permafrost to that "timeline series but it's a workplace comedy" thing i wrote, like, six or seven months ago or something. however, i quickly ran into the issue that permafrost is kind of hard to work into an au set in an office. hence: welcome to the high school au spinoff show. to set the mood, i yet again have actual important things to do, however instead i think this is great use of my time here we go.

-Polar and Permafrost go to Shadowhunter's school. Permafrost is the new kid tho, Shadowhunter is failing her history class, and Permafrost tutors her, I think you can see where this is going.

-Brightmind is a band kid. (I did choir for like one year, and have friends who did band, they're definitely the type.) Everyone is kind of terrified of them, as they should be.

-Shadowhunter does sports because she gets an extra credit to graduate and she wants to be done with school ASAP. (Also, she thinks cute girls will like her if she's a jock. She's not wrong. Maybe Permafrost comes to watch her play a few times. Maybe Shadowhunter runs up to the bleachers and kisses her. Maybe.)

-Permafrost looks like a carbon copy of Snowflake, they do their hair really similarly, wear the same kind of makeup and clothes, Permafrost constantly dresses like she's about to go to a job interview--and then Shadowhunter is over here with, like, fishnets and died blue hair and a leather or jean jacket with pride pins on it, ripped jeans, etc. She looks like she could kill you. Anyway, they just look so hilarious walking together.

*Snowflake is a PTA mom. Clearsight is also a PTA mom, and Darkstalker is a PTA dad. They have a fierce rivalry and take it far too seriously.

-Allknowing is the shitty principal. Clearsight teaches English and social studies, and they're eternally at war with each other. Sometimes they have fights in the hallways. It has ended up on YouTube. Once they got in a brawl off school property and Clearsight won. Allknowing cuts Clearsight's budget, and makes her randomly take on other classes, and interrupts her lessons to tell her her shirt is tacky.  ("Yes Clearsight, I understand you're about to have a baby and applied for maternity leave. But, is that really my problem? Should our students pay the price because you chose to  have a baby in the middle of the school year? Cause that really sounds like an ish-YOU, not an ish-ME.")

-Gaze organizes a protest to remove her and the entire school gets behind it, Allknowing is horrible. Sometimes Darkstalker picks Clearsight up on the way home from his job, since it's a long drive back to their house and they like getting to spend the time alone together—and he'll get there a bit early and sit in on the last ten minutes she's teaching and just stare longingly. Like oh my god that's my wife. Look at her explain the Warsaw Pact to these sixteen year olds shes so cool.

*Idk what his job is—maybe he's a doctor? Lawyer? Some kind of politician? Random dude who literally invented the iPhone? I guess if we're really going all in, he could teach at the school too, maybe he does robotics or math or something. (Poor Shadowhunter, can you imagine both of your parents teach at your school?)

-Queen Vigilance is the terrifying school board head. Everyone is sure she murdered a student at one point.

-Gaze gets to be very cool. She probably runs the school GSA, we stan.

-Way and Precocious are co-founders of the drama club. They used to be in Trailblazer's horrible clique in middle school, now they're not. Everyone thinks they're dating, they're not. (Yet.)

-Eclipse is an art kid!!! That's it. That's all I have to say. She gets to wear pretty outfits and draw murals on the side of the school, we love to see it.

-Shadowhunter and Gaze get to be friends--there's no revolutionary stuff going on, it's just like a big sister-little sister dynamic.

-Way and Precocious get to play love interests in a play at their school, and there's a whole subplot where they're trying to figure out their feelings, and avoid kissing in the play to the point where it's so obvious they're together, but they still deny it to anyone who asks.

*Gaze and Sharp-eyes have a fierce academic rivalry. It's horrible. They work at the library together and regularly get in heated debates about the Dewey decimal system.

-Trailblazer probably plays sports and insisted everyone in his clique did too so for a year in seventh grade, Way was the worlds worst football player.
