ok so this has been like a week in the making, but i made a clearsight ref! i made this so unnecessarily detailed--wattpad has probably destroyed the image quality, but if you zoom in on her wrists you should be able to see all the charms on the charm bracelet and the moonstone bracelet darkstalker gave her, but i made bigger versions beside her as well.

 i made a version with and without scars--i haven't totally figured out how to draw her and darkstalker's scars because they're supposed to be super complicated, which is lovely in writing... and kinda frustrating from a drawing perspective because i spent a good 30 minutes just painstakingly making these really complicated scars. which wouldn't really work in an animation context, or any other context where you want to be able to replicate a design quickly. they don't really stick to my brain so i could draw them again without checking this reference, which is not ideal. so they might get simplified a little bit.

yes i know i had an excuse to draw the nightwing crown here, but consider: drawing crowns is really tricky and i already had to draw SO MANY ACCESSORIES. why did i give her so many accessories. and i didn't feel like going back and reading through my old description of it. maybe when i do a darkstalker or vigilance ref lol. 

anyway she is huggable and friend-shaped, i'm very proud of her design! nightwings are great because i'm still learning how to do lineart digitally, and sometimes it comes out a bit shaky, but because they're such dark colours you can kind of hide your mediocre lineart job.

anyway! i am going to do darkstalker next i think!! aaaa i hope people like this!!!
