Author's Pov

"I don't understand! Why can't you understand?! I swear I saw Eliza there-" 

"Enough, Elena" Hunter's voice cuts Elena's desperate words. She looks at her father with teary eyes. No matter what she says, they were not listening to her after Anne confirmed that there was no one. 

It's been 12 hours since the attack of those wolves. Since then, Elena kept claiming she saw Elizabeth, who is still missing. The family is already exhausted from all the work, plus the tension of their missing daughter.

The mansion is as silent as a grave. No one slept within those 12 hours. Hunter, along with his pack and sons had gone out searching for Elizabeth and they couldn't find her. 

"My...my dear baby" Amora continued sobbing on Noah's chest. Her heart was beating loudly against her chest and her gut feeling was telling her that something was not right. 

"Fine! Don't listen to me, after all, I am the youngest one. Why would you guys believe me anyway?" Elena shouts and bursts into tears. She was sad, desperate, and tired. Sad because no one was believing her, desperate to prove herself right and tired of the recent events. 

She never thought that her special day would take a turn into such a disaster. She waited for this day for years, she wanted to be introduced officially to the pack and had a good time with them but it turned out to be a vicious disaster. 

This day was special not only for Elena but for the pack and her family as well. Everyone was excited to meet a human girl who would be a part of a pack full of wolves. Nobody thought that this Perfect day would turn out to be a bloodshed event. 

Elena wipes her tears and runs out towards the main door, then out of the mansion towards the Forest. 

Stefan , about to follow her was stopped by Hunter, "Let her be. She needs time to clear up. She will be back soon"

"But Dad, what if someone-" Stefan was cut of by Hunter who shakes his head in denial. 

"Everyone in the pack is now familiar to her. This is out area, no one will cause any harm to her. If anything, they will protect her if needed." He states. 

Stefan sighs, a little hesitant but nods anyway. 

"Why are you doing this , Moon Goddess? Did we do anything wrong?" Amora whispers loud enough for everyone to hear her. She looks towards the Moon through the huge window on her left side. 

"I hope this will end soon..."
