H3(P M3
Molly, Mala, and I walked away from the others as we split. We seemed to be in just another part of the forest. I was completely spaced out at the moment, my autopilot taking over so that I could think whilst not banging into trees. I snarled as I felt a sharp pain in my nose and lip, and heard a loud cracking noise with it. Backing up, I saw autopilot had failed me as I had just banged into a tree. I grabbed my nose and looked over to see Molly leaning against a tree laughing at me. I shot her a glare which only made her laugh harder.
"Y-your no-se" Continuously laughing at your best friend's seemingly broken nose evidently made it hard to speak properly. I grabbed my nose to try and contain some blood. I really didn't want to have to kill someone else yet. My nose felt like it was on fire, but I could feel some pain disappearing. My bones cracked a bit as they went back in place, my nose fixing itself. A spot on my lip started burning too, guess I had cut it. After the burning sensation in my nose and lip disappeared too, I turned back to Molly. She was sitting on the ground playing with a stick
"Better?" asked, clearly unamused. She nodded, chuckling still, and got up.
"Shall we go then? Or do you need a minute to laugh at your friend's broken nose?"
"Nah, I should be fine."
"Ok then, lez go!" We continued walking through the snow filled forest- wait. SNOW? I quickly looked down and saw the ground covered with snow. "Um... when did it start snowing?" I asked Molly. She pretended to be in deep thought about it for a moment.
"About half an hour ago when I told you that there was snow on the ground." I facepalmed, then looked at her through my fingers. "It's been that long?"
"Uh, yea. It was about an hour ago you broke your nose too if you were wondering." I shook my head slightly, sliding my hand down my face before dropping it to hang uselessly at my side. "Hey... do you feel that?" Molly suddenly asked. I gave her a weird look and tilted my head to the left slightly.
"What?" She looked at me.
"We're being watched." Now that she mentioned it, I did feel it.
"Hey useless asses." I looked at Mala.
"What is it?"
"Found a town. Looks like you could use a drink." She added, seeing the dried blood on my shirt. I shook my head at her, then turned to Molly.
"Mala found a town." Molly nodded, but didn't look completely convinced. "Ok, lead the way." Mala led us through the snowy forest, every so often checking back on us to see if we were still there. She stopped in front of a bush, pulling it aside to reveal a small town.
"I'll send a signal." Molly then shot a geyser of water into the air, drenching us both.
"I'm gonna go check it out. K?" Without waiting for a response, I smirked and ran down into the town.
"Recognize it?" Mala said from behind me. I stopped in front of a metallic fence surrounding a titanium wall.
"Too well." I growled, shuddering at the memories held here.
"What? Never thought you'd be here again?" Mala taunted a bit from behind me.
"Nope." I responded, walking along the outside of the fence, eying the titanium wall. "Never thought I'd be going back in." I muttered, then looked over to Mala briefly to see her mouth agape, eyes wide. "Not voluntarily anyway."
"You can't be serious!" Mala shouted, stepping from the shadows in front of me. "If they caught you-"
"They're not going to catch me." I snapped. Ok, yea, I was pissed. So what? All your doing is reading this, not like you can do anything.
"You.. do remember what happened last time... right?" Mala said carefully. I nodded and sighed.
"Yea, I remember." I squeezed my eyes shut and shuddered at the memory.
"So we're really doing this?" Nodding, I looked at her and folded my arms, grabbing my elbows.
"Yea."
"The place that haunts your nightmares."
"Our nightmares." I reminded her. She squeezed her eyes shut and shuddered too, crossing her arms.
"Let's go." I had found the entryway whilst we were talking, so we walked towards it. Each step making the knot of dread in my stomach grow.
Ok, yes. I was terrified of this place.
We reached the gate and I hacked the control panel, making the gates open like I had done so many times in the past, just usually I was heading in the opposite direction.
But you'd be too, if you knew what this place had done.
We marched up to the wall. I muttered a curse to the wall, and placed my hand on it. My hand instantly stuck to it, same with the other hand and both my feet. I climbed the wall whilst Mala just teleported to the other side using the shadows.
What they had done.
Sitting on the top of the wall, I looked at the white building on the other side. I let my legs dangle off the side of the easily 500 foot titanium wall.
They were inhuman, yet they treated us like we were the monsters.
Shadow tapped her foot impatiently on the ground below. I jumped down, grunting a bit from the impact when my legs hit the ground. The bones were shoved through the skin, blood splattering everywhere. I'm pretty sure my hip bone was now showing too, along with at least one broken rib. A burning sensation found it's way to my lower half as I healed.
"Smooth." Mala sarcastically clapped. "Want to rip your head halfway off too? Or are you good with breaking bones for the rest of the day." I rolled my eyes and stood up, brushing off my ass a bit to get some bloody mud off.
"I think I'm good."
It's not my fault.
Mala nodded. "Plans?"
"Creep in, kill a few, grab my storage, get out to the others."
"Sounds good, just don't let her out."
"Wasn't planning to." I re-read the sign that I had seen too many times. Frost Ultimate Mental Hospital
I'm not fucking crazy.
I growled at the sign. Mala nodded and put her hand on my shoulder, already knowing what I was thinking. "You're not crazy. Those assholes are." Her head twitched a bit. "Now let's go kick their asses." I nodded slightly. "Hey..." I looked over to see Mala looking at me with a concerned expression. "There's no going back." She smiled softly and I nodded, drawing in a shaky breath.
"Let's head in." We both started walking up to the doors of the asylum. I was admiring the blood stains on the walls done by yours truly. When we finally got to the doors, I grabbed a lock pic that I had hidden underground, and picked the lower lock, then changed my green eyes to the eyes of one of the guards that I had remembered working there. It tricked the eye scanner anyway. We both walked into the white entryway, and past the receptionist's desk whilst she was fetching something from the back.
I've always been sane, though they never thought so.
I'm guessing she was fetching another cigar. I believe her name was... Miranda? She's never been too happy. Something from her childhood. I shan't mention it though. It's not really that important anyway. There was a three way split, I walked to the left hallway. We passed many empty rooms whilst we were walking. Rooms that used to be occupied. My eyes misted a bit at the memories, but I forced the tears down. We needed to continue and I wasn't about to be caught because I couldn't move on from some memories. I'll cry about them later. I walked past my first room. How did I know it was my first room when all the rooms look identical? Well dear reader, my room was the only one with the door laying in a crumpled heap by the bed, and dried blood coating the walls and floor. Plus I had carved my name on the outside of the room, next to where the door was originally. Oh yea, there was also a dent on the wall that fit my head perfectly. Hehe. We finally arrived at the end of this hallway, which just had two hallways branching off of it. I chose the one farthest to the left again. We continued this hallway to the end as well. Not many people made it this far down. Where in the other hallway the only real "protection" was the door, in this hallway, there were doors that electrocuted you if you touched them. The windows also had bars running both horizontally and vertically on them. I smirked as we arrived at my second room. This one was again easily identifiable as the door was bent outwards enough for someone to fit through, there were two bullet holes in the wall, the window was no more, one of the bars were missing, whilst the others were sharpened and bent to and fro. Seeing the bullet holes, I placed my hand on my shoulder where the third one was now forever stuck. We crawled in through the gap in the door. Praying that they were still there, I ran over to the bathtub and ripped it out of the ground. Underneath, I found two bags. One of which had my usual outfit, whilst the other was filled with some blood bags. I smirked and pierced one of the bags with my fangs, drinking the contents. I wondered briefly if my trophy was still in it's place. I cautiously walked over to the sink and saw it was still there, dangling above the sink by a string. It was the guard who had shot me.... well... his head anyway. The skin was ripped off most of his head, dangling from where it was connected at the bottom. Dried blood ran out from the eye sockets, and clenched in his teeth, was the gun that he had shot me with. Dried blood had filled the sink too, making it impossible to use.
"I'm still proud of you for that." Mala said, coming to stand beside me. I giggled and nodded.
"Thanks."
"Well, last room then?" I nodded again.
"Sure, but let me put these on first."
"Got it. I'll wait outside." She then walked out, shutting the door behind her. My outfit consisted of my black jeans, my grey top, and my jumper. I loved this thing. It was a dark blue color. On the right side there was half of the Union Jack, and on the other side there was a gold crown with the word London on it in red lettering. It also had the Union Jack on the left arm. Oh please don't be surprised, yes I know Earth. Shut up. I've been to London a few times too... but that's not important. You're wondering why I was put in a mental asylum, aren't you? Well, let's just say that people frown upon...
1. Vampires in general
2. Seeing shadow people
3. Speaking to beings that no one else can see
4. Trying to kill your brother
5. Pretty much anything else that defines my life.
So yea. I'm not crazy though, I promise. And no, I didn't try to kill my brother, I was framed. We clear now? Good. Listen Reader, I'm sorry for taking over the book at times, ok? I never hurt DeadEmberGirl, I couldn't bring myself to. I just didn't want to be a monster to people. I was tired of it. I apologize though. As this is a chapter from my point of view though, DeadEmberGirl won't be doing her usual outro, so I'll do it. I'm not trying to take over! I promise! Um.. so... see ya in the next chapter. Um...
NEVER LET YOUR FIRE DIE!!!
